Endless

Victory. He watched as his enemy fell, never to breathe another breath again.
Calm. It was over. It was all over, and he had his love back; his beloved Pearl.
Sadness. As strange as it was, he would miss their bitter rivalry. It had sparked his determination, and had taught him a lot about life, if only through what was considered 'the hard way'.
But life has no easy way. Life has its wars and battles. Though this one was won, there are many more to come.
Preparation. It is over-there is more yet to come.
