2Rosabella tuned out those around her as she tried to figure out what to do. She had to get the boys out without risking her family but how.
A jab to the side had her squeaking like a mouse. Glancing over, Feitan raised an eyebrow. Rosabella blushed and turned to stare at the man.
"Pay attention." He said with a huff.
Rosabella looked at Shalnark.
"And since we have no idea what he looks like, we're going to need to find someone who does." Shalnark said with a huff.
Rosabella glanced at the list Feitan was holding.
"That's the guy I killed." Phinks said with a frown. "The one on the top left. He can be crossed out."
Shalnark nodded his head. "Pair up and keep a sharp eye out."
Feitan stood. "What of the healer?"
Machi stood. "She's staying here."
The woman walked over and forced the girl to turn around. Machi wrapped her nen string around her wrists. She dragged Rosabella over to a column and made her sit down before wrapping her nen string around the column.
"She will be fine here." Machi said with a nod.
The others nodded but Feitan knelt. "If you try and flee, I will kill every niece and nephew of your family slowly by removing their skin while they are still alive."
Rosabella paled. "I wont run."
"Good girl." Feitan said before standing.
The group disappeared out the door leaving her alone. A tear ran down her face. There was nothing she could do. She was trapped like a rat in a trap and her family's lives were on the line.
A few hours later, a large booming noise was heard upstairs. It sounded like something was being slammed into.
Rosabella looked around listening.
Outside of the building, Gon and Killua ran.
"What about Rosabella?" Gon said.
"We can't help her. We need to get to the others and figure out how to warn her family." Killua said with a huff.
"I want to kick their butts for what they have done." Gon said in anger thinking about his friend.
"We need to go to Kurapika." Killua said.
"Why?" Gon asked in confusion.
Killua turned to him in shock. "You didn't figure it out. Kurapika is the chain user. He will know what to do. We need to get the strength to face the phantom troupe and rescue Rosabella."
Downstairs Nobulaga walked in the room angry.
"Are those kids here?" He demanded of the healer.
"No. They are not here." Rosabella said with a confused look.
Nobulaga stopped and huffed. He flopped down in anger.
Soon the others came back.
"Lost them?" Feitan said in amusement.
"Yeah. They were good." Nobulaga said annoyed.
"We need to go. It's almost time. The healer can stay where she is." Machi said.
They all got up and left the building. Rosabella sighed. 15 minutes after they left a movement was heard, and the girl turned to see a man standing there.
"Hello. My name is Ging. Let me get you unbound." He said as he walked behind and cut the nen ropes.
Rosabella stood with a frown. "My name is Rosabella. Are you with them? The phantom Troupe?"
Ging shook his head. "Nope. Chairman Netero sent me. I came to rescue you. Just got in an hour ago. I arrived as those people were leaving. We should go."
Rosabella shook her head. "I can't. They threatened my family. They will kill my family if I leave."
Ging sighed. "We figured that from the phone call to your brother. Your family has been contacted and moved to a new country with new identities. The people on clover island think that a tragic fire killed everyone while they were holding a memorial for you. We are making sure this is noted on other countries. We bought enough bodies to replica every single member of your family. The only ones who know the truth are Chairman Netero, his assistant, me and the other Zodiac members. They will never find them."
Rosabella shook her head. "How can you be sure? How do I know you are not lying?"
Ging reached into his pocket and pulled out a phone typing something before handing hit to her. "Here."
The phone rang and Rosabella held up the phone to her ear. "Hello."
"Rosabella? Baby."
"Mama." Rosabella said with tears running down her face.
"Go with Mr. Ging. We will see you again one day." Belladonna said tearfully.
The phone was hung up and Rosabella quickly grabbed her stuff. Her family was safe.
Outside were two cars. Ging took her bag and handed it to the woman standing there. "Here cluck."
The woman nodded her head and got into a car with a male with a large afro with what looked like sheep fur around his shoulders. The two drove off and Ging ushered the girl to the other car.
"What about me?" Rosabella asked as she got into the back seat of the car and moved to the middle to see both men. "Can I contact my friends?"
Ging climbed into the front passenger seat and glanced at the man in the driver's seat. Rosabella glanced at him and noticed he wore a jacket that was black and white with a hat that had horns on it.
The man's hands tightened on the wheel. "Taken care of. Chairman Netero said he would contact your friends."
Rosabella frowned, "But what about me? Am I going to be with my family?"
Ging glanced at the man in the driver's seat again before speaking, "You're going to be in a hunter witness protection program. A body with your stuff will be found and it will make the news. A horrible car crash. The snake, sheep are taking your things to the dog who is already setting it up. A fake hunter license was created to be found in the wreckage for identification purposes."
Rosabella nodded looking sad before turning to glance at the window as the three fled from Yorknew city.
Ging glanced at her with a sigh. She had no idea that she would be a prisoner in a Hunter Association building until the phantom troupe were eliminated. He couldn't help but wonder what would happen to her after he handed her over to those hunters. It almost was a pity as this girl seemed like a good kid. It was too bad her nen gift was so strong.
-Time Pass-
Gon, Kurpaika, Leorio and Killua sat in Leorio's hotel room sighing. They had handicapped the spiders, and the leader was not allowed to meet with the others. Gon and Killua had been rescued and everything was all right with the world except one thing.
"What do you think they did to Rosabella?" Gon asked looking in anger at his hands.
"They probably lied about her somehow escaping and killed her because we escaped. Maybe they thought she helped us." KIllua said as he glared at the wall. He wasn't sure what to think about the young woman who was so kind to him.
Leorio and Kurapika said nothing as they sat there quietly thinking about the girl. Guilt eating at both of them for failing to help her.
Gon's phone rang suddenly.
"Hello?" Gon said with Killua staring at him.
"Hello, Gon. Chairman Netero here." The old man said.
"Mr. Netero. Rosabella is in trouble. The phantom Troupe." Gon said quickly but was stopped when Chairman Netero started speaking.
"Gon. Rosabella is fine." Netero said in amusement.
"She is?" Gon said in shock. Killua stole the phone and put it on speaker.
"Yes. I'm assuming Killua is with you?" Netero asked.
"I'm here." Killua said. "Kurapika and Leorio are here as well."
"Good. I was made aware of the situation and sent my best hunters to rescue her. She is currently in hiding with the rest of her family. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to see her for her protection until the phantom troupe has been eliminated. I assured her that I would let you know she is safe." Netero said.
Before any of them could ask any questions, the phone was hung up.
The four stared at each other with uncomfortable looks.
"So now what?" Gon said.
"We live and train so one day we can destroy the phantom troupe and see our friend again." Kurapika said with a determined look.
The other three nodded. Hopefully one day, they would be able to see their friend again.
