Alexandria knew when things were not going her way, she just had some sort of instinct tell her, something that, apparently was not that uncommon among veteran hero's. While she appreciated it, she mostly found it annoying, as while it has helped her many times in battle, it has never been the most... adaptable. She would say that it flares at the most unthreatening of threats. The drop of a knife, the horn of a car, the downpour of the rain, she could go on.

So, when she was out on a regular nightly patrol, her clone doing her, rather, annoying, and distasteful duties that was directing the PRT headquarters in the decrepit town that was Brockton Bay. Her instincts flared warning her of supposed impending danger, while not the most trustful of instincts, she did, however, look around her surrounding area, looking for the threat her instincts warned her about.

But as usual, she found nothing, no one was around that even gave off the sniff of doing anything that would concern her, or any other hero for that matter.

Her musings were interrupted by a flash of thunder from the clouds above, their grey musty looking fog, darkening. Flashes of gold like lightning sparked across the clouds surface, covering the sky in a golden glow. The sound of rumbling thunder could be heard, deafening the surrounding people, even her.

Causing the crowd to look up towards the sky, in increasing fear. She somehow felt pity towards those dumbfounded masses, seemingly to never before seen something like this.

It could be possible that they had never seen lightning before, she guessed.

The thunder, rumbled once more, but with a spark of gold like lightning threateningly zipping towards the grounds, almost like it was getting ready to strike.

That did not concern her, she has seen lightning strikes before, what concerned her was the humongous 3 headed serpentine like silhouette that followed. The light from the thunder seemed to encase its form, making it visible through the dark thunder ridden clouds.

Wings flapped, casually keeping it up within the sky, their movements increasing the winds, making the nearby trees sway ruffly. Signs not rigidly attached came loose and flew freely through the skies.

The crowds on the streets ran, screaming, terrified by the humongous creature that was in the skies above them. They followed end bringer protocols on instinct, going towards the city bunkers.

The creature witnessed this, its three heads looking down upon them, like a god would a mortal. With an almost sneer like scoff, electricity bubbled within their throats, making them glow gold. Within seconds, beams of electricity flew. No, more like slithered, she thought, through the air and impacted the ground.

Evaporating crowds of evacuating people within seconds, their remains nowhere to be found.

Alexandira, shock evaporated by the screams of the dying crowd, quickly so as not to also be caught by the deadly blow, flew high up into the sky, just high enough to be within the creature's line of sight, but far enough away that the screams could no longer be heard.

Wha-

Her thought was interrupted by a beam of electricity heading her way, with skill and a loop, she dodged it easily. But that was not all, within seconds another beam was headed her way, with a burst of speed she evaded the continuous shots. Calling for backup in the processes

This was not what she thought her day would be like, she mused grimly, as another beam was sent her way. Not able to dodge in time, the beam connected, blasting her, or more like sending her flying meters away, shattering through buildings all the while. Wooden, and stone debris getting sent flying in all directions.

Dust particles, their contaminated spores messing up and dirtying her costume, causing her to cough.

Damn beast, she gritted internally.

That thought was quickly shoved, or more accurately shattered, as the End bringer sirens flared.

its loud, and annoying sound recognizable to all who heard it. People who did not know there was a battle going on, went outside, packaged clothes and spare supplies in hand, and quickly left for the bunkers.

She, however, realized something far too late to intervene. With crowds rushing towards the bunkers, their rears exposed to the flying reptile, that said reptile could easily disintegrate them, just like he did earlier.

With renewed haste, she pushed aside the wooden plank resting casually on her torso, and flew back into the sky, beaming towards the beast.

But before she could even land a solid punch on one of the beast's heads, she was slapped, literally slapped away by its wings. The force of said slap, causing her tumble through the air, until finally, she found balance. Her face was red, not only from the slap from the reptile, but also from the humiliation.

The left head of the beast, the one with seemingly nothing to do but stare, laughed at her. Laughed. Its scaled cheeks tilted upwards in some sort of mock smile, sparks of electricity coming out of its mouth, almost like spittle.

She fumed. How dare he, how dare this... beast, mock her. HER. One of the strongest of the trimuvite, how dare he.

With a quick burst of speed, almost entirely fueled by her newfound anger. She rushed the beast, dodging the swipe from one of its spike like tails, and with a good twist and a midair lunge she punched the closest heads neck, causing it to whine and smack into the side of the middle head, basically causing it to lose balance and fall to the ground.

The ground, not able to withstand the weight of the creature, cracked underneath its weight.

Buildings died as it got its self-up right,

People were evaporated as it shot beams of electricity anywhere it could in its anger.

And with a roar of mock fury, its call echoing throughout the lightning charged air, blinding light erupted from its body. Blinding Alexandira in the process, who fell back after it fell from the sky, and killing nearby masses in the prosses.

And with a swish, Alexandria felt a burst of unexpected pain, as she was grabbed by what felt like teeth. A stench so foul, so horrendous infiltrated her senses. And with a grunt of concealed pain, she tried to pry the beast's maw open, hoping to escape its grasp. But all was for not, as even as he opened it up an inch it was immediately closed, quite forcefully she might add. And she was pushed inside.

But with the beast's maw closed, she was once again trapped, but this time not by its teeth, but by its tongue as it forcefully tried to swallow her within the depths of its throat.

For some, this may seem like a hopeless situation, but to her, it was but another battle of survival. She has to do this all the time, and still does, when an endbringer arrives.

While she would not know if the beast, she is fighting would be called an endbringer, it certainly was strong.

Her thoughts were interrupted, when, by some sort of unnatural luck, the beasts tongue wrapped around her legs, covering her in more of its horrendous saliva, and then proceeded to spit her out.

With a scoff of disdain for the beast, she flew in the air, ready to fight once again.

It left me free, what a stupid thing to do. She thought, her eyes squinted in a concealed form of disdain mixed with a triumphant feeling of success.

But her feelings were quickly crushed when she realized the beast's plan. The middle head, seeming to recognize her own recognition of his plan, chuckled. And with a mighty inhale, the beast let out a simple but mighty spark of electricity.

The spark, so far, but yet so close, ignited the seemingly horrendous smelling mucus covering her entire body, and with a scream of pain not known for Alexandria, she fell from the sky, unconscious. With the sounds of hero's arriving at the scene.

...

Legend, steps but a simple jog, arrived at the scene. Dust and excess debris from felled buildings parted from his path, his seemingly impossible speeds blinding his fellow hero's. Behind his unassuming mask, its blue color scheme, darkening under the heavy rain. Lay squinted eyes, filled with a terrifying glint of underlying rage.

Legend may be one of the more... attractive members of the trimuvite, and therefore having an underlying reputation of being the happy, go-getting, fun-loving hero. Seeming to always be there to get an autograph or a picture, if a civilian so liked.

The truth, however, was someways farther from the truth. He did his job well; his fun-loving eyes could turn cold and calculating with but the click of a metaphorical mental button.

So, when news arrived of a monster, reported by Alexandria herself, stating she would be engaging said monster, seeming to arrive within the coastal areas of the eastern edge of the Americas, a place well known to be patrolled regularly by the said hero. He did not so much as flinch, just thinking it a possible Case 53.

But not long after, when the endbringer sirens sounded, alerting Legend and Eidolon of a possible endbringer threat, closely located to where Alexandria said she was engaging the supposed case 53. Concerns were raised.

He was practically the first one out the door, and the first to leave, but he was also the first one to return. Forgot his mask.

That all happened within seconds, not even noticed by others.

And with great speed he arrived quite quickly at the scene.

So, that was how he arrived at this... devastating of a scene. Infront of him lay buildings, there brick shells lay broken, crumbled beneath forces of unknown strength. The roads, once paved smoothly, old as they may be, now lay broken.

Blood lay pooling near crevices, dying the cement red in its scarlet liquid haze.

Limbs, seeming to be torn off of their owners lay splattered across the roads, their organic owners nowhere to be found.

With a curious eye, he looked further towards the center of the destruction.

Gigantic footprints of massive proportions were seen, their forms resembling a reptile's, mixed with a little bit of birds. The footprints lay scattered throughout the area, seemingly to be in no discernable order. Appearing in random spots almost as if it could teleport, or possibly fly, indicated by the avian like footprints.

Nothing more than theories, he thought, casually scorning himself in the processes.

His thoughts were interrupted by a scream of unfiltered pain, its voice feminine and familiar. Looking towards where whence it came, his body could only freeze in shock. His once casual face, filled with horror. And before he knew it, he was off, not listening to his fellow hero's concerns.

Before his eyes, lay a falling Alexandira, her body all but burnt to a crisp. Her exposed skin, once so pure, and full of remaining youthful vigor, was now so red it could be nought but flames.

With a forceful jump, cracking the crumbled cement beneath his feat, he caught the falling hero. His hands wrapped around her so gently, he thought he was without powers.

And with a graceful fall, he held her close, seeming to try and protect her from the dispersed dust and debris from him hitting the ground.

But before he could even bring her to safety, the monster, completely ignored by legend until now, sprung to action. Its long, seemingly weak wings unfolded from their hunched like position, and with little effort, electrified their wings.

And with no warning, brought them down with a swipe.

Knocking legend away, Alexandria still held in his arms.

Tumbling through the air as he was, he did not notice the absolute bloodshed that ensued not that long afterwards.

Rodking deceased

Venus deceased

Jugg deceased...

On and on it went, almost deafening him with how loud the deceased notifications were.

And with a crash and a bang, he landed, hard.

Dirt practically exploded from the ground in fear, their residents, the ants, dying in process. Their unheard insect like screams, fell on deaf ears.

Getting up was difficult, but he managed. And with a gentle slump, he placed Alexandria down, covering her in a spare blanket that he conveniently found resting not that far from him.

Carefully so as not to irritate his injured hand, that he now just realized was there. He activated his comms unit and called for a med evac, hoping he could still join the fight and also not care for the injured Alexandria.

He received no response.
