"There is something you should know very clearly," he said as he played with my hair.

This vacation was indeed the best idea ever!

It's just been two days, and I was already so relaxed... As if I never had any issues in my life!

"I was born to serve my country and that's been the first truth of my life. I can never change that. I really don't have a choice there," he said, "Maybe if I have a choice in some alternate universe, I'm pretty sure I won't care about it. But you are someone I will choose in every single universe."

"I know that... You don't have to tell me that." I smiled, "You should also know that I might lose mind sometimes, but just need to bear with me. I can never leave you. I just can't imagine a life without you."

"No, I don't want to 'bear with you'," he said, "I want to make sure we don't reach that stage again."

"I really can't give you a guarantee on knowing my whimsical mind," I chuckled.

"So I guess I'm the one who will need to continue to bear with your whimsical mind in that case," he smiled.

"I guess so," I smiled.

"Joking apart," he said, "Let's stop with whatever the bullshit Eric and team are suggesting. Do only what you want to do."

"No, it's okay..." I said, "I was just tired and I overreacted. I'm fine doing everything."

"You don't need to," he said, "Just give it a time and we will see. You don't need to please every single person. You will never be able to do so anyway. There will always be people who will have issues with you, and that's fine."

"Yeah, I think I'll slowly learn to accept that," I said.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure you'll learn that," he said.

"Of course, I will learn. I'm marrying such a great philosopher who teaches me all these nice things," I joked and he glared at me.

"What? Don't make a face like you don't give me life lessons everyday!" I chuckled.

"You know what? I think I should take you out on a vacation every week to make sure you're in your usual mood," he smiled.

"But what about your duties, your majesty?" I joked.

"Duty can wait..." He said.

"Oh, can it?" I bit my lip.

"Yes, it can," he said as he kissed me.
