At the gates of the Twilight Manor Bell was greeted by two overly aggressive guards. Though in fairness they weren't aggressive until he had failed his speech check. How was he supposed to know that asking to see Aiz Wallenstein would greet him with such aggression though? As soon as he said he wanted to see her the guards first burst into laughter before they looked him over once more realizing that he was completely serious. With great fury the first guard Grabbed Bell by his collar and lifted him off the ground. Oddly enough the guards didn't show up as enemies on his mini-map, so that must have meant this was scripted. Surely enough a beautiful, tall elven woman with green hair arrived.

"And what do you think you're doing. You are aware that your actions do reflect on the rest of us?" She addressed the guard currently holding Bell with a scowl on her face, before turning to Bell, "I apologize for their behavior, young man. Now what have you come here for."

"He says he's come for an audience with Aiz Lady Riveria." The less aggressive of the guards interrupted before Bell even got a chance to speak. Lady Riveria seemed to want Bell to speak for himself as she shot the guards who responded to her a nasty glare before turning to Bell once more.

1. He's right, I've come to claim Aiz' heart!

2. I've come for revenge. I won't forget what she's done to me!

3. ...

'What is with these choices?' He thought to himself as he elected to remain silent. Riveria eyed him over before sighing.

"I'm sorry if these two had intimidated you. Would you like to come inside for some tea?" The kindly elven woman asked much to Bell's surprise. Agreeing to her offer led him inside the manor and sat him at a small table in the main room. She left for a moment before returning with a tea set and poured him a cup before taking a seat herself. "So, what is it you've come for?"

"I've come to speak with Aiz Wallenstein about what happened in the dungeon." Bell admitted, not quite knowing how Riveria would react. Given how poorly the guards behaved, he only hoped she wouldn't roughhouse him. For her part, she didn't seem to react negatively to his claim, but did eye him over several times in almost an appraising manor.

"And just what happened in the dungeon if you don't mind me asking?" She said cautiously.

"I was attacked by a minotaur on the fifth floor and I wanted to speak to her about the incident." He told her. To his surprise the older elf seemed to turn to the side in an attempt to hide a pout.

"Very well. I believe Aiz is out back training if you want to speak with her." Riveria said, leading Bell around the manor. Sure enough Aiz was there practicing her swordsmanship. Bell was awestruck by the sheer power the sword princess possessed.

"Now that's what a power gamer looks like!" Bell cheered in excitement, confusing Riveria and distracting Aiz from her practice.

"Power gamer?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you I was just inspired by the grind."

"The... Grind?"

"Yeah, Grinding is when you accumulate exp through things like training and fighting monsters."

"Exp? Do you mean excelia?"

"Yeah sure."

"Was there something you wanted?"

1. I'm madly in love with you.

2. You brought that minotaur to the fifth floor! I won't forgive what you've done!

3. I'm looking for my father

4. ...

3 obviously made the most sens.. Wait! 3 didn't make sense at all! Bell didn't even know his father and why would Aiz!?

"Okay. Is your dad part of our familia or something?" Aiz asked, putting her finger on her chin in a cutesy manner. And in that moment Bell felt his soul leave his body.

"What I meant to say was uh... minotaur." He muttered out unsure of how to respond after that blunder.

"You're that boy I saved from the minotaur!" she said before bowing deeply, "I am truly sorry for endangering you like that. It was our fault the minotaurs fled to the higher levels."

Bell couldn't help but groan. This entire encounter felt like a half-baked mission the devs threw in just to transition him from one part of the story to the next.

"Don't worry about it. Fighting that minotaur was part of my quest," he explained.

"Quest?" Aiz asked in a real cutesy manner.

"Yes. That's the real reason I'm here. Normally I have some sort of quest to follow, but after fighting that minotaur I haven't recived a new one. I wanted to see if talking to you would give me a new mission." he finally admitted. It felt... wrong, to just ask for a mission update like that, bit he was desperate!

"You want me to give you a quest? What sort of quest?" she asked.

"Well, normally the quests ate small things that eventually lead into something bigger. Do you have any important goals you want to achieve?"

"Important goals? The only thing I want is to one day kill the black dragon, but I think that may not be an appropriate quest for someone like you." Aiz said. Quest Obtained: Learn About the Black Dragon.
