As Tyler goes out on his daily passenger run, we get to see the mainline. The Toon Mainline itself is a very busy one too. Especially as it hosts many trains, including freight and passenger trains. Many larger locomotives are no different than to the others. All of whom otherwise serve the same tasks and purposes. Which includes otherwise from 4-8-4 northerns to the mighty articulated locomotives. As well as large diesel locomotives and gas turbines too. They all pull trains that are for the mainline. A whistle shrieked as a large locomotive came thundering around the corner. It was a large ATSF 2900 Class No. 2910. Her name was Didila Kropotkin-Pickles, or just Didi for short. She is one of the many large steam locomotives that haul freight and passengers along the line. She is at the moment hauling a fast express freight train. It was loaded with general goods as she sped down the line with a whistle. Ending with a caboose too.

She passes by various trains too. Even other freight trains too. Passing by her too was another locomotive too. Which was a former Illinois Central decapod by the name of Nubia Gross. Who is one of the most respected engines on the railroad. She also has 2 sisters too named Gina and Olei. But they are different engines, despite that however, they're considered sisters. Gina is a 0-6-0 switcher and Olei is an articulated locomotive. They mainly are tasked with freight jobs, though Gina is mostly a shunter. Nubia blew her whistle loudly to let everyone know she was coming.

Lastly, we also get to see a double stacked freight train. The train itself was pulled by 3 large modern diesels. Which proves that the Toon Railroad at some pointed invested in intermodal freight. Mostly as both exports and imports. Especially as jobs like these are mainly handled by larger engines. Whether it be double stacked or trailers. Even roadrailers are included too. This one is from one of the harbors coming in with imports. All being different kinds of goods, including tvs, clothes, toys, etc.

With that said, this is how you view the mainline here on the Tonn Railroad. Not as much description here, but it's sizable.
