Abby, who had been gathering up her things, looked at him curiously.
"What did you say?"
"I said don't go out with him." This time it was said with more gusto.
She set the folders down and approached him slowly. She watched the emotions play across his face, and wondered if this would turn into one of his jokes.
"Why, Tony? Give me one good reason not to."
He coughed, and his eyes darted about. She wondered if he was planning his escape. He shuffled his feet, and then suddenly, his eyes met hers.
