I'm back with a new one-shot! I was supposed to write a 30 day challenge back in October, but I was so busy that I didn't get the chance. This would've been day 5: Amortentia. Enjoy!

No One POV:

A jealous scowl appeared on Ginny Weasley's face as she noticed that her crush was staring at someone else. It wasn't just some random witch either. The person just so happened to be her older brother Fred, or the twin she assumed was Fred. No one could really tell the twins apart except for Harry. Anyways, Ginny should be the only one who gets to have the attention of The Boy Who Lived. That's what she thought at least. After all, the young Weasley was going to be the next Lady Potter. Harry didn't know this of course, but Ginny was sure that her beloved would ask for her hand in no time.

'Why can't his focus be on someone that matters, like me. Fred can't do anything right and doesn't deserve the friendship my beloved Harry has so kindly bestowed upon him.' A smirk made an appearance on Ginny's face as an idea popped into her head. 'What if I borrow one of the love potions I saw by the shop entrance and give a dose to Harry. Then his attention will be back on me, and I won't have to worry about it going to anyone else. I could frame someone else too, so that way no one suspects that I've played a role in the potion giving at all. Yes… that's perfect! I'll have to get right on it. By this time tomorrow, Harry will be only mine.'

Ginny's thoughts came to a stop as she pretended to trip in front of Fred. Since she was so close to him, everyone would think that Fred purposely tripped his poor younger sister.

"Fred! How could you trip me? I was just trying to head to buy something from you guys!"

Harry was quick to interrupt before the situation could escalate. He knew that George didn't trip Ginny and was a little annoyed that the sixth-year student was trying to pin the blame on one of the twins at all.

"Ginny, this is George, and he wasn't moving at all. Also, why would he trip you in his shop anyways? There are more than enough people to see, and he wouldn't do so in the first place. Maybe you should analyze the situation before just assuming next time."

An embarrassed flush appeared on Ginny's face as she stood up. The situation didn't end up going how she thought it would and now Harry was mad at her.

"How was I supposed to know that it wasn't Fred and they both would try something like trip me no matter where we are." Ginny's defense was weak, but she couldn't think of anything else on the spot.

"Fred and George are two totally different people. Just because they share a similar face, doesn't mean they are so easy to mistake. George is the louder one and makes the most jokes while smiling just a tad bit wider, and Fred has a way of being just a little quieter while also being the analyzer. If that isn't enough for you to tell the difference, then there's also the fact that the two were on totally opposite sides of the joke shop before this conversation happened. That being said, I know for a fact that neither of your twin brothers would ever stoop so low as to hurt you in any way. I find that it is sad that you would even think that in the first place." Harry was out of breath by the end of his speech and was leaning into Fred for support.

Ginny just stormed away and left the shop. There was no point in staying if she was just going to get told off by Harry.

Harry POV:

I watched as Ginny stormed out of the joke shop before I put my focus on both of the twins. "Why did you make me come down here again? I really wasn't in the mood to deal with Ginny. She's still very obsessed with me and I can't stand it."

George was the one to respond as Fred wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "Well, Harrikins, we wanted to spend time with you before you have to go to the Ministry for work. You'll be out late, and we all know that you won't eat dinner when you get home anyways. Besides, how else is Fred supposed to get love and affection?"

My brain blanched at his words. "George, if you wanted me to give you a kiss, I would've without the crazy story. You're my boyfriend and I will always give you the affection you desire." I smiled and pulled away from Fred to give George a kiss.

A bashful look arose on his face. He was absolutely gorgeous like this, and I wouldn't change him for the world.

"Get a room you two or I'll prank you for the rest of the week." Fred laughed as he walked away from us.

Hopefully this wasn't too disappointing! I typed this up in like thirty minutes and had really bad writer's block! Also, this is crossposted to AO3.
