Percy forced himself not to jump upon the arrival of the Protogenoi of Punishment but couldn't control the widening of his eyes upon gazing across the visage of the Pit.

He appeared in the form of a human-like male excluding the fact he was forty feet tall and garbed in torn clothing. His complexion was of a cloud on a sunny day, most likely due to never leaving above Hades but he wore a navy blue chiton that appeared heavily worn. No, perhaps unused would be the word.

He wondered the last time Tartarus had taken form but swiftly had to fight getting lost in the black iris that swirled with promises of unspeakable death. His smirk took his face as he questioned, "Have you no words? Or was this your reason for calling to me? I will admit, it has been awhile since I have been called to be nothing but an object of attraction."

Percy took a deep breath and ignored the taunt, "No, I have better use of you. From my recollection you have not attended any meetings recently amongst the Protogenoi Council. Thus I must ask, do you know of the purpose of my birth?"

Tartarus cocked an eye, "If I knew not more of your character, it would not be wrong to assume you arrogant. But I am aware, monsters talk my dear Perseus. More importantly, the Protogenoi talk. You need not worry. We have already been updated on the situation."

Percy breathed in relief, "So you know of my recent vision. In which I discovered how to open the Tapestry?" He immediately felt like an idiot upon the widening of the room's occupants' eyes. He had forgotten that his new found status allowed him to protect his mind from fellow Protogenoi.

"No, we knew of your encounter with Chaos. The Chasm's power spiked while Tartarus was guarding it. How must it be opened?" Nyx enquired, seeming more human by the sparkle in her eyes.

Percy considered for a moment before deciding upon revealing the truth, "I was given a vision wherein it was opened in the presence of the Future King of Olympus and the entire Primordial Council sans Gaea. It was why I called for you. I wish to recreate the situation soon."

Nyx shook her head, "That cannot be all. Have you looked past what was given?" Upon shaking his head, she continued, "If it granted you a vision then you must observe the situation in its entirety. The Council does not meet more than once a century. And even that is a recent development since we've been aiding the Future King."

Percy recounted the vision in his head, the council sat in a circle in contrast to the Olympian's horseshoe. As he had said, they were all present except for Gaea and an honorary throne had been risen for the King. The walls were a marble white with no pattern as the room itself was a pocket dimension within space. It probably was.

He rolled his eyes wondering what there was to look past until he noticed something odd. The ceiling was that of a sky displaying galaxies he didn't know.

They were oddly placed as if intentionally created around the biggest galaxy which shone the brightest. The centre one was that of several rings of blue stars and others surrounding a bright star.

He memorized their placing before receding from the memory. Not even a moment had passed since he'd begun.

"Were you referring to the galaxies among the ceiling?" Percy asked, still mentally retracing the pattern of stars.

Nyx smiled, eyes softening slightly, "Correct, were present? Depending on the meeting, we rotate galaxies for whose turn it was to gather the Council. Which galaxy was most prominent?"

He explained to her the description of the centrefold galaxy and they both rolled their eyes knowingly, "That is Pontus'. You will have to call the meeting but such is not done randomly. We have gathered for few so-called limited to, your birth, the end of the Primordial Age, the end of the Golden Age and when the Age of Gods continued without passing to a new ruler."

Percy's eyebrows furrowed, "So I won't be able to call a meeting?" He sighed tired upon the negative shake of her head, "How long until I may call the meeting then? Won't the Future King be there for the next one?"

Nyx laughed rolling her eyes, "The Gods are not like you and I. They can't abandon their duties for long periods of time without repercussions. Our meetings take time to gather us all in a safe place. We may not be the rulers anymore, but we still guard and protect the realms, Perseus. It is why we can't have random meetings. Tartarus is only here because we are within his Realm."

Percy raised a questioning eyebrow, "Then why can I move so freely? Besides, can't we just have the meeting here?"

Tartarus gave him a look that nearly reduced him to ash feeling stupid, "You are new to your position childe. You know not the truth of what being a Protogenoi is yet. We currently assist in your duties by spreading ourselves more. And to why the meeting can't be here? Do you truly believe the Mortal Realm can be sustained when Chronos isn't on the same Realm as them? His power transcends reality but they will dissolve into Chaos without his presence. It is why our meetings occur in pocket dimensions."

"Very well," Percy conceded, "And the next meeting?"

Nyx shook her head minutely dissolving his hope, "They will not be at the next two meetings. Next is mine, then Tartarus and then Pontus' or yours I suppose. They will be at that meeting according to your vision."

He opened his mouth to ask but was told by Nyx, "My meeting shall be in ninety years. You can meet them in two-hundred and ninety years unless something perilous occurs. Which you shouldn't hope for. Have patience, Perseus. You have time to grow, use it. If you ever wish to brush up on your skills, we are here."

He hated the wisdom in her advice but decided to listen to her, more time to grow into himself could only be good. He was confused by how they were assisting his duties, "And how do you assist my Realm?"

Nyx and Tartarus did not speak, instead staring at each other, silently communicating, "Tell me," Percy insisted.

The Protogenoi of the Pit sighed weary, "As you wish. We can't explain everything to you yet as that would overwhelm you."

Percy interrupted, "But you have been doing this since you were borne. When even you had no experience."

"That may be true," Nyx agreed, "But the Universe was much younger then. As such our duties were lesser. You have two duties that we assist on, that you haven't learnt to do subconsciously fully yet. I can only tell you one for now, and once you have it under control, I'll tell you the other."

"The first is the very Galaxies that you observed upon the ceiling of our Council Room. It is not just pretty pictures but our own creations outside of the Milky Way. It is why we are so powerful. While not dependent on faith, our power spreads too wide for us to be forced to fade."

"Pontus' galaxy shown is the main one of many others. You need not worry about them due to the fact they are interconnected to the main one. The others are done subconsciously, but Chronos currently assists in the upkeep of the Primary Galaxy."

As she finished her lecture, Percy took a moment to comprehend the vastness of the Protogenoi and understand the difference between them and Primordials before clarifying, "And what resides within these galaxies?"

Tartarus took over the explanation, "Planets, Stars and the like. Technology, Gods who pledged their allegiance in service to Pontus,". He smirked at the widened eyes of the new Protogenoi of Water, "Come now, you did not think us limited to Gaea did you?"

Percy lamented the monstrous amount of responsibility he had taken but knew he'd have to return to the topic alone later. For now, he sufficed with asking, "And how does one access this place? I only know the alignment of its stars."

Nyx , "Soon, Chronos will call for you. As I have suggested, relax, Perseus. You are rushing yourself. Now return to your lover, Tartarus has been generous and allowed only a mortal day to pass," she smirked before extending her hand and with a wave he was gone.

The Protogenoi of Punishment sighed turning a questioning eye to Night, "Did you think that a wise decision? Informing him of this when he won't be able to access it for a while. He didn't even dodge forced teleportation. He is not accustomed to Protogenoi level fights. Especially solo fights."

Nyx lounged, "Both these responsibilities will follow one after another like a deck of falling cards. We need him to work harder. Once the first card falls, he'll realize what lies beneath the tablecloth the cards were stacked on."

They both were uncomfortable as the tension in the room built up, broken only by Tartarus' near silent whisper, "And if he isn't ready?"

A mirthless chuckle was his answer followed by the response he expected from the Protogenoi of Night, "Then this Universe is truly doomed."
