Hello. I'm a writer.

That is probably the most obvious thing I've ever said, do forgive me as I can be eccentric at times.

A pleasure to meet you all, I imagine you guys are feeling excited, I'll try my best not to disappoint. I've been writing for a while and I like to think I'm doing well even if I still have plenty to improve on.

This fic takes inspiration from many versions of the Naruto Phenex stories I've read, notably the ones that are about him being the same age as Sirzech and being one of the main heroes of the civil war.

In particular, the one who inspired me to write this story and the one I wish to especially praise is 'StrongStyle777'. His version of the many Naruto Phenex stories, called 'A Pheonix's fury' is phenomenal.

Now I'll be introducing my own twists and turns to the story to make it more interesting, you'll find my version differs quite a bit (or a lot) from the version of StrongStyle777 or other authors.

Because one tends to grow bored reading the same thing, about how Grayfia cheated on him with Sirzech and yada yada yada, so you won't be seeing that.

Anyway, I do hope you all enjoy this story.

Now… loose the cannons you filthy bilge rats!

Sorry, couldn't resist pulling a pirate of the Caribbean reference.

Moving on…

Start:

Power.

Will.

Fury.

Those words, for better or worse, held behind it a definition that oozed with strength and were concepts that countless of beings wished to be associated with.

Seen as the living embodiment of those words, Naruto Phenex was a bit of a controversial figure in the entire supernatural world.

His strength, charisma, and even his kindness invited awe from all kinds of figures from all kinds of factions.

And the blonde devil was renowned for having shown compassion and mercy to even the sworn enemies of his race, the angels and fallen angels.

Those acts of mercy, while inviting the scorn of most of the older devils who disapproved of his actions, endeared him to the important figures of both Heaven and Grigory who were grateful for his compassion.

And even the more impressionable devils were impressed with him.

Due to those qualities, Naruto Phenex was adored by many in the supernatural world.

Yet those same qualities caused many, devil or otherwise, to detest him.

So it was only natural that when Naruto Phenex, one of the great heroes of the devil civil war and the leading contender for the position of Lucifer, vanished abruptly, that the supernatural world had mixed reactions to the news.

Countless beings, devils or otherwise, and that included even the angel and fallen angels, lamented the unexpected news of someone powerful yet incredibly kind disappearing without a trace.

Just as many others were beyond thrilled with the news.

Some detested him for simply being a devil, others despised him for his compassion. Most however loathed him for being incredibly powerful and influential.

Yet before his disappearance, none dared to challenge him in fear of inciting his wrath. He was just too strong, otherworldly so.

The thought of being able to kill the running up contender for the Lucifer title was a hopeless one.

But no matter what side an individual was on, be they be the ones celebrating or the ones lamenting the devil hero's disappearance, all of them without fail, shared one question in mind.

Where was Naruto Phenex? That was the question that was largely left unanswered for two hundred years.

Until now.

The answer to that question would have surprised them all.

Another dimension.

In an entirely new world, one that was mostly free of the supernatural element that existed in this dimension. There were no devils, no angels or fallen angels, no dragons or Gods or anything else.

Only chakra wielding humans existed, along with alien parasites and masses of chakra called Bijuu.

And Naruto's place in that world? He was the seventh hokage. A leader of the largest and strongest village in that world. And more importantly, he was a proud father of three rambunctious kids and husband to one demure and gorgeous Hinata Hyuuga.

Yes… He possessed a place in that world. An intimate place.

As Naruto Uzumaki.

Standing by the windows overlooking the expanse of greenery outside, stoic blue eyes gleamed in the dark, those oceans pools betraying not even a hint of thoughts as they gazed at the seemingly unending rain.

Lightning struck the earth.

Naruto paid it no heed, arms crossed as he quietly contemplated everything. A year and a half since his return, yet he still felt inextricably lost.

Assuming that one would somehow attain the answer to the question that plagued the supernatural world, the question of Naruto Phenex's disappearance, another question would then rise to take its place.

Why?

Why would he leave and forsake his world when he was immensely respected, immensely loved, immensely powerful, and was on the cusp of attaining leadership over the entire devil race?

Only those closest to him and those of power knew the reason.

The loss of his family.

A morbid and tragic turn of events, set a few months after the end of the devil civil war and orchestrated by none other than Rizevim Lucifer, a super devil whose power surpassed even that of his father, and the one who out of sheer boredom, decided to spice things up by suddenly invading the Phoenix estate and killing Naruto's parents before fleeing away.

The pain that followed once Naruto had learnt of that revelation…

Heart-shattering was describing it mildly.

The death of his parents, the two individuals who had showered Naruto with so much love, affection and support that it even surpassed that of a Gremory, broke the blonde beyond repair.

Suddenly, it mattered not that the civil war had ended with them as winners, it mattered not that he was soon to be crowned as the leader of the devil race, and it mattered not that he was dating Grayfia Lucifuge, a woman who he loved to the end of the world and one that he planned to propose to soon.

Because every ounce of happiness in him was snuffed out, quenched, extinguished, at the realization that he failed to protect the family he so dearly loved.

And the gaping hole in where his heart was supposed to be, was replaced by a pain and rage so great that he had gone on an underworld wide hunt, using every ounce of resource available to him to find and murder the fiend that took away his family.

If one good thing had come out of the devil civil war, it was the fact that the underworld was closed off from the human world and that meant that Rizevim was in his reach.

So focused was he on hunting down Rizevim, Naruto had even dumped Grayfia before closing off any contact with his friends who worried for him.

For a full week, Naruto searched every crook and corner of the underworld, even using a recently developed cloning technique that worked much like the shadow clones with the shared memory, except the clones were intangible and didn't hold much battle application.

With around a hundred replicas along with the original searching day and night, with no sleep in between, Naruto had soon found the son of the original Lucifer, hiding near the borders of the extinct Malphas clan.

Rizevim had underestimated the blonde's hunting capabilities and he paid for it dearly as Naruto immediately engaged him in combat.

Exhausted from countless sleepless nights and being low on energy as he was, Naruto Phenex was still somehow giving the son of the original Lucifer a beatdown.

By all accounts, Naruto shouldn't have even been able to fight in his severely exhausted state, but the rage he felt propelled him forward, and with intense drive, he clobbered on Rizevim and showed him exactly why he was herald as the strongest devil.

So intense and powerful was the fight, it immediately drew the attention of many high-ranking devils including his friends and former lover who appeared on the ruins of the Malphas clan, watching with awe and worry as the two super devils fought.

A barrier separated the onlookers from interfering, created by Naruto with the intention to prevent outside interference and rendering the spells of any and all teleportation null and useless.

Created solely to ensure that Rizevim could not escape.

The battle lasted for nearly half a day before Naruto had Rizevim on his knees, beaten to near death, and begging for mercy.

Gazing at him with cold, rage-filled eyes, the strongest devil showed him no mercy as he gripped and clamped down on Rizevim's throat, and with a burst of power, slowly raised the heat of his flames until it reached degrees that far surpassed even the revered and highly respected flames of Amaterasu, the sun Goddess.

Even the barrier protecting everyone watching did not prevent them from feeling the sheer hotness of Naruto's flames, flames so blue and fiery that it felt like the very sun was down with them.

None could tear their eyes away, their gaze rooted on the scene of Rizevim getting burnt alive, loudly screaming in pain before his vocal cords became mangled.

It was a testament to Rizevim's durability that he was alive and that his body didn't turn to ash even as the fire reached three-fourth of its heating power.

By the time Naruto's flames reached their highest burning point, Rizevim's entire body was already scorched to a crisp, and it didn't take long before his very form turned into ash.

That was the scene that the devils had witnessed, and even those closest to him were gripped by fear as Naruto dropped the barrier before he teleported away.

Guilt would flood the hearts of those who cared and loved him, preventing them from visiting for the next few days due to shame.

News of the battle and of Rizevim's death had soon spread to every corner of the supernatural world, the brutal way in which the super devil passed on causing those who already loathed the blonde to be even more fearful of incurring his wrath.

It was only another few days later that Naruto disappeared from the world, leaving behind countless including a weeping Grayfia, heartbroken once they learnt of his unannounced departure.

A departure to another world, another dimension, made only possible thanks to the being who had resided in the dimensional gap.

Great Red.

The dragon God.

The dragons of dragons.

The strongest existence.

And bestowed with another, specific title that had Naruto Phenex seek him out.

The dragon of dreams.

The dragon God was a being quite literally born from dream, so it wasn't too far out of the possibilities to consider that Great Red would be able to help him in his endeavor of living a second life. That was what he had theorized.

Only… he failed to take into account one thing.

Great Red wasn't the kind who would help send another being to a different dimension, but after relentless prodding, the strongest being acquisitioned under the condition that Naruto Phenex impress him in their battle.

And battle they did. Great Red was truly a fearsome foe and if not for his healing abilities, the devil would have already died many times ago.

Truth be honest, as impressive as he was, the devil knew that with his current skills, there was simply no winning against the strongest existence.

At this point, it had seemed like life would very, very soon come to an end to the heir of the Phenex clan, and if that truly was the case, then Naruto would greet the afterlife.

But not before leaving his mark.

Leave his mark Naruto had done indeed, he had let loose an attack so powerful that it left behind a visible burn right on the left side of the dragon's core.

An attack that had severely impressed the strongest existence.

So impressed was the dragon of dreams, he had ended their battle so as to respect and acknowledge the request that had been made.

Great Red had imparted Naruto with knowledge of a spell that would send his very essence into a new world, where he could start anew.

The only issue being that it was highly unlikely that he'd remember anything of his past life.

Naruto was fine with that.

He preferred it actually.

All he had left of the world he was soon to leave was his friends and ex-lover.

The Phenex hero could not stomach the thought of casually talking with Ajuka, Serafall, and Falbium, not after how he had ignored them in his pursuit of vengeance.

There was also no forgetting Selah. A truly remarkable woman and friend that he had known since childhood. One that he immensely cared for and one that he knew he took for granted. How was he supposed to face her when Naruto had given her the same callous treatment he gave the rest of his friends?

And it was Selah for Satan's sake! She, above everyone else he knew outside of his family and possibly Grayfia, always deeply cared for him, claiming that nothing mattered more to her than his health and happiness.

Some friend he was… not treasuring his childhood best friend that always thought of his future and happiness.

He wasn't deserving of being her friend when he didn't treasure her properly like she did to him.

And of course… Grayfia… She was the one who had received the worst of what Naruto had dished out in his quest to avenge his family. There was no way he could even look in the direction of the woman he loved after callously dumping her the way he did.

With those thoughts in mind, the devil used the acquired spell, form fading away into nothingness as his soul departed to a world he would eventually come to love.

A long time had passed since then, thirty years by his count, sixty to everyone else in this world, when the essence of Naruto Phenex had reawakened within Naruto Uzumaki during the near end of his battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki.

The impressive healing abilities of the Phenex clan, so powerful that it was thought that those who possessed those abilities were immortal, was inextricably linked with the essence of Naruto Phenex.

And with the fusion of Naruto's Uzumaki's spirit to that of Naruto Phenex, from which Uzumaki's soul had originally been derived from, came the birth of Naruto Uzumaki Phenex.

A warrior whose powers and abilities was a fusion of both essences becoming whole.

Isshiki Otsutsuki had hardly been a match to the might of Naruto Uzumaki in baryon mode.

But with the fusion of both essence and the sequential birth of Naruto Uzumaki Phenex, and with the immense weakening due to Baryon mode, came the Otsutsuki's demise.

Naruto had wiped the floor with him before the fusion and even on the off chance that Isshiki had been holding back and was at his prime, he would still fall short of defeating the blonde who was now leagues stronger and was also in possession of the near-immortality of the Phenex clan, enabling the shinobi devil to enter Baryon mode at will with no repercussions.

Not that he needed it.

From there, Naruto had defended the elemental nation for another seventy years, defeating any alien parasite who arrived with the intention to conquer his second home world.

His wife and all three of his children knew the truth, he told them everything the first chance he got.

And as he had expected, they were accepting of it, accepting of his true origins.

A gentle smile tugged at Naruto's lips. Accepting of him.

Breathing out, Naruto allowed calm to wash over him.

Tranquility dulling his senses as he surrendered to the peace within, a peace that he could never have attained until he had finally found a family in Hinata, Boruto, Himawari, and Kawaki.

Naruto loved them immensely, and that love was well reciprocated, allowing for the process of a deep healing to begin, a healing that helped mend the shattered pieces of his heart back together after he had regained the memories of his first life.

Time flew by.

Many, many years had passed since his battle with Isshiki, and a great deal of change had happened since. The world was still going through an era of peace, the fear of war and devastation having long since faded, especially after Naruto had killed the entire Otsutsuki clan.

Hinata was dead, having succumbed to old age while his kids were… no longer kids.

Each of them had children and grandchildren of their own now and personally, Naruto could not have been any more prouder at the life Boruto, Kawaki, and Himawari had built for themselves.

It had hit hard when they too had eventually fallen into the embrace of eternal sleep, but the blonde could draw comfort from the decades of memories he shared with them.

With the elemental nation at peace, the Otsutsuki clan dead, and no one alive who he considered as one of his precious people, except for the tailed beasts, Naruto would then finally release the spell that held his soul in the elemental nation.

Which was how he had then wound up back in his home world. One year and a half later and here he was.

He had originally left his home universe. His heart broken in shambles and seemingly beyond repair.

But he had eventually returned, heart stitched back together and brimming with a sense of serenity that could awe even the most meditative of Gods.

And now… even as he tried to figure his place out in the world, Naruto Uzumaki Phenex knew one thing for sure, and that was that this…

He neede -

- A set of arms gently sneaked around his midsection before the shinobi felt the soft imprint of lips pressing against the back of his shoulder.

Naruto voluntarily relaxed, eyes closed in bliss as the woman kissing his shoulder removed her lips before she laid her face across his back, her hands gently running across his front before settling down on his core.

How did he know it was a woman?

The pair of mounds he felt smushed against his back was a pretty good indication.

"Is everything alright, Naruto?" The mystery woman spoke, her voice a harmonious meld of gentle and sensuous.

He didn't respond right away, taking a moment to consider his words before he'd utter them. "…I'm alright. I just have a lot on my mind."

The response amused the woman who let loose a small giggle, idly scratching his torso with her nail. "I'm aware of that. Why else would you be staring out into the storm at four in the morning?"

A mischievous smile tugged at the blonde's lips. "Just thinking… about how you look like you've gotten a little fatter."

She gasped, scandalized by his proclamation. It wasn't long after that Naruto winced in pain as his lover's nails dug uncomfortably into his stomach. "Oww. Okay, I was joking, honest!"

"Your taste in jokes are rather poor." She delivered a smack across his chest to punctuate her words.

Naruto did not reply, shoulders shaking as he chuckled much to her faux displeasure.

Humming contently, the woman soon chuckled alongside before laying a gentle kiss on his shoulder blade. "Let's go back to bed. We can talk in the morning."

"As you wish." Naruto looked over his shoulder, deep ocean blue eyes latching onto a soft pair of molten gold orbs. "Yasaka."

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Several hours later, Naruto lied on the same bed he was dragged to, a content smile plastered on his visage as his lover snuggled up to him from on top of his chest, mewling happily as he scratched the back of her ears.

It was a favorite pastime of theirs, scratching her ears or brushing her tails, a pastime that both blondes enjoyed, though Yasaka derived greater pleasure at the act than he did.

Understandable why.

Still, it never failed to amuse him at how… unleader-like she became once his fingers rubbed or brushed against a certain spot.

A far cry from the woman he had met not even a day after his return to his home world.

Saying that their first meeting was rough was putting it lightly. The voluptuous Yokai had attacked him on sight and he was forced to retaliate.

Only he wasn't interested in harming her as she was to him, but true to his luck, Amaterasu had appeared not a minute after Yasaka had attempted to strike at him, evidently wanting to talk to the Youkai leader about something. Seeing him, the goddess too was then enraged by his very presence as she swiftly joined in on the assault.

'Good times.' Naruto thought sarcastically.

Knowing that the longer the conflict went on, the worse it would get. And also not wanting to signal to the world that he was here when he had just arrived less than twenty fours hours ago, Naruto quickly subdued the pair.

Restraining them in such a way where the physical act of moving would be extremely difficult. Just for good measures, he also cut off their access to chakra and divine energy before waiting patiently for the pair to calm down.

The joys of being able to use the chakra cloak even when he no longer was a jinchuriki.

Yasaka and Amaterasu were surprisingly stubborn with their rage. Any attempt to talk to either of them as they were restrained proved to be a fruitless endeavor and so, in an act of cooperation, he released them (Along with their energy.) with the hopes that they'd finally understand that he wasn't a threat to them.

Fortunately, his act helped pacify their anger to a degree where they'd finally resorted to properly communicating with him, questioning who he was, how he was here and why did he come?

Naruto replied as honestly as he could without divulging the fact he was in a different world before his arrival in Kyoto.

Telling them his name, which inwardly shocked the pair to their core.

Explaining that his arrival here was completely unintentional, and that it was due to the use of a space-time technique different from the regular one.

Now a bit more calmer, Naruto inquired for the reason of why the both of them had been so angry, which reinvigorated their anger before they began to yell about the injustice that the devils had committed against them. Namely the Nekoshou massacre from a few years ago.

Such news had Naruto recoiling in shock, wondering what led up to the escalation of such events.

So caught off guard, he even used his emotion sensing abilities to try determine if either Amaterasu or Yasaka had been lying or even exaggerating to him of the horrors that were conducted on the poor slaughtered Nekoshou.

And from what he had sensed of their anger, it was as genuine as they come. Meaning that every word spoken was the truth.

Now knowing why the sight of him had angered the pair so much, the devil bowed much to the pair's shock before he revealed to them of how he was out of touch with the entire world and how the very news of what his fellow devils had done disgusted him to the core.

He asked for their forgiveness before he declared that he would stop at nothing to ensure that those who had participated and were responsible for such heinous crimes would be brought here where the Shinto pantheon would have every right to try them.

All he asked out of the pair is that they don't reveal his identity or their meeting. And for a temporary refuge in which he could stay until he could learn about everything he had missed about the supernatural world in the decades he had been gone.

A request that Yasaka and Amaterasu had ultimately acquisitioned to after a bit of careful consideration.

True to his words, a bit over a week later, Naruto had returned to Kyoto and stealthily sought out a calmer but still apprehensive Yasaka who in turn summoned the sun Goddess in her office.

Skeptical as they were, neither of them saw the harm in being with him alone, especially when the embarrassing memory of how Naruto had beaten the both of them with mind-numbing ease flashed in mind.

Unrolling a scroll once they were in a private clearing, the shinobi devil unsealed the contents of that scroll, somewhere between two hundred fifty to three hundred devils popping up into existence, each of them knocked unconscious, bodies bruised beyond recognition.

Despite the evidence in front of them, Amaterasu and Yasaka had to actually make sure that those devils were the ones responsible for the atrocity of the massacre, a quick use of the memory viewing spell performed on a few of them confirmed it for the pair.

It went without saying but… no one had heard signs of those devils ever again.

The shinobi still remembered how the underworld had gone into an uproar over the loss of two hundred and fifty plus high-class devils.

A mass search was conducted.

It yielded nothing after a few months. No surprise as Naruto was the Hokage, the leader of the biggest assassination village in the elemental nation. He'd know how to erase his own trail.

Relations between him and Yasaka and Amaterasu had become much smoother since.

It wasn't exactly smooth sailing but as the days turned into weeks then months, Naruto had quickly warmed up to the pair as they did him.

Ten months later after he had first met the pair, his relation with them had become so good that Yasaka had even trusted him to be around and care for Kunou in her absence.

And he and the little tyke had gotten close after many trips to the park and ice cream vending machines.

As for how it was with the sun goddess…

He and Amaterasu developed a sibling like relationship, bonding over practically everything which also included cool anime such as One punch man or Jujutsu Kaisen.

It wasn't something he expected or planned, but he had gotten close to them all.

He even revealed the truth of his whereabouts in the past two hundred years. Only to Amaterasu and Yasaka though, Kunou was too young to know about his journey.

Flash forward another eight months and here he was, dating the blonde bombshell that had attempted to kill him on day one of his arrival here.

Life was such a funny thing.

Stopping his ministrations, Naruto watched, amused as Yasaka whined before she peered down on him with an adorable pout on her lips. "Why'd you stop?"

He grinned. "So I can do this." Raising his head, he caught her lips in a kiss, lips mashing together and moving sensuously in a rhythm that could only be described as mesmerizing.

Yasaka moaned and Naruto took the chance to slip his tongue in her mouth, easily finding her own before they eagerly engaged in a saliva swapping exchange.

As much as they both enjoyed the act of Naruto caressing Yasaka's ears and tails, it brought them nowhere near as much pleasure as when the two of them would make out.

That was a much more fun hobby of theirs, one that they loved and usually partook in for hours on some days.

In fact, Kunou had almost caught them a few days ago.

Fortunately for them, she hadn't. Naruto doubted he or Yasaka could explain their way out of why the two of them were… touching lips and tongues.

Allowing his hands to roam, his right hand found home at the mid of her back while his left trailed down even further before it finally arrived at its destination. He grabbed her stunningly thick rear, giving it a good squeeze before giving it a swat, Yasaka releasing a mhmmm sound, loving the feel of his hands on her body.

They continued to make-out as though the world was about to end, tongues intertwined in a slow dance as Yasaka caressed and cupped Naruto's visage with profound care, slowly raising his head as she sat up straight in his lap so they could resume their passionate kiss without pause.

Offhandedly, Naruto could have sworn he heard something but ultimately disregarded it, too wrapped into the searing kiss he was locked into with Yasaka to care.

Eventually the need for oxygen proved to be too great for the blonde pair, too much even for their supernatural physiology to handle, they separated, lungs burning with considerable exertion as they breathed deeply.

Strands of saliva connecting Naruto's mouth to Yasaka's like the cables of a sagging bridge.

An undeniable proof of the tongue battle he had been engaged in with the hot milf.

Suddenly, Naruto noticed a small movement from the corner of his eyes, he looked over and was briefly stunned before he inwardly sighed.

Noticing where his gaze trailed to, Yasaka curiously looked over, a thread of drool still miraculously connected between her and her lover, and she felt her eyes widen in shock.

There, standing at the door with bafflement clear in her face, was Kunou.

Naruto sighed once more. What luck he had.

End.

This is officially, the weirdest time I have ever ended a chapter. Rest assured when I say that this won't be a regular thing.

The chapter is a bit shorter than what I usually write, but this chapter right here is the prologue so I couldn't add too much to it.

I do hope you all enjoyed the chapter though. It was pretty fun to write.
