- I only own Aliza, her cousins and the unknown vampires. I do not own the known characters. Those belong to the amazing writers for the Series True Blood. -

17-year-old Aliza licked her lips as she looked at the bar. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Bars weren't her scene. She wasn't even old enough to get in one yet.

Her phone buzzed and Aliza opened it up to see a message from her cousins.

Katie

Are you there yet? Remember you have to get a picture of you with a vampire. No picture means you chickened out, loser.

Elizabeth

Remember if you get the picture we will treat you like a member of our family instead of a loser.

Jamie

Don't forget the id I gave you. Lose it and you are dead.

Aliza licked her lips and slipped her phone into her small handbag. Stepping out, she straightened her black dress.

The top was a black lace corset with red ribbons holding the front. The skirt was a black Tully skirt paired with black fishnet leggings and ankle boots. Her hair was down and layered round her face. Her jewelry consisted of red bracelets, necklace and earrings.

Walking to the line, Aliza waited until she got to the door. The human at the door gave her a once over and opened the door waving her in.

Relief filled her as she was not carded. Her cousin gave her the fake ID and she was dreading on using it.

Glancing around, she watched as humans and vampires moved. The outfits on most of the humans were cringeworthy. She felt overdressed in her black dress, tights and boots.

A buzz of her phone had the girl look at it with a frown.

Katie

I bet you chickened out. You are such a loser.

Elizabeth

Bet she doesn't even make it past the door.

Jamie

Even if she gets in she wont drink or be chosen by a vampire. She is an ugly duckling. Just give up and admit you are a loser.

Aliza tensed in anger. 'I can do this. I'm not a loser.'

The girl walked over to a booth and took a seat looking around. She discreetly pulled her phone out and snapped a picture of her in the booth with humans and vampires around her.

"Good evening, child." A voice said.

Aliza's head shout up staring in shock at the male in front of her. He had short brown hair and a kind face but it was too pale to be human.

She reached up and pushed some hair back behind her ear. "hello."

A waitress walked over with a smile at the vampire. "What can I get for y'all?"

Before Aliza could say anything, the vampire spoke. "I will have a true blood O and the child will have some water."

The waitress nodded her head with a frown at Aliza before leaving.

Aliza frowned and was about to speak when the vampire spoke first.

"How did you get past the bouncer at the door?"

Aliza's eyes widened for a second looking him in the eyes before defeat set in. He knew. She didn't know how but he knew.

"He didn't check my id." She said with a nervous look.

Around her, vampires who were listening were amused at the girl being caught before she could even do anything.

The waitress came back and placed the drinks on the table leaving.

The vampire picked up his drink with a motion to her water. "You are pale from being caught. The Ice water will help."

Aliza sighed and picked up the water taking a sip before looking at him. "Are you going to call the cops?"

The vampire shook his head. "No. May I see the ID?"

Aliza reached in her purse and handed the ID over to the vampire.

He grabbed it and looked with a frown. "Very clever. Only a vampire would have noticed the issues."

His eyes turned to Aliza when her phone buzzed as he slipped the id into his jacket pocket.

Opening it up, Aliza felt her eyes water at her cousin's messages.

Katie

Hey loser, Still waiting on that picture.

Jamie

She is too much of a freak to get in.

Elizabeth

She is a nerd. The vamps would never go through anything with her.

The vampire reached out and plucked the phone from her fingers reading all the messages before meeting her eyes. "I see."

Aliza's shoulders lowered. It felt like she disappointed a father figure. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to prove to my cousins I wasn't a loser. I didn't mean to cause any trouble."

The vampire tilted his head before nodding. "I understand the desire to prove yourself however I must ask that you refrain from returning until you are 21."

Aliza nodded her head. "Yes sir. I promise it won't happen again."

Before Aliza could move the vampire was suddenly beside her with a wicked smirk on his face. "However, that does not mean we can't give your cousins proof that you met a vampire or a few vampires."

His eyes roamed the area.

"Antonio. Sabrina. Alexander. Would you mind posing for a picture with this human child? It would be the perfect revenge for some older cousins who feel that pressuring their younger cousin into coming somewhere she is not old enough to be. They believe she can't get even one vampire to notice her so let's give her a picture with four." The vampire said with a smirk.

A Chinese vampire and two African American vampires appeared with smirks on their faces. A few minutes later, Aliza walked out of the bar with the first vampire with several pictures with the four vampires who proudly showed their fangs off for the camera.

"Here, breather. From my maker." A blond vampire said.

Aliza stared in shock when she was handed a necklace with the vampire logo on it. "Thank you, ma'am."

The blond vampire smirked. "Come back when your 21 for a free drink."

"Yes ma'am." Aliza said staring at the vampire in aww.

Aliza and the first vampire walked out to her car quietly.

"I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you and the owner of the bar. Could you tell the owner?" Aliza asked.

The vampire smiled. "Of course. I'm sure my child will understand the desire to appear cool. He loves following trends."

Aliza's eyes widened. "Your child?"

The vampire's mouth widened. "I never did introduce myself. I am Godric and my child owns this bar. I am a Gaul vampire."

Aliza's mouth dropped. "Gaul? The Gaul lived thousands of years ago. I can't imagine all the history you saw in that time. It has to be incredible."

The vampire reached out and closed her mouth with his hand. Mirth filled his eyes. "Come back when you are 21 and I will be happy to fill you in on the history I have witnessed. Living over 2,000 years gives some amazing stories to tell. Goodnight, Aliza."

He disappeared from the girl's sight.

Aliza stared at the club in shock. "I can't wait until I'm 21."

She got in her car and left.

Godric watched in amusement as Eric appeared. "So why did you spare that human child? She deserved to be punished for sneaking into my club."

"Like you never did stupid things as a child both human and vampire?" Godric said glancing at his child. "She interests me. If she comes back, I might look at turning her. It's been a long time since I have turned a new child."

Eric shook his head. "You always loved the innocent ones."

The two vampires turned and disappeared in the club. They had to entertain the human vermin who treated them like fairy tale creatures. It was only luck that they truly found interesting humans in the mix.
