An Armin Arlert x Kae Eisner Tragedy
Kae fights to save Armin from a Titan's grasp, but even after victory, he's gone. Haunted by his voice, she drowns in grief—until the ocean claims her too. Two souls, bound by gravity, lost without each other.
Act I: The Descent
The world was on fire.
Kae Eisner stood atop the ruins of Wall Maria, her dark hair whipping in the ash-choked wind. Below her, the battlefield stretched—a graveyard of broken bodies and shattered dreams.
She had done the impossible.
She had won.
The Titan was dead.
And yet—
Her hands trembled as she stared at the grotesque, steaming carcass.
"Armin..."
The name was a prayer, a curse, a plea.
She had cut him free with her own blades, had pulled his limp body from the Titan's flesh. But his skin was cold. His chest was still.
And his eyes—those brilliant, ocean-blue eyes—were empty.
"I am here, deep beneath you," the wind seemed to whisper.
Kae screamed.
A raw, shattered sound that split the sky.
Act II: The Void
They buried him at dawn.
Kae didn't cry.
She stood motionless as the dirt hit the coffin, her fingers curled into fists so tight her nails drew blood.
Sasha tried to hold her. Mikasa stood silent sentinel. Even Levi glanced at her—just once—with something like understanding.
But Kae didn't feel any of it.
She was numb.
"Tirelessly turning, constantly growling," the lyrics echoed in her skull.
The world kept moving.
She didn't.
Act III: The Ghost
At night, he visited her.
Not in dreams—no, those were too kind.
Armin came to her in the in-between. The moments between wakefulness and sleep, where reality blurred at the edges.
He sat on the edge of her bed, his fingers brushing her cheek.
"I need your gravity," he murmured.
Kae reached for him—
And her hand passed through air.
"You're nothing without me," he said softly.
And she knew it was true.
Act IV: The Choice
One month later, Kae stood at the edge of the ocean.
The first Scout to ever see it.
Armin's dream.
The salt spray stung her cheeks like tears.
In her hands, she held his notebook—filled with sketches, theories, hopes.
"You showed me how to breathe," she whispered.
Then she let the pages scatter into the wind.
Act V: The End
Kae Eisner walked into the waves.
The water swallowed her boots, her knees, her waist.
She didn't stop.
Somewhere, far away, Sasha screamed her name.
Kae closed her eyes.
"I want you to lift me."
The current pulled her under.
And for the first time since he'd left—
She felt weightless.
Epilogue: The Echo
Years later, they told stories about them.
The brilliant strategist and the girl made of storms.
How they'd loved each other.
How they'd needed each other.
And how, in the end—
"I'm lost without you."
"You're nothing without me."
—they'd been right.
The End.
This was just a non-random Baldi story I was inspired to write from the song, "Lost Without You" (Defqon.1 2023 Closing Theme) by Headhunterz & Vertile (ft. Sian Evens). Attack on Titan is my favorite Anime and Armin obviously is my Anime crush so I had created a character that's basically me but to be a part of the AOT universe (Don't judge me).
