Mount Silver Training Area

The crisp mountain air of Mount Silver filled the lungs of Champion Samuel Oak, known to his close friends and family as Sam, as he watched his Elite Four line up across the battlefield. Towering cliffs surrounded them, offering the seclusion needed for a project of this magnitude. Fiore's best from the Ranger Union, along with Captain Arthur Hastings and Sinnoh's top legends, along with Professor Seiyu Rowan stood nearby, all allies in this daring joint effort. Today, they would see the fruits of Project Guardian.

In front of each trainer hovered a Mew—clones created from the DNA given willingly by the original Mew herself. Each Mew, bound to its trainer, shimmered with potential, its small, catlike body brimming with an energy that only needed a focus to unleash its true power.

Sam's voice was low but firm. "All right, everyone. Today, we test the Mews' abilities in their most demanding forms. They need to be ready to shift into and absolutely master any Pokémon form—legendary, mythical, or otherwise. We need to demonstrate our strength to the world, so other regions think twice before they challenge the peace and harmony we have built through blood, sweat, and tears. We will not lose!"

Fiore's Rangers, with their deep connection to nature, had brought great insight into harmony to this project. Sinnoh's ancient traditions added a layer of knowledge and reverence, instilling in each Mew a respect for the power they would soon wield. And Kanto brought the power, eking out every drop possible with technique and skill from the greatest minds available. All understood the stakes. Each Mew was more than a deterrent; it was a guardian of the peace.

As Sam watched his teams lead their Mews through intense training, his mind drifted. Will this truly be enough? he wondered, his heart heavy with the weight of responsibility. Can a few guardians really hold back the world's ambition? The thought gnawed at him, a dark whisper he couldn't quite silence. He wanted to believe in the project, to trust that these Mews could protect our regions. But the uncertainty clawed at him—with the question: will this be enough?

Just as his mind wandered deeper into doubt, a soft, chiming laughter filled the air, pulling him from his thoughts. It was a sound he knew well, one that held both comfort and a certain trepidation in keeping a lookout for mischief. The trainers froze, glancing at one another, then looked up to see the original Mew materialize in a shimmer of light. Her small form radiated joy and mystery as she floated down among them, her eyes gleaming with a knowing light.

Sam blinked, momentarily speechless, as Mew floated toward him, her gaze penetrating as if she could see the shadowed thoughts that had haunted him only moments before. She circled Sam's Mew, her eyes twinkling with an ancient wisdom and an unmistakable hint of playfulness. Floating close to her clone, Mew paused, and there seemed to be an understanding, a silent exchange of purpose and legacy. Slowly, she reached out, touching her paw to the forehead of Sam's Mew.

A radiant glow enveloped Sam's Mew, and the trainers gasped as a huge surge of energy filled the air, pulsing and expanding, causing those with psychic abilities to almost faint from the enormous psychic pressure being released. Sam's Mew floated upward, its shape twisting, growing, changing, as it was gifted with something entirely new, something beyond the clones, beyond its origins. It was evolving!

When the light finally faded, Sam's Mew was no more. In its place floated a creature of immense presence—Mewtwo. Taller, powerful, and fierce, the new form radiated strength and intelligence, a perfect embodiment of everything Project Guardian was meant to achieve. Sam's Mewtwo, stood as tall as him at just over 182 cm (6 feet). Her body still retained the overall pink coloring from Mew, but in hues. When her eyes opened, Sam was relieved to see that same mischievous loyalty and friendliness he had cultivated with her as they continued bonding. Even though her face was a more serious mien, she still smiled at Sam and his heart soared with gratitude towards Mew.

Mew's chiming laughter echoed in their minds, and in a rare moment of telepathic connection, she spoke: "A little extra assurance, Sam. Your Mew is ready."

The trainers stood in awe, feeling the weight of what they had witnessed. Project Guardian had not only gained protectors but a leader among them—a Mewtwo, born from Mew's spirit of trust and mischief, and a reminder of the legacy they were meant to uphold.

Sam placed a hand on Mewtwo's shoulder, a quiet promise passing between them. Their guardianship of Kanto, Sinnoh, and Fiore had just reached a new level.
