'Oh my god.. I must be dreaming.. this can't be real'

'There is no way a giant robot is standing in front of me right now.. I must be losing my mind!'

When the robot made a move closer to her, suddenly Grace yelped, 'Nope! Nope! Nope! Definitely not dreaming!'

She quickly stood up and made a run for it; the only thing she could think to do. She didn't get far before the robot chased her, catching up in a matter of seconds and stomping his foot in front of her, making her scream and tumble to the ground.

Barricade smirked at the human's response, he could tell she was scared out of her mind.

Grace was covering her face with her hands; 'oh my god what do I do.. what does it want.. I can't run.. I'll just have to be brave and face it head on..'

She slowly looked up to stare into the robot's red eyes, piercing down at her like it was the devil itself staring her down.

"What do you want?!" She yelled, her voice almost wavered but she caught herself, 'Do NOT show fear Grace. You can't.'

She focused on trying to control her breathing, she wouldn't get out of this if she was panicking.

'Trying to put on a brave composure. How cute.' Barricade thought to himself.

"Tell me fleshling," He would slowly build up, figure out her lies from her truths, "What is your designation?" His voice was deep and rough, for the intimidating factor. He already knew her name of course, but had to get the initial feel for how truthful she was.

'Designation? What does that mean?! Maybe it was asking for her name?'

"Why should I tell you that?!" She kept her voice loud and clear.

He took a step towards her and she felt herself tense up, "Let me ask again." His voice went down an octave and he engaged his melee weapon; it didn't start spinning, it was nearly a fear tactic.

'Oh my god.. what the hell is going on..' Grace swallowed hard as she stared at the weapon before saying, "Okay! Okay! It's Grace! Grace Witwicky."

"What do you want from me?!"

'Truthful but demanding, instead of whining and pleading. Interesting.' Barricade took another step towards her, planning to pin her against the pillar a few feet behind her so there was nowhere for her to go. "Tell me where Sam Witwicky is."

Grace's eyes widened slightly; 'Sam?! Why did this robot want to know where Sam was?! She didn't even know where Sam was.'

"Why should I do that?" Not that she knew, but she wasn't going to give this thing any answers if she could help it.

He pointed his melee weapon right at her and she reflexively covered her face with her hands. "I do not like repeating myself, human." He growled.

'Could this somehow be linked to why Sam and her parents disappeared? Were they in trouble like she is right now?'

'Maybe cooperate and he'll let me go? No.. why should I tell him anything?! I don't even know where Sam is regardless!'

"I have no idea where he is! He and my parents disappeared!" Was the honest truth, but Barricade wasn't buying it.

"Likely excuse." He strode towards her again, furthering back her up to where she'd be pinned against the pillar. Grace noticed this and felt her body start to panic again, 'No Grace, you can't panic, you have to stay calm or you'll die.'

"It's not an excuse! I tried calling him for hours and the lines weren't in service!"

Barricade narrowed his optics as he stared down at her, trying to gauge whether she was lying or not. 'Hard to tell. But if she is indeed telling the truth, finding the boy might no longer be an option. His priority was finding the glasses.'

"If that is indeed the case," And he wasn't completely convinced, but keep her on her toes for now, "Did Sam Witwicky have a pair of ocular lenses obtained from your great grandfather?"

'What the fuck?! She had no idea! She knew Sam had used some of their great grandfather's trinkets for a school project, but her dad had those hidden away in storage before that.'

"Possibly? I don't know, I never saw them!" When Barricade made another menacing step towards her, Grace's back hit the pillar. She was completely trapped.

Barricade was getting frustrated; either this human was useless for information or not telling him the truth. He again pointed his weapon straight at her and Grace gasped, "Stay the hell away from me!"

"Tell me where the glasses are. Now!" He suddenly shouted, which made Grace cringe. 'This robot was crazy! She had no idea!'

"I have no idea where they are! If anyone had them it was Sam and I told you I have no idea where the hell he is!"

"Wrong answer." Barricade growled and suddenly swiped the edges of his melee weapon down at her so it cut into her face. Grace screamed as the blades hit her face and she immediately started bleeding; she held a hand up to the right side of her face and could feel blood oozing into her palm and down her arm. 'Oh god.. oh god.. oh god..'

It hurt so bad! She closed her eyes and forced tears back that dared to leak from just how bad it hurt; 'don't cry Grace.. don't cry..'

"You will tell me where the glasses or your brother are. Whether I have to find either over your dead body or not is your choice." The Decepticon snarled, smirking when he saw the injury on the human's face.

"I really don't know!" She yelled out, almost in anger now, to hide the fear, "I never saw a pair of glasses! And Sam didn't even tell me about them! They're probably wherever he is if anything, which I also don't know! I tried calling and texting him but I couldn't get through! Like I've been fucking telling you this whole time!"

Barricade growled, but then an idea hit him. Her cell phone. Connect with it and pinpoint the location where Sam was. Or find out if she's telling the truth. He looked around for it and found it on the ground behind him, it had fallen out of her pocket when she was ejected from the vehicle.

"We'll see if you're telling the truth or not." He turned around and reached down for the phone, immediately hacking its network and searching for the information. Grace watched him as she panted, still holding a hand to her face but when her hand wasn't enough to keep the wound from bleeding as heavy as it was, she took off the sweatshirt she had around her waist and pressed it to the injury.

She felt herself wanting to cry again from the pain, but also from fear, 'Stop Grace.. you can't be afraid.. you can't cry.. it'll feed off of it.. be brave..'

She watched as the robot went through her phone, hoping this would at least show him that she wasn't in fact lying.

'What is it?! Where did it come from?! And why was it after her and her brother?!' She had so many questions.. but now wasn't the time. She had to keep herself from bleeding everywhere.

'Please.. if anyone is up there listening.. don't let me bleed out and die here..'

It took Barricade another minute to go through her phone, only to see there were missed calls and texts from her to Sam's number, but he wasn't able to track Sam's phone, it must have been disconnected or destroyed.. he growled to himself, she was telling the truth but it would make this hunt a lot harder.

"Seems you aren't such a foolish human after all." He threw her phone down next to her as he walked towards her again, only for the phone's screen to completely shatter. Grace felt her heart drop; 'no way of calling for help now..'

Barricade thought of his options for a moment before contacting Starscream, :The second Witwicky descendent is useless for information. It seems the other one has gone under the radar, and is no longer track-able.:

He could hear Starscream's growl of frustration over the line, but the Decepticon's second in command quickly thought of a new plan, :Perhaps we can use her for a ransom for the artifact, or for information. Keep the human prisoner. She might actually be of some use to us.:

:Understood, command Starscream.: Barricade answered. He looked down at her as she held the wound on her face still and he smirked again.

'Such a pathetic and helpless creature.'

Grace squeezed her eyes shut as the robot stared down at her again with its glowing red eyes, sending shivers up her spine, 'Please.. I just want to go home..'
