Hey everyone, MagmaKyuubi here with a new fic.

Here is the fic I promised you, and sorry for taking a bit too long. It's really hot where I am, and I can only write when it gets dark. Anyways, I will stop the polls for Naruto: Monster Gamer and start working on what I promised for it.

Author's Notes at the end of the chapter.

I don't own My Hero Academia or Ben 10. The alien descriptions are mainly from the Ben 10 Wiki.

Chapter 1: I have a QUIRK!

It all began in the town of Qing Qing, China, with news of the birth of a mysterious luminescent baby! Shortly thereafter, similar phenomena popped up all over the world. The trigger for these newfound powers was never determined, but as time progressed, what was once extraordinary became ordinary and dreams became reality!

Of the planet's population, currently around 80% have developed unique abilities or individualities, called Quirks! Humanity has entered a new age, an age of superhumans! In this world whirling in chaos, a certain profession that people used to aspire to only in daydreams, has stepped into the light of day!

A monstrous kaiju like creature, with dreadlocks on its head, and wearing pants and a torn-up shirt, was rampaging at Tatooine Station in the middle of the city.

"GO AWAY!" the monster shouted at the figure fighting it.

This figure was much smaller, the size of a regular human being, but what was odd about it was that it was made of wood. This was Kamui Woods, a rising hero who showed up to take down the rampaging villain. However, this story isn't about him, rather it revolves around a young schoolboy who just arrived at the crowd watching the fight.

"Whoa, Monster Form, what a quirk! What's going on?" The young boy asked one of the watching bystanders.

"The big guy tried to snatch and grab and when he got cornered, he went berserk." was the reply he received.

The boy had dark green hair, bordering on black, with big round eyes. He had four freckles in a diamond pattern under each eye, which was one of his most distinguishing features. He was rather small, a bit of a twig really, but he was excited to watch the fight. His name is Midoriya Izuku.

"I'm sorry sir, a villain appeared out of nowhere and smashed the train... I don't know when I can get to work..." A salaryman in a suit was telling his boss over the phone.

"WOOO! Go get him, Kamui!" A group of fangirls cheered on.

"Who is he fighting?" Izuku asked the same guy who answered him, but he got his answer once he got a better look.

"You're charged with unlawful use of your quirk during commuting hours, as well as battery and robbery. Stand down, you big lump of evil!" Kamui proclaimed at the villain, since with the rise of quirks came new laws that governed them. The most prominent is that quirks can't be used in public unless you have special dispensation, one that was for the most part only given to professional heroes.

"It's Kamui Woods. So that's the rising hero star!" Izuku shouted excitedly.

"Whoa, you sure love providing exposition, don't you. You a Hero-Otaku!?" A man standing next to him asked.

"Oh, hehe, I uhh..." Izuku just blushed and stammered, but was cut off as the battle reached its climax.

"Here's your punishment" Kamui told the villain, as his right arm began to grow and turn into a mass of wooden tendrils. His quirk Arbor allowed him to generate and control wood from any part of his body.

"Show us your best move, tree guy!" A watcher in the crowd exclaimed.

"Ah! Here it comes! His ultimate Preemptive Strike..." Izuku exclaimed and began shouting out the attack's name along with Kamui.

"Lacquer Chain Prison!" Kamui shouted as several tendrils of wood shot out at the villain.

"CANYON CANNON!" was suddenly heard and following it was a massive leg that kicked the villain in the face. A new heroine had come out of nowhere and took down the villain just as Kamui's attack was going to take him down.

The crowd was rather surprised, but soon began cheering. As the heroine posed and showed her latex covered ass to them, the photographers began clamouring for photos. Her suit wasn't really made of latex, rather some unknown fabric that could stretch with her quirk, but it was skintight and showed nearly everything.

"This villain really suits my formal debut!" she began telling the crowd, "My name is Mount Lady! Pleasure to meet you and leave the rest to me!"

When quirks first appeared, an increase in crime levels soon followed. While nations dawdled in making any sort of radical change to the law, men and women of courage took inspiration from comics and donned the mantle of heroism! They began policing this brave new world and defending innocents from evil!

Suddenly, through the swell of public opinion, Heroism gained rights as an official occupation. Due to their various acts of meritorious service, they obtained income form the state and renown from the people.

"Gigantification, huh... as a quirk, it's fairly likely to attract attention and popularity, but isn't it also somewhat limiting since it'd be easier to inadvertently damage the city while of the job? Of course, that'd be moot if one could control one's size." Izuku began to mutter rapidly as he wrote into a notebook he pulled out.

"You're taking notes!? Aiming to be a hero? Nice! Good luck kid!" The man, while initially surprised at the speed of Izuku's muttering, encouraged him regardless.

"Yes sir! I'll do my best!" Izuku smiled with a small blush on his cheeks, but as he looked at the time he shouted out in surprise. "Oh no! I'm going to be late to school!"

Later in the day, Izuku is returning home upset and depressed. He had just gotten told off by a couple of heroes for rushing into danger. All he wanted to do was go home, take a shower and sleep. In a different world, he would be stopped by Bakugo, a former childhood friend turned bully, who would shout at him that he didn't need to be saved. Izuku would also meet All Might again and be offered the vaunted power of One For All.

Perhaps Izuku was simply a fast walker in this world, or maybe destiny had other plans for him. Maybe it was the actions of a meddlesome individual who liked to change things up every now and then.

Regardless of the reason, Izuku got home, still upset about everything that happened that day. He was told that he should be realistic by the top hero in the world, but despite that Izuku just couldn't give up on his dreams. It was a part of his identity at this point, a fixture of who he is.

Getting back home, Izuku was greeted by his mother who was incredibly worried about him after seeing the news coverage of the sludge villain. Hugging him until he almost popped, he told her he wasn't hungry and that he just wanted to shower and go to sleep. Inko, that's her name, wanted to ask what was wrong when she saw how upset he looked, but knowing he won't say anything from years of experience caused her not to.

The next day, Izuku slept in late, his mother not waking him up since he didn't need to go to school. He was given a couple days off since he was involved in a villain attack, and with the weekend he had quite a bit of free time. After having breakfast alone and reading the note his mother left him about his days off, he spent the rest of the morning just looking up the new heroine who debuted the day before.

He was a massive hero otaku after all, and he enjoyed watching them and researching their achievements and powers. He didn't notice when his mother came back from her job, and only realized this when she knocked on his door and told him lunch was ready. He had fallen into the rabbit hole that was the internet, and somehow found himself reading an article about an American hero who had his entire skeleton coated with some kind of metal.

Turning his computer off, he went to eat lunch with his mother, and he was feeling quite a bit better from yesterday. He wasn't really sure why, but he felt lighter somehow like a weight was lifted off his back. Maybe a good night's sleep really does make everything better, thought Izuku as he ate the fish prepared by his mother.

"So, how was your day?"

"Fine. I just researched some things on the internet."

"Heroes?" his mother asked him teasingly, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah. I was looking up this heroine who made her debut yesterday. Her quirk lets her grow in size, but it doesn't look like she can control it." Izuku happily chatted with his mother, not really sensing the teasing tone in her voice.

"Oh? I think I saw her on the news yesterday. Her name's Mount Lady, right? She's really pretty, don't you think? I mean you spent the entire morning looking at pictures and videos of her."

"WHAT! What kind of question is that?" Izuku blushed as he stammered for a bit, almost choking on his food while his mother giggled at his embarrassment.

"I'm just teasing you honey, hehe. That's a nice watch, did you get it yesterday?" His mother asked him, having noticed a watch on his left wrist.

"Watch? I didn't buy anything yesterday; I don't think I even have a watch."

"Well, what's that on your wrist?"

Looking at his hands, he only then noticed the watch like device on his left arm. The device resembles a digital wristwatch. Its faceplate is square and has a white, green, and black colour scheme. The faceplate is black with two green stripes forming an outline for the hourglass.

Yelping in surprise, he tried to take it off but when he touched it something amazing happened. A holographic ring with what seemed to be head icons displayed within it.

"A hologram projector? I've heard those are really expensive, did you steal it? I thought I raised you better than that." His mother continued to tease him, since she knew her son didn't have a bad bone in his body. She did wonder where the watch, or whatever this was, came from.

"What! Mom I would never steal anything, and..." When Izuku looked at her accusingly to protect himself and saw her trying to hide her snickers with her hand, his rant fell short. Still not sure what the object on his wrist was, since it clearly didn't show time, Izuku began pulling on it to try and remove it, but it wouldn't budge. It was like this object was part of his body, and even trying to slide it off his hand did nothing. Eventually, his hand slipped while trying to get the watch off, his fingers hitting the faceplate.

Something truly spectacular occurred when that happened. Izuku started glowing a bright green, so bright that Inko had to cover her eyes. His green body started to grow taller and change shape. When Inko opened her eyes again, what she saw caused her to scream in shock and then faint.

"MOM!" Izuku shouted just as she started to fall, and somehow managed to get out of his chair and rush towards her, catching her before she could hit the ground. This all happened in an instant, but he didn't notice as he laid her on the ground and started to check up on her.

It didn't take long for her to wake up, but when she saw what was above her, she froze in complete surprise. Izuku worried about his mother, tried asking her what was wrong. This seemed to snap her out of her shock, as she stuttered out "Izuku? Is that you?"

"Of course it's me. Who else would it be?"

"But you're all blue and black and furry!"

"What are you talking about? I'm not blue or furry." Izuku exclaimed, as he brought up his hands to show her that. When he saw that his hands were covered in bright blue fur, he froze in shock. As if on autopilot, he moved towards a nearby mirror and saw in the reflection a feline-like creature with a black suit-like colour scheme, and his hands, legs, chest, and part of his head are coloured blue. He has black mask-like fins around his green eyes, a triangle-shaped nose, a thunderbolt-like design down his chest, and a triangle one down his back. His clothes hid most of his body, and he also has spike-like blades on his arms and legs.

"I guess that is me." Izuku softly said after he waved his arms around and saw that the creature in the mirror mimicked his actions. After making that remark, he fainted and fell on his back.

Seeing her son, despite his new appearance, fainting caused Inko to quickly rush towards him to make sure he's okay. She was surprised by the bright green flash that blinded her and when she could see again, she noticed that Izuku was back to normal.

She quickly carried him to the couch, never happier that he was quite thin and light. Making sure he was comfortable, she quickly made herself some tea to relax a bit. While she sat on a nearby sofa, she began thinking about what happened and how Izuku could have transformed.

"Mom? What happened, and why am I on the couch?" Izuku asked his mother as he eventually came to.

"You don't remember?" Inko asked him in surprise, "You turned into a tall black and blue cat."

"That wasn't a weird dream!" Izuku exclaimed to his mother as he looked at his body and saw that he looked normal. "But I look normal. Are you playing a prank on me? Did I talk when I was sleeping?"

"No, Izuku, I'm not playing a joke on you. Look at your left wrist if you want, we were talking about that weird watch before you somehow transformed."

Looking at his left wrist, expecting for there to be nothing there, he saw the watch his mother mentioned. Figuring out the question that her son was going to ask, she told him that after he fainted, he glowed green and transformed back to normal.

"I glowed green? Why?"

"Well, when you transformed the first time, you glowed green, I guess they're connected."

"But... how did I transform? I mean..." Izuku was confused, seemingly refusing to even think about the obvious answer.

"Honey, I think it might be your quirk." Inko told him gently, since she knew it was a sensitive topic for him.

"But I don't have one. I have the toe joint and everything!" Izuku almost shouted. His entire life changed the moment he found out he didn't have a quirk. He wasn't ashamed of being quirkless. It wasn't like he was treated any different by most people, but it made his dream be just that.

He's always wanted a quirk, constantly wishing for one when he was younger and had it been a few days earlier he would have been ecstatic. After the events of yesterday, it just made him confused and angry.

"Honey, are you ok?" Inko asked her son, upon seeing how upset he was.

"I don't know. I mean, how? And why now?"

"I don't know, but how about I book an appointment with the quirk doctor. Maybe then we'll find some answers."

"I guess, but it's not the same one, is it?" Izuku asked hoping it was a different doctor.

"Of course not, that doctor was a horrible human being. He should have at least tried to give the news gently; I thought about using my quirk to pull out my teeth after what he did." Inko reassured her son. It wasn't the news that angered her, but the lackadaisical, if not sadistic, manner in which the doctor gave the information. "How about you try and see what it can do while I call and make an appointment for tomorrow. Maybe you can start analysing it, I know you love breaking quirks down and analysing them."

That made Izuku smile, as she hit the nail right on the head, since analysing quirks, and heroes in general, was something he always enjoyed doing. Getting up to get a notebook for his notes, and he got a new one since he figured his own quirk deserved its own notebook. Finding an unopened gumball on his desk, he was slightly surprised.

"Did I buy this yesterday and just forget about it?" Izuku wondered aloud, before shrugging and popping it into his mouth and started to chew it. Returning to the couch, he tried to remember how he got the watch to make the hologram. He tried pressing on it with his fingers and to his surprise that simple movement worked, and the ring hologram showed up.

Taking notes in his notebook, Izuku also drew the faces present on the ring and looking at the head icons on the ring he noticed that one of them looked a lot like he did when he transformed into the blue and black cat.

"Does that icon let me transform into that form?" Izuku wondered as he jotted down a few notes, while drawing the icons present, which were five. "Wait, if that icon lets me transform into the blue cat, what do the others do? Do they transform me into other things?"

Shaking his head and deciding to focus on what he currently knows, which is the blue feline form. Thinking about his brief experience transformed, he realized that he managed to catch his mother before she hit the ground. That shouldn't be possible with his normal speed, so he jotted down that super speed might be a possible ability. After writing a few more notes and drawing a basic sketch of what he remembers, his mother returned to the living room.

"I made an appointment with a highly regarded quirk doctor. It's tomorrow and it's early, so you'll have to make sure to not stay up late." Inko admonished her son lightly, knowing his habit of falling down rabbit holes while researching things.

"Sure," he replied, before then asking her "but how did you get an appointment so early?"

"The doctor actually just had a cancellation. Apparently, there was a mix-up with the times, so he's free first thing tomorrow morning. Did you learn anything yet?"

"Actually, yeah. I can activate the hologram by tapping the faceplate, but I haven't tried transforming yet because I didn't want to surprise you. Also, I think that blue cat form I turned into might have super speed, because I managed to get up from my chair, run towards you and catch you as you started to fall."

"That's really cool, anything else?"

"I think I might be able to transform into several forms. I'm not too sure about that, but the fact that this icon here," and Izuku pointed to the one resembling the speedy feline, "looks a lot like what I transformed into, then the others might be different forms."

"Well, what are you waiting for, try one out." Inko encouraged him, neither of them realizing that maybe one of those forms could be massive in size.

Izuku got up and using his right hand he carefully brought it to the watch, and looking at the hologram he realized that the middle icon was seemingly selected. However, the icon wasn't that of the fast feline, but what seemed to be a cyclops with two tentacles ending in plugs.

Izuku was rather confused at the image, but something clicked in his head. He tried to rotate the wheel to the fast feline and to his amazement it worked. The wheel rotated and to his surprise new head icons showed up. Hurrying to his notebook he began drawing them, while his mother looked on in confusion.

"I thought you were going to transform?"

"I was, but I was testing something out and I can move this wheel here to select which form I want. I initially thought I had five, but after cycling through it several times there seems to be ten forms I can take."

"Well, just pick one and transform. I'm sure you're bursting to try it out." Inko chuckled at seeing Izuku trying to restrain his excitement to write down some of his thoughts and ideas.

Smiling, Izuku put down his notebook and stood in the centre of the room and selected the cyclops with plug tendrils. Before pressing down on the faceplate, an idea came to him, and he asked his mother to record his transformation so he could see what happens. Once he saw her start recording, he pressed down on the faceplate, and he began transforming.

The transformation was instantaneous, even shorter than half a second, as his body was flooded with the green energy that caused it to morph into a different form. The shirt he was wearing got ripped as his upper body became broader and he got taller. The resulting transformation had a black body with one green eye in the middle of his head, two antennae and a tail with round plugs on their tips, four-fingered hands, and feet with only two front toes. His chest is green and the plugs on his fingers were squared. He also has gold battery bolts on his shoulders, arms, and hips. Most interestingly he had a small circular device in the middle of his chest that had an hourglass symbol on it.

"Woah!" Izuku exclaimed as he realized he was significantly taller, "I'm tall."

"You were taller as the other one too."

"Really? Maybe I didn't notice because I was initially sitting and was then too focused on what was happening that I didn't notice."

"So, what do you think this one's powers are? The last one could apparently move super-fast."

"Based on the appearance of these plugs, I think maybe something with electricity. Maybe I can absorb it, hmm..."

"Izuku Midoriya, don't even think of plugging your tentacle hair or tail into the outlet. Didn't I already tell you when you were a kid not to put your fingers in them!"

"I wasn't planning on..." Izuku's retort died down when he saw his mother's gaze and he pouted, "but this form can probably absorb electricity, I won't get hurt."

"What if you're wrong? If you push this, I'll have you stop trying out your quirk until we go to the doctor's tomorrow. Understood?"

"Yeah, okay, okay." Izuku placated his mother, and looking at his body, he noticed that his shirt got torn, "Also, maybe we should wait for tomorrow to try out any of the others. This form caused me to ruin my shirt, what if one of the others is even bigger or heavier. I'll just find out what the two I already tried can do."

"There's my responsible little baby!"

"MOM!"

Inko just chuckled at his whining and asked him if he wanted some tea. Once he agreed, she told him to wait for a few minutes while she cleans up the table and prepares some more tea. It took longer than a few minutes since she decided she may as well do the dishes, but on the way back she found a couple of batteries that she figured Izuku could try testing his new form's powers with.

When she returned, she was surprised to see Izuku in his normal form writing or sketching something in his notebook. Asking him what happened, he replied that he figured his transformations might be on a timer and when it runs out, he returns to normal.

"What about when you fell unconscious?"

"Maybe it returns me to normal then too, but I'm not too sure why. I can't actually think of a reason why it's like that." Izuku mumbled the last few words to himself as he began to brainstorm reasons why he transforms back to normal when he falls unconscious.

"So, why haven't you transformed back, I'd have thought you would want to try out your new quirk more."

"Oh, I tried, but the watch has a cooldown period. I think, here see what it's showing now." He showed her how it was giving him a warning symbol when he accessed the selection list, and he was currently timing how long the cooldown is.

Before their very eyes the alert blinked out of existence and was replaced by the default wheel. Quickly stopping the timer, Izuku noted down that it takes one minute for the watch to cooldown. Wanting to test out how long each transformation lasts; he took out his phone and gave it to his mother.

"Can you record how long I stay transformed? Oh, and can you record my transformation this time too? I want to see if different forms have different transformations, and can you then send me the videos?" Izuku quickly asked his mother and after she processed what he said she agreed.

Selecting the fast cat, Izuku really wanted a better way to refer to them, and there was a nagging feeling in the back of his mind to give them names. He shelved that idea for a while and pressed down.

This time Izuku tried to keep his eyes open, but literally a flash of green was all that he saw and looking down, he saw that he had transformed into the speedster cat. He frowned, since he was getting tired of just calling them that. Izuku felt like they deserved more, and referring to them by name would be easier and more fun.

"What are you frowning about honey?"

"I was just getting annoyed at having to refer to my forms as the fast cat, blue cat or plug cyclops. I was thinking of giving them names, make them feel more personal. I can't really explain it, it's like some part of me can't stand calling them generic names. Am I sounding crazy?"

"A superhero otaku who wants to name his various transformations, how surprising?" Inko mocked him teasingly. This caused both to laugh a bit, although Izuku was slightly embarrassed at the casual mentioning of his not so hidden interests. "So, what names do you have in mind?"

"I'm not sure yet. I want to give them a name that fits their powers and appearance."

"Like superheroes?"

"Yeah!" Izuku exclaimed happily, it seemed his mother guessed why he was bothered with their generic names. A hero fanboy like himself loved all aspects of heroics, including the names they choose. Some are simple, representing their powers or appearance, others have deeper meanings, to their personalities and goals. There are those that mix these things, choosing names that will forever be etched into people's minds when they think of what a hero represents.

Before he could choose names for them, he had to find out their abilities. He knew that his current transformation had super speed, so he tried to run to his room to get a couple colouring pencils. He didn't think about the fact that he just got his new powers and would have relatively little if any control over them, so when he tried to slow down to open his door, he failed and slammed into it. It's a good thing he tried slowing down otherwise he would've broken through his door, but the result was that he knocked himself out, again.

Upon hearing a heavy smack and then a thud, Inko quickly got up and found Izuku laying on the ground, in his normal form, with a small bruise on his head. Carrying him once more to the couch, she had to catch her breath after placing him down, and she promised to start exercising, at least a little.

Waiting on her son to wake up, again, she made sure to get some headache medicine, a new shirt and continued to drink her tea. Eventually, after a longer rest than last time, Izuku woke up with a pounding headache.

"Ugh! What hit me?"

"A door."

"What?" Izuku asked as he brought his hand to his head but yelped in pain at touching the sore spot where he hit the door.

"When you tried to run with super speed, you hit the door and knocked yourself out. Also, what have I told you about running in the house?"

"Not to." Izuku muttered as he took the headache medicine with some water to relieve the pounding headache he was feeling.

"Also, another new rule, no testing out quirks in the apartment. It's something we should have realized, but I guess we were excited about your new quirk. Tomorrow, you can test it all out at the doctor's, I was told they have a bunch of equipment for testing a lot of different quirks."

"I guess that's fair." Izuku muttered, slightly upset, but he realized what she was saying made sense. He then spotted the intact shirt and realized he'd been without one for a while. Blushing slightly, he hurriedly put it on, before asking his mother if she sent him the videos of his transformations. Receiving a confirmation, he opened his phone and played the videos but to his disappointment he learned nothing.

All the videos showed was an instant flash of green and then Izuku changing forms between. He tried to slow the video down, but even then, he couldn't learn anything about his transformation. Figuring the doctor might have a better idea and better technology to understand how he transforms, he decided to go back to naming his current two forms.

Starting with the one he had more information one, he paused the video at various points as he sketched how this form looked in his notebook. He noted how it already had the appearance of a superhero, with its patterned fur.

'So, a name that fits something that's fast. I could go with cheetah, they're the fastest land animal and they're also cats like this form. No, I don't look anything like a cheetah while transformed and it would just be confusing. Anything faster than a cheetah is a machine, but that wouldn't work either.' Izuku thought as he tapped his pencil on the edge of his notebook, 'Maybe, I should think more generally, like concepts of speed. Light is the fastest thing we know off, but it also gives the impression that I have light-based powers. Velocity, acceleration and kinetic, well maybe, but I'll have to figure out how to implement them into a name. What else is fast?'

Looking up various terms related to speed on his phone, he ended up reading an article about jets and how they can cause sonic booms when reaching max speeds. 'Sonic boom? No, but I'm on the right track. Sonic refers to anything relating to sound, which now that I think about it is extremely fast. Sonic is also that pre-quirk fictional character, what was he again?'

Looking up sonic online, it took Izuku a few minutes to find the pre-quirk fictional figure. Looking at the blue speedster, Izuku knew he had a winner. 'Sonic is definitely the way to go, but the name sounds so short, at least for this form. It needs something, Subsonic, no that means slower than sound. What's the opposite of that, it's probably something like ultrasonic, hypersonic. No, those aren't right, maybe Supersonic? That one rolls off the tongue easily and it sounds really cool. I can also just shorten it to Sonic when I need to, but I doubt I will have to.'

Moving onto the other transformation, Izuku sketched him out using the video his mother recorded. He was surprised his vision didn't suffer with having one eye but figured maybe with its size it compensated. He didn't get to experiment with it but figured some small experiments with some of the batteries his mother brought couldn't hurt. Asking her for permission, just so he could confirm that this form had powers related to electricity, she reluctantly agreed to his request.

Turns out he was right; he was easily able to absorb the electricity within the batteries, and he realized he could also release that electricity after letting out a few sparks from the plugs on his fingers. He wasn't going to do that in the apartment, but he had this idea, or instinct would be more appropriate, that he could multiply the electricity absorbed and release it in greater amounts. He didn't think he was restricted to always needing to absorb electricity, but he could test that tomorrow.

Looking up various terms often used in electricity, after he transformed back to normal, Izuku began thinking about which one would fit best. 'Things like volt, or amp or shocker are basic, and I don't mean simple, but just bad basic. This feedback thing I read about is very similar to what this form does, and it sounds really good too. I'll put it as my top choice if I don't find anything else.'

He used his large knowledge of heroes to cross reference which other terms have been used, since he might be okay taking inspiration from a fictional character, but he wasn't going to rip off a hero's name. Unfortunately, this caused him to cross off a number of promising names from his list. 'Shame, some of these were really cool sounding. Overload, Livewire, Black Lightning and Blackout are all cool names that would have worked well. I mean Feedback is still at the top, so it's not like it's a consolation prize. A term that perfectly fits the abilities of my transformation, what a coincidence.'

Writing down the names he chose for the transformations above his sketches of them, he felt quite happy and couldn't wait for tomorrow to test out all his transformations and what they could do.

Wanting to test a few more things about his quirk, Izuku wanted to measure how long each transformation lasts. They sort of forgot to stop the timer and he figured he might as well test it out now. Transforming into Supersonic, since that from wouldn't tear his shirt apart, he quickly started the timer and waited. After a while, he had gotten several measurements, and he figured that each transformation lasts for around ten minutes and has a minute of cooldown.

He also wanted to see what the symbol on his chest does, since it was present on both of his forms, and pressing on it caused him to transform back to normal. He wondered how useful something like that is, but the cooldown was much shorter afterwards. That was a useful thing to know, but he wasn't sure whether his intent played a role in it. Further testing let him know that if he didn't want to transform back to normal then he wouldn't.

He did wonder if he could switch between transformations and to his surprise he managed to switch between Feedback and Supersonic. This did have a downside, since after checking the measurements, he realized switching decreased the time he remained transformed.

Finishing up on the couch, Izuku gathered his notebooks and headed to his room. He wanted to finish colouring in the transformations, but as he laid the books on his desk, he began wondering about the what the tests he'll do tomorrow will be like.

They will be figuring out his quirk, his very own quirk. As he thought those words, his line of thought began heading towards some uncomfortable reflections. 'I know I might learn why my quirk showed up now of all times, I mean can quirks show up after four. I never checked, maybe I just didn't want to hope, but that's stupid. I always hoped and wished for one to appear. I didn't want to lose that tiny bit of hope left inside me. Did it unlock as some form of karmic reward for saving Kacchan yesterday? Because I didn't do it for a reward, I mean I'm not refusing it oh powerful quirk gifting force of the universe.'

Pausing for a few moments to think over what he just thought, Izuku chuckled for a bit. 'Man, thinking about this stuff really messes me up. Is there any point at wondering why and to just be thankful. I mean even All Might said to be realistic. It's like he said I couldn't be a hero.'

Pausing for a few moments as he tried to remember what All Might told him, 'He said something about how he can't bring himself to tell me that I can become a hero without a quirk. UGH! Why is this bothering me so much? Is it because I look up to him, even after he didn't tell me what I needed to hear? Is it because he never said I couldn't? Is it because I saved Kacchan yesterday and was admonished by some heroes for doing their jobs? I was getting scolded while he was being praised for what, making their jobs more difficult!'

Izuku was now angry, for the first time in a long time or perhaps the first time he's let those bubbling thoughts rise to the surface. 'I mean all he had to do was stop using his quirk for a few seconds. Kamui could've then rescued him from the sludge. If he didn't go straight to blasting everything, the fires wouldn't have started, and Backdraft could've washed the villain away instead of having to focus on the fires. And I know what he's going to say the next time we meet; he's going to shout how he didn't need the help from a 'deku' and that he could've beat that sludge villain.'

Punching his pillow a few times, before planting his face into it and screaming silently. Izuku felt exhausted, the emotions he felt, even during this short rant, drained him. He didn't know what to do, he was scared. He feared confronting Kacchan and telling him that if he didn't save his sorry ass, he would've died. That he couldn't beat the villain, he couldn't even escape. All he did was make things harder for everyone, like usual.

Not sure where that last thought came from, Izuku shook his head. Now wasn't the time for these thoughts, he should be happy. He now has a quirk, a really versatile one if nothing else. To Izuku, those types were among the best, because they're generally the best for helping in all kinds of situations. Supersonic could easily stop purse snatchers and car robbers, Feedback would more than counter any electric villains and he wondered what other forms he might have. Maybe a super strong brawler that could take down even the toughest villains, a flying form that saves falling people, a size changer that could rescue cats from trees and many more.

Shaking his head to get rid of the daydreams, he found his colouring pencils and began filling in his sketches. Once he was done, he looked at the clock and saw that it was nearing dinner time. Putting his notebooks away, Izuku decided to at least do some studying, so he doesn't fall behind in his studies.

After eating dinner with his mother, Izuku just relaxed on his bed watching today's footage of heroes taking down villains and rescuing people in danger. Eventually he began yawning and he put away his phone before falling asleep.

Waking up early the next morning, before his alarm even began ringing, Izuku was extremely excited to test out the rest of his transformations and find out more about his quirk. Performing his morning ablutions and eating breakfast with his mother. He was vibrating in his seat, very excited to learn more about his quirk.

They arrived twenty minutes before their appointment, so they had to wait in the waiting room. Izuku tried to busy himself reviewing some of the notes he made about his transformations, but there wasn't much so he ended up just looking around. He noticed an odd-looking cane leaning against the wall.

Looking at it closer, he didn't recognize what wood it was made from, but what drew his eye was its handle. It was spherical and made of gold, or at least he thought it was gold, and it had an odd looking inset. The inset looked like an eye, a squinting one, with a completely black iris and no pupil and its sclera was white. Taking a look at the clock on the wall to see how much time was left, he returned his gaze at the cane, but it was gone.

Looking around he saw that the receptionist was still reading her magazine, and he couldn't have looked away for more than a second. Rubbing his eyes a few times, Izuku just figured he imagined the cane and spent the rest of his time on his phone. After a small bit, the receptionist tells them that they can go see the doctor.

Upon entering the office, Izuku noticed that the doctor looked rather average. The only noticeable thing about him were the horns on his head, but in this era of superpowers, that was relatively tame. He introduced himself as Hayashi Sadao and had them take the seats in front of his desk.

"So, you mentioned over the phone that your son's quirk awakened?"

"Yes, I first noticed that he had a watch on his wrist, but when he tried taking it off, since he didn't have one, he ended up activating it and transforming." Izuku showed the doctor how he activated the holographic selection wheel, but he didn't transform and just deactivated it, something he discovered while messing around with it yesterday.

"Hmm, a late bloomer. They aren't the most common, but I've heard from colleagues of mine that it's becoming more and more common nowadays."

"Late bloomer, what do you mean by that sensei?" Izuku asked him, confused by the term.

"Your previous quirk doctor should have explained it. Basically, it means that you're quirk for some reason, won't activate till you're older. It can be anywhere from seven or eight, and I've heard from colleagues of mine about a man who awakened his quirk when he was forty."

"That other doctor told me I was quirkless. He didn't say anything about late bloomers."

"Quirkless? I mean several of the tests like gene mapping or even a complete blood test would have shown that you had a quirk." Sadao told Izuku as he began wondering what's going on.

"Umm, he didn't do any of those. He only took an x-ray of my foot and said I was quirkless because I have the second joint in my pinky toe." Izuku replied, getting slightly upset at remembering one of the most horrible events in his life.

"X-ray of your foot... I see" Sadao muttered to himself as he sighed, "I have some bad news to tell you, and it's that the doctor you went to was a quack at best."

"WHAT!" Izuku and his mother exclaimed loudly. After they apologized for their loud voices and Sadao waved it off, he explained how several tests, which were used to determine whether someone had a quirk or not, were debunked a long time ago.

"I mean they made no sense, had no scientific foundation and had many exceptions to them. I would really urge you to file a lawsuit for medical malpractice against this doctor."

Neither of the Midoriyas knew what to do, they just sat there frozen. The memory of what happened replaying itself in their minds. When Sadao asked if they're alright, that broke them out of their daymare, and they replied they're fine.

"Now, I'm sure you have some questions you want to ask me, and I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities."

"I only have one," Izuku began saying, his hand clenching around the watch, "why did my quirk only appear now?"

"Hmm, that's a difficult question to answer. The truth is we may never know. Without any tests from before it came, I can't give you a solid answer. Late bloomer quirks vary in why they come in late. The most famous of them are stockpile quirks, and as you might know they need time to build up whatever it is they store. With something like an energy stockpile, most kids wouldn't be able to produce much to fill it and likely wouldn't notice they had a quirk till much later in their lives." Taking a sip of water, the doctor continued, "Others might have some special condition needed to activate, like the user needing to drink gasoline to breathe fire, that's not something a kid would discover on their own, or at least they shouldn't."

The doctor took a few moments to let what he just said sink in, and then continued explaining the phenomena.

"There are quirks that need specific actions to activate. There is this case I read about, where this young man had no clue what his quirk did, if it did anything noticeable. When he was a teenager, he ended up discovering it by pure accident."

"What happened?" Izuku asked intrigued, wondering if their situations were similar.

"Well, he had a girlfriend, and they became intimate for the first time." Sadao stopped and chuckled at how Izuku turned red, "The next day, his girlfriend experienced a massive boost to her physical abilities and even her quirk was stronger. After several tests, it turned out that this young man's quirk was that he could boost others, but only by having sex with them. I heard that he ended up becoming a support hero at an all-female agency."

This only caused Izuku to turn even redder, which caused both his mother and the doctor to giggle and chuckle respectively.

"Midoriya-san, when do you think your quirk manifested? That way we can try and figure out what may have caused it to show up."

"Well, I know it wasn't there the day before yesterday. I went to shower after I returned home, and I definitely didn't have it on me. After my shower, I just went to sleep, since I had an eventful day and just wanted to sleep."

"So, whatever caused it to activate happened the day before yesterday. Did something happen at school then?"

That question caused Izuku to freeze. Normally, he'd gotten used to just brushing off his mother's worry about school, but this time he just couldn't.

"So, something did happen." The doctor mused.

"How did you know?" Izuku was so shocked that the doctor figured it out, that he just confirmed the doctor's question.

"Ah, I never did tell you about my quirk, did I. These horns have nothing to do with it really. It's called Detective, and it basically lets me notice details normal people miss, connect ideas extremely quickly and figure things out faster than most people. It's really helpful in most careers, despite its name lending it to something like police work. I use it to figure out what's wrong with my patients, what quirks do and how, and a number of other things."

"That's really cool, so you realized something happened using your quirk?"

"I didn't need to. You might not realize it, but children and teenagers are very expressive and can't lie very well. I could tell something happened just by looking at your face. Let me guess, was it a girl?" Izuku's face reddened slightly, but the doctor continued, "It's not a girl then. So, bullies."

The shock on Izuku's face was obvious, and he then tried to deny it.

"N... No, it's not bullies. I'm not being bullied." Izuku tried to deny it, but the shock that showed up on his face when the doctor mentioned he was being bullied.

"Izuku, you were bullied? Why didn't you tell me? I tried and tried to see if everything was alright with you, but you always said you were fine. I tried to speak with the teachers, but they always told me that you never mentioned anything to them. I should have done more." Inko began crying, her guilt finally bubbling over. Ever since she failed to encourage him and believe in his dreams, she's felt like she failed her son. She tried and tried to make things better, but she never realized she only needed to believe in him.

Izuku immediately went to console his mother, his eyes beginning to water as well. He hid the fact that he was being bullied, so he can keep her from getting sad. He wanted to protect her, because despite the small part of him resenting her, he still loved his mother deeply. Izuku began feeling guilty even more, seeing his mother upset and in anguish, and he began to cry as well.

It was fortunate that the doctor's office was built with a variety of quirks in mind. This was because the mother-son duo could cry a lot, and the drainage pumps of the office had to work hard to get rid of all the water falling. The doctor was so surprised by how much they can both cry that he froze there for a while, before getting up to get several water bottles and some electrolyte drinks. He figured after they finished crying, they're going to need to replenish their fluids.

Thankfully, they have several packs of both in the fridge, so it didn't take him long to gather some and return to his office. When he returned, it seemed the Midoriyas had stopped crying and were just sniffling and wiping their wet eyes.

"Here you go" Sadao said as he handed them some of the bottles, "look, it's clear you have things you need to talk about. I know the stigma of it in Japan, but why don't you both see a therapist? They help a lot of people deal with problems. Even heroes, all of them, have therapists, so don't think less of yourselves for going to one. I can even recommend a good one I know."

"I guess that wouldn't be a terrible idea." Izuku responded, the fact that heroes go to them helping a lot in convincing him. Inko agreed tentatively, not sure about it, but seeing her son willing to do so, she decided to as well.

"What I don't get is why Katsuki doesn't stop them?" Inko asked, not realizing that he was the biggest bully.

"Mom..." Izuku tried to think of something to change the conversation, but that ultimately proved pointless.

"He's one of your bullies, isn't he?" Sadao asked him, since eventually Inko would have realized it.

"Izuku is that true?" She asked him, her eyes starting to water again. She thought that he at least had one friend, if a rather prickly one, but the thought of his childhood friend becoming his bully was going to set her off again.

"Mom, please... can we talk about this later. I don't want to talk about Kacchan right now. Please." Izuku pleaded with her, not wanting to open up that big can of worms right now.

"Ok honey." Inko replied while sniffling, realizing that Izuku really didn't want to talk about it right now.

"What a can of worms I ended up unleashing." Sadao muttered to himself, but he continued nonetheless, "so you didn't have a good day at school. Did anything else happen afterwards? I heard that there was a villain who attacked a student yesterday, was that you?"

"Umm, no. That was Kacchan, I jumped in and tried to get him out. I guess I didn't really help, since some of the heroes ended up scolding me." Izuku replied, trying to deflect from the fact that he was attacked earlier by the same villain.

"I only heard about it, but if that kid was being drowned by the villain, then you probably saved his life. I heard that the villain had him hostage for several minutes, and if you didn't jump in, even if you only bought him a few seconds to breathe, then you definitely saved his life. His brain and body would have started shutting down without any oxygen." Sadao reassured Izuku, who looked happier at knowing he actually did help. "But you're still hiding something."

"HOW?" Izuku shouted in surprise, apologizing afterwards.

"My quirk, remember. It helps that you have a very expressive face." Sadao explained while sniggering a bit.

"Oh, right." Izuku muttered sheepishly, before continuing with a grimace. "The sludge villain also attacked earlier before he went after Kacchan, when I was walking back home from school."

"WHAT! Are you hurt? How many fingers am I holding up? Doctor, doctor. Somebody call a doctor!" Inko in full panic mode exclaimed as she checked up on her son, forgetting the fact that they there was a doctor right next to them.

"Mom, MOM!" Izuku raised his voice slightly to get her attention, "I'm fine. All Might ended up rescuing me and I even got his autograph."

"Anything else you're hiding?" Sadao asked him, since he did notice that Izuku was still hiding things. "I'll also give you a check-up afterwards, just to make sure you're all right."

"Yeah, but it's not something I want to talk about." Izuku said, and the look on his face made it clear that he wasn't going to.

"Allright, I understand. Still, you must have been under a great deal of stress when you returned home."

"I guess. With everything that happened, I just wanted to go to sleep. I was exhausted and wanted to basically power off."

"I figured as much. Well, the silver lining in all of this is that everything that happened probably helped your quirk show up."

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked, confused and wondering how all of this tied together.

"Well, do either of you know anything about quirk evolution?"

"Yeah, it's when a quirk becomes even stronger. I read that it's really rare though. What does it have to do with my quirk showing up?"

"Quirk evolution is more than the quirk becoming stronger. It mostly happens with heroes who train their quirks and bodies to the brink, and sometimes they experience this phenomenon. However, there are other causes for it, such as physical and mental stress. There have been several incidents, where a civilian is under a lot of stress, from let's say being in a building on fire. What can happen is that their quirk evolves to help them survive the danger, but this doesn't always happen. Now quirk evolution can cause quirks to gain new abilities, strengthen existing ones, remove weaknesses or even alter the quirk fundamentally." Sadao explained to Izuku and his mother. "Now, there is a similar phenomenon called Stress Manifestation, and it's basically when a quirk manifests as a result of extreme stress felt by the quirk's user. There are very few recorded occurrences, but it can happen."

"So, my quirk showed up because I was in danger? Why not show up when I was first attacked?"

"My best guess is that your quirk was always going to take some time to show up. Your body needed to build up a certain amount of minerals to form the watch. What happened was that you unconsciously suppressed your own quirk because you believed you didn't have one. It's slightly surprising that happened, but far stronger psycosomatic symptoms have been observed before. When your life was in danger and with all the stress built up inside of you, your quirk was forced to show up. The problem was your body couldn't just force it out instantly, so when you went to sleep your quirk slowly manifested itself. Being in danger released certain chemicals inside your brain that triggered your body to slowly manifest your quirk. Does my explanation make sense?"

"I guess" Izuku replied, slightly reeling from the information.

"Good, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask me anytime. Now, let's start with the fun bits, figuring out what exactly your quirk does."

"I thought it was rather obvious, he can transform." Inko commented, a bit confused.

"That's what it seems his quirk does. Let me explain, a few years ago, most quirk doctors would just find what a quirk does and be done with it, but a certain incident happened that caused the government to really change the laws and press down on quirk doctors really harshly. Basically, this small kid could create balls of light. The doctor didn't bother to see if she could do anything else, or even how she made them. A few days later, this kid was caught in a villain attack and when she got scared that ball of light became a powerful destructive sphere. Thankfully, Ingenium and his sidekicks had already cleared out the civilians and no one was hurt. Afterwards, the government forced quirk doctors to do a whole bunch more tests than what they used to do."

"Sounds expensive," Inko asked, slightly worried. They weren't poor, but expenses do build up over time.

"Not really. With many heroes not having large agencies and places to test how their quirks work and their limits, places like this get a lot of visits from them. Most of the expensive equipment ends up being paid off relatively quickly. The government also covers most of the cost of consultations like this, and don't worry, I'll mention your situation and make sure you're covered by this too." Sadao reassured Inko, since by all means this was Izuku's first real quirk counselling.

"Thank you very much, sensei." Inko thanked him while bowing down her head in thanks.

"Now, to the fun part. Since your quirk is clearly technological, we can use the TOQI," Sadao told Izuku excitedly, and noticing the confusion he explained what that was. "It stands for Techno-Organic Quirk Interface, and it's basically a machine that can connect to most technological quirks and provide a lot of information on them."

"That's really cool." Izuku exclaimed, and for a quirk nerd like him it really was an amazing machine.

"Why don't you two go to exam room three, while I go grab the TOQI. Just ask my receptionist where the room is, and she can help you."

While Sadao went to get the TOQI, Izuku and Inko had found the exam room and were waiting for him. When the doctor got back to them, he brought along the TOQI. It didn't seem anything special, just a briefcase sized black case.

Turning on the computer in the room, Sadao then connected the TOQI to it and plugged it in. He motioned for Izuku to give him his left arm and connected some wires to the device on his arm. The TOQI began humming as it went to work, analysing the data it got from the watch, and then transmitting it to the computer. Sadao looked over the information for some time, while Izuku and Inko just waited slightly uncomfortably in their seats. Eventually, the doctor seemed to be done as he turned off the machine.

"Well, that was really helpful. The TOQI was able to figure out how your quirk works, and it makes much more sense now."

"It worked that quickly? I expected it to take more time, and what do you mean by it making more sense."

"Well, the machine works really quickly. I'm not exactly sure of how it works, the science being a bit beyond my understanding. Normally, yes, it would take some time to analyse the results, but with my quirk I can do it much faster than other people." Sadao explained to Izuku.

"So, what does my quirk do, I mean I know it lets me transform, but what else is there? Also, what did you mean by it making more sense?"

"I'll just give you a small summary of what your quirk does, since the long and detailed version will be a lot of scientific jargon you won't understand. Basically, your quirk has three main functions; it scans lifeforms in a radius around you, uses the data to generate the forms you take and allows you to transform into them."

"So, I'll get more transformations?" Izuku asked, surprised and ecstatic.

"Well, maybe. Each form needs a lot of data to be generated, so you'd basically have to scan several thousand people per form. It may take even more, since as a form is being generated, more and more specific data will be needed to complete it, and you might not run into a person that would have that data." Sadao continued explaining to them, "The reason why you already have ten transformations is probably because your quirk has been passively scanning and generating these ten forms before it even manifested."

Sadao began packing up the TOQI, before making a call to his receptionist to take it back to storage. The reason is that he was taking the Midoriyas to the last and most exciting part of their tests. They took the elevator to an underground floor and as they exited the elevator they were surprised.

"Surprised? This is the last of the tests that we're going to do. I mentioned that heroes come here to test the limits of their quirks, well they do this here." Sadao exclaimed as he showed off the large training facility built beneath the building. "Other than Yuei, this is the best facility for testing what quirks can do and their limitations. We can handle many quirks, but there are some that we recommend to larger clinics."

"We didn't do anything like this when I was young." Inko muttered to herself, but the doctor heard her and chuckled.

"Well, like I said after the government cracked down on quirk doctors, they started having to do many more tests. Now, the machines here are pretty advanced, and normally only some of the quirks would need to be further tested here. But I figured why not let Izuku figure out what his quirk can do. I'm free for a while, there was a big mix-up with some of the dates and I had to reschedule quite a few of them."

"Really?" Izuku asked with tears beginning to form at the doctor's kindness.

"Well, why not? I mean I am helping a future hero, aren't I?" Sadao asked, having quickly figured out Izuku's dream. It wasn't difficult, most kids wanted to be heroes and after hearing how Izuku jumped in to save his own bully, there was no doubt in the doctor's mind that Izuku will be a great hero. "But before we do, we should give your quirk a name. Any ideas?"

A few ideas were tossed around, some were basic like Transformation or Multi-Form, others nonsensical words like Polymorphologicalization or Shiftiform. Sadao ended up giving a really good idea for a name.

"How about Omni Matrix. Omni basically means all, but it's often used to refer to plurality and Matrix basically refers to what something originates from. I actually was reminded of the terms this morning. I found a few magazines, probably left by some patients, in the waiting room and not having anything better to do leafed through them."

"Omni Matrix, Omni Matrix, ..." Izuku said the name a few times, feeling like its close but not quite right.

Seeing the look on his face, Sadao offered another one, "What if we merge them? I guess the name did sound a bit clunky, so does something like Omnitrix sound better?"

"Yes! That's perfect." Izuku exclaimed, as the name seemed to be perfect. As if it was meant for his quirk. "So, what transformation should we start with?"

"Well, it's your choice. You can choose one you already know about, or a new one. We will end up doing tests with all of them. Oh right, before you start there should be a changing room there," Sadao pointed to a nearby door, "and you can find some outfits. Choose one your size, that way you won't tear any of your clothes, and take off your shoes so they don't get torn if you transform into something bigger."

After Izuku did that, he returned and activated the selection wheel. Asking the doctor if the sessions are recorded and if so, if he can have a copy of the videos afterwards, Izuku was happy that Sadao agreed to his request. Deciding to just pick the form already chosen, Izuku pressed down on the Omnitrix. His body glowed a bright green that forced the people around him to look away and his body began growing and morphing.

In less than a second, Izuku now resembles an orange and white bipedal tiger with one black claw coming out of each wrist and no tail. He is also muscular and has green eyes and black stripes on his shoulders, head, legs, and upper body as well as a white jaw, neck, chest, stomach, hands, and feet, although parts of his body were covered by his clothes.

"RAAAH!" Izuku shouted out as he transformed.

"Woah, there Midoriya-san. No need to shout."

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, HAYASHI SADAO-SENSEI! RATH ISN'T GOING TO CALM DOWN, BECAUSE RATH ISN'T IN CALM'S VOCABULARY!" Izuku, or rather Rath, exclaimed loudly.

"That made no sense." Sadao stated, who was rather calm instead being terrified at the two-meter-tall bipedal tiger that looked like it could bench press trucks.

"I KNOW!"

"Izuku Midoriya, I didn't raise you to raise your voice like that on people. Apologize now!" Inko scolded him, after getting over her shock.

"It's fine, Midoriya-san. Rath, was it? Why don't you go punch that punching bag over there."

"RATH DECIDES WHEN RATH PUNCHES THINGS AND RATH PUNCHES THINGS ALL THE TIME!" with that he turned around, but was stopped by Sadao saying something else.

"Can you retract your claw or is that not possible?"

"OF COURSE RATH CAN RETRACT HIS CLAWS! DO YOU THINK RATH CAN'T DO IT?" Izuku shouted as he sheathed the claws on his hands through sheer anger, before then going to the punching bag and beginning to wail on it.

"I'm so sorry" Inko began to say but was cut off by the doctor.

"It's fine, this isn't the first quirk that can make its user angry. I've seen quite a few, and I know he didn't mean anything by it so it's fine. It was actually funnier than anything else." Sadao said as he chuckled a bit at the way Rath acts. "What's really interesting is that this form of his came up with its own name pretty much instantly, from what Midoriya-san told me it took him quite a bit of brainstorming to come up with the names for the other two."

Meanwhile, not too far from the conversing duo, Izuku was wailing on the punching bag that was specifically designed for powerful strength quirks. After a couple of minutes of punching it and getting nowhere, Izuku got angrier and angrier and started shouting at it.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, PUNCHING BAG. YOU THINK YOU'RE MAKING A FOOL OUT OF RATH, BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT RATH IS MAKING A FOOL OF RATH. YOU WANT A PIECE OF RATH, YOU GOT A PIECE, BUT YOU JUST BIT OFF AN EYE BIGGER THAN YOUR STOMACH COULD CHEW!" Izuku shouted as his anger seemed to swell, and with that his fur started standing up on Rath's body and his muscles started showing protruding veins. It seemed this berserker state, although one might argue that Rath is always in a berserker state, amplified his strength by quite a bit. Eventually, Izuku transformed back to normal and apologized for what he said, but the doctor just waved him off. After the watch's cooldown, they continued doing various tests on his transformations.

It took a couple of hours, but they finished their testing and Izuku managed to get a copy of the information and videos. He wanted to sketch the rest of his transformations and give them names. Sadao also gave Izuku a basic diet and exercise regime, to help him get into better shape, since that was an important part of being a hero. He did warn Izuku that using his quirk in public was against the law, but sneakily mentioned that if he practices somewhere relatively private, he won't be in any trouble.

Once they got back home, Izuku wanted to rush off to his room to begin his notetaking, but his mother wanted to talk with him.

"Izuku... I'm sorry." She began saying, "I'm sorry I never believed in you when you wanted me to. I'm sorry for not encouraging you and not supporting you when you needed me the most. The truth is, quirk or no quirk, you have an amazing heart, and I know you can help a lot of people. I knew you could be a hero, even without a quirk, and with one you will be the best hero out there."

"Why? Why did you tell me sorry back then?" Izuku asked as he began to cry, mostly tears of happiness but some of sadness.

"I was sorry that I took you to that horrible doctor. I was sorry that it was going to be really difficult for you to achieve your dreams. I was sorry that you didn't get your quirk back then. I was sorry for not wanting you to become a hero." Inko told him as she began crying too, "I was so scared that you'll get hurt or worse. Even with powerful quirks, many heroes still get injured or even die and I couldn't bear the thought of that happening to you."

Instead of replying, Izuku just hugged his mother. Any resentment he had, just faded away. It didn't matter anymore.

"From now on, I'll support you 100%, no 200%!" Inko told her son as they broke apart, "You can be a hero, honey, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

Izuku just smiled and wiped away his tears. He told her that he won't, and he'll make her proud.

"I'm already extremely proud of you. Nothing will ever change that." Inko told him, "Now, I know you want to go write in your notebook, but we need to talk about the bullying."

That caused Izuku to frown, having wanted to avoid the topic. Sighing, he pushed a hand through his hair as he prepared himself for the questions.

"We're not going to talk about that today." Inko told him, smiling slightly at the shocked look on his face, "Enough drama happened today, and we can have this conversation tomorrow. Okay?"

"Sure. Thanks mom." Izuku said as he hugged her one last time before moving to his room to work on his notes.

'Man, today has been a rollercoaster.' Izuku thought as he was drifting off in bed, 'but I learned more about my quirk and mom is supporting my dreams. I'm going to be the number one hero, just wait and see. Supersonic, Feedback, Shardrock, Ravager, Rebeat, Frostmoth, Scolville, Techtonic, Rath and Bloxx. All of you will help me become a hero, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.'

The next day, early in the morning, Izuku woke up quite early. He set his alarm much earlier than normal, since he wanted to get a start on the training regimen. He was going to have to find a gym, but he can start with some basic stuff like jogging. Putting some exercise clothes, they were hero themed which was why he bought them, he then wrote down that he was going for a jog so his mother wouldn't worry.

Starting off slowly, so his body would warm up, he then began jogging. He tried to follow the tips he read online earlier, but he still had to stop a few times to catch his breath or sit down and rest his legs. He also stopped at a konbini that he saw and bought a couple of water bottles and some protein bars. Eventually he found himself in front of a garbage covered beach and looking it up online he saw that it was called Takoba Municipal Beach Park.

Izuku noticed that the area was pretty much empty and isolated thanks to the large amounts of trash there. Looking around and not seeing anyone around, Izuku figured he might as well train his quirk a bit. Looking at his selection of transformations, he ended up choosing Bloxx and pressed down on his watch.

Izuku's body became segmented and made up of individual red, blue, and yellow large Lego blocks. His default appearance looks similar to that of a gorilla made of mostly red and yellow building blocks with some blue blocks. He has black lines and studs all over his body. His feet are stubs, and his hands are extremely large to balance most of his body. He has his quirk's symbol on his chest. It was a good thing that the hero exercise clothes were designed to work with transformation quirks, otherwise he would have been naked. He did take off his shoes so they wouldn't be ripped apart.

He began testing out his shapeshifting powers, trying out different forms and ideas. He actually managed to transform into a sphere and bounce around for a bit, but he ended up smashing into a refrigerator that was left there. He wasn't hurt but looking around he was reminded of something quite a few heroes had espoused. Serving the community, and simply helping out wherever possible. Whether it's something like picking up litter or helping the elderly cross the street.

Many of those heroes were mostly talk, but Izuku knew that quite a few of them did do a great deal of community service. Fourth Kind regularly helped in cleanups after disasters or even picking up litter when he sees any, Ingenium always helped the elderly cross the street and All Might was the best example. Despite his mixed feelings towards the man, he didn't hate him or anything, but he was disappointed in him a bit.

Still, Izuku was a hero at heart, so he decided to combine community service with his training, so he began carrying large pieces of trash like microwaves and small tires and taking them to the dumpsters near the beach's entrance. He even discovered a new ability that this form had, which was elasticity, at least to an extent. He wanted to try extending his arm, by shapeshifting, to grab a piece of garbage, but his arm ended up stretching towards it. While all this was happening, Izuku was laser focused on cleaning up the beach that he didn't realize he had an audience of one.

The person was a very skinny man with sharp, angular features, long limbs and an extended neck. He had wavy blonde hair, with two long strands coming down from his hairline and framing his face. The man was taking a walk, when he saw Izuku cleaning up the beach and decided to watch him for a bit, to remind himself that there were still people around that still did community service.

Izuku had gotten another microwave to the dumpsters, when his watch began beeping and glowing red. It was something he had gotten accustomed to, and it basically meant that he was transforming back to normal. The lanky man had decided to talk to the blocky individual who seemed to be taking a break or possible done for the day.

When the lanky man came into Izuku's sight, Izuku froze recognizing him instantly. "All Might?"

That caused the thin man, or All Might, to freeze and begin to worry as to how he was recognized. The blocky individual suddenly glowed red and he saw a familiar face after the red light faded. It was someone All Might wanted to talk to, but didn't think he'd find him this soon.

"Midoriya-shonen?"

Author's Notes:

Sorry for being a bit late, but as I said above the heat is killing me. Also, I had to rewrite the doctor visit part like five times, before I was happy with it. I was also planning on a much longer chapter, but I figured that it would be better to split them off into two chapters. I really enjoyed writing this, other than the moody emotional swings (which I won't be doing that much of anymore, see below), and I especially loved writing Rath.

I know that schools in Japan don't have school off on weekends, but for the sake of the story, after quirks came and chaos reigned, the world governments had to rebuild, and things changed.

Izuku feels a bit OOC, I know, but there is some reasoning for this. In the manga he is basically a bundle of nerves all the time, but that's mainly because Bakugo is often around. Here most of the interactions are with his mother, someone he is very close to (at least in this fic). He is still extremely shy and anxious, sort of (he isn't like that with the doctor because he's too excited about his 'quirk' to worry), so if a girl came up to talk to him, he would faint right away. Because of how he is in the manga (very anxious) or in fanon (extreme social phobia), he will be going to a therapist and become better adjusted if still slightly shy and anxious (those are his personality traits, I'm just reducing them by a lot) (the therapy is behind the scenes, although I might have some scenes here and there), since he has many issues and I don't want to write all the emotional problem stuff (mainly because I don't think I'm good at it) and it isn't what I want to write about.

I left several hints to a specific character, and the first person to comment with all the hints and who the character is gets a cookie. I don't really know how to give them, but you can give yourself one for being one smart cookie :)

So, I did some world building, me making late bloomers an actual thing. Here is the reason, quirks are clearly based on Marvel's mutants. Now most mutants awaken their powers during puberty, but there are plenty who awaken them later on in life. It doesn't make sense that only at four can a kid awaken their quirks, especially if they are biological abilities. If they were magical or something like that and could only come when a person is four years old, then fine.

Why is Izuku angry at finally getting a quirk, well the thing is he would have extremely mixed feelings about it. I already mentioned that he will be going to therapy, so no more teenage tantrums. Will there be deep emotional scenes, yes! That is good writing, connecting with the audience and getting them to feel with your character is good writing. But I won't do angst and all the stuff like it, because I don't like it. When I read, I don't want to constantly be depressed while reading, there's already terrible stuff in real life. I hope you get what I mean, because I don't.

Sensei isn't just for teachers, it also refers to several other professions, doctors included. (just a small explanation to those who didn't know). I don't know about using the honorifics, I mean I have some basic knowledge about them, but I don't know. Do you guys want me to continue with it or just remove it or even switch to a more western (basically first names, yes, I know in Japan it's rude to call a person by their first name unless they are okay with it)

So, by stress buildup, I'm not talking about ReDestro's quirk. Basically, I mean by it all the anger, frustration, fear, hatred and all other negative emotions that formed this mental stress on Izuku.

So, I want to just write off Bakugo. What do you guys want? I don't like him, but I also don't care for bashing characters. I will just write him off, since so long as he is around, I don't see Izuku growing as a character.

So, I showed you guys four aliens in the first chapter, I did it because we were shown four aliens in the first ben 10 episode (heatblast, wildmutt, diamondhead and xlr8). I've read some other fics that try to keep them a surprise, but I won't do that. Most will be shown in chapter 2 or 3, but you can guess and if your right I'll put down their species and ben 10 name. BTW: Rebeat is a name I originally created, so I am very proud of it. The others I got from reddit. Some I just couldn't improve upon

This is one of the ideas I had for MHA x Ben 10 Crossovers, tell me if you like the other ideas (I have many mha fic ideas, and will be posting a fic that basically has prompts for other people to write. If you do want to write them, just mention that you got the idea from me, nothing more):

Izuku goes camping with his grandfather Max, Ben is accepted into the baseball team so he can't go but joins them halfway (after the Forever Knights trying to take over the president episode), alongside Gwen. Izuku gets the Omnitrix (he isn't the same as Ben, since he thinks with his head more, so things will be a bit more different) and they call it a support device to help him use his quirk. Izuku is willing to have Azmuth remove it because criminals won't stop coming after it and his family will eventually get hurt. Seeing how attached Izuku is to the Omnitrix, all Azmuth does is disconnect it from Primus and installs a signal jammer which lets Izuku keep the Omnitrix, but no new aliens (but he does have several more than Ben does since he figured out the scanning feature earlier).

Izuku has a quirk that lets him transform into various forms (sort of like what's happened here except no Omnitrix) and the forms are aliens from ben 10. He only has ten, and they come in slowly as he grows up. He gets OFA, and it basically lets him Ultimate Alien them (I'm not too sure about this but I also don't hate it).

Izuku awakens his quirk when he's being suffocated by the sludge villain, and it basically turns him into an alien fusion. Long story, in the ben 10 universe, when Aggregor absorbs the Andromeda five, in his power-hungry state he tries to go after the Omnitrix, but it has a defence feature. A shockwave emanates, sending Aggregor crashing into the machine he built. The Andromeda five are released and Aggregor is vaporized, and ben temporarily loses access to several aliens until Azmuth returns them. What happens is because of how Los Solidad is such a hotspot of weirdness and the machines, the transformation energy containing the DNA of the Andromeda five and five other aliens from the Omnitrix (I have a list, but I keep changing one or two of them). This energy enters Izuku but lays dormant. It activates when he is being suffocated and he permanently becomes an alien fusion, but everyone sees it as a quirk (which why not). I even attempted a drawing of how Izuku would look, but it's not the best, at least in my opinion. If I do write it, I will provide a detailed description and a better image.
