ANNABETH'S P.O.V

"It's okay" she kept saying to herself "It's alright, there's a first time for everything and you've faced wors-"

She shrieked into her pillow as she was cut off by my own pain. A pain she had never experienced before. She tried desperately to think of something else, but the only thing her mind could think of just made her want to have a break down. After failing a countless number of times to think of something else, she decided that to recall what she was doing before these horrible pains started kicking in…

An hour earlier…

She was getting ready to go meet her annoying yet sweet boyfriend, Seaweed Brain. She took a shower, a long one, cuz' she knew that the next 5 days it might not even be possible to take a quick one. She rinsed her hair with the lemon-scented shampoo (just the way she knew he liked it). Started to find an outfit to wear, but just when she found one, her stomach started feeling weird and suddenly it felt like someone kicked her hard. At first, she thought it was some invisible monster, you know, typical demigod life. Instead, something else happened, something she didn't expect to happen but should've expected.

She had the urgent need to go to bathroom and ran. When she got up, she found blood. She knew what it was but she couldn't get her brain to tell her what was happening in detail. She immediately took her phone and her brain took over her. She searched for 'sanitary pads' . She needed some maternal love and care. Or at least she could settle for her boyfriend's care but she couldn't go now. She had ordered what she needed at the moment on a platform that delivers anything in 10 minutes. "At least something I can be grateful for now." She mumbled to herself. Once, the package arrived, she took it and spent the next 33 minutes figuring out how to wear it. She finally did it and proceeded to slip into bed.

Which was where she was currently. She had a weird desire to eat chips now. She started fall asleep when the sharp sound of a ringtone woke her up. She sat bolt upright but softened as soon as she realised someone was calling. As soon as she who was calling her, she tensed up again.

It was her Seaweed Brain. She had no idea what to tell him. Nevertheless, she picked up the phone and accepted the call. The moment she heard his voice, she wanted to melt into a puddle.

"Hello? Annabeth?" he said.

"Percy?" she heard herself saying the dumbest she could ever say to him.

"A-Are you okay?" He asked.

"…" She wanted to speak but wasn't able to. She heard him saying some things but could not really catch up on what he was saying. The last thing she could hear him saying was "I'm coming, okay?" and he abruptly cut the call.

She stayed like that frozen. Recking her brain to interpret what he just said. Instead, her mind told her to sleep. Despite the protests she made to her mind, it lulled her to sleep by replaying his voice in her mind.
