In a world different from ours, we focus on one particular railroad. It is called the Toon Railroad. This composes of different characters as locomotives, train cars, etc. It is in a place called Fantasy Land. The Railroads in question varied in size. However, there are still some lines. But the major ones were rivals. That was because there was only room for one railroad. However, it has been decided that they should work together. All to move their freight, passengers, and mail, etc across the land.

The railroads in question decided to merge together to become the Toon Railroad. The land in question was now covered by the railroad network. Though a few other railroads do exist around these parts too. Many of the locomotive fleet(s) consist of different locomotives - all being steam, diesel, gas turbine, electric, etc. Their roles vary on type. All being from shunters to express locomotives, intercity locomotives, branch line locomotives, freight locomotives, etc. They help keep this railroad running. As well as it's industries too. The railroad itself has many rail yards, bridges, tunnels, roundhouses, branch lines, short lines, and even intermodal facilities.

Whether they're pulling freight, passengers, or mail, they'll always do what it takes to be really useful. And as well as helping each other in need. But will otherwise vary in personality. Other than that, the Toon Railroad will greatly have its engines working hard to keep up with the times. The engines themselves come from those different railroads, but were once rivals. However, when their railroads became one, they soon became friends. However, there are still some that consider themselves as rivals too. But other than that too, the engines of the Toon Railroad will do anything in their power to keep things running. Including putting aside differences when needed.

Note: Just so you know as you read this, there will be a wide selection of characters. But none from shows or movies marketed for preschoolers, babies, and toddlers. As this only deals with characters that are from cartoons that are marketed for audiences that are not preschoolers, babies, and toddlers. Such as ones for general audiences to teens. Though they could be a slight rule break in that. But that's how it's going to be. The same goes for ones that are from live action shows, as well as other sources like movies (animated or live action), maybe plays, video games, and even books.
