Harry's POV:
"What time is it?" I asked Ron after glancing down at Hermione who had fallen asleep on his Ron's lap.
"Probably late, Hermione's like passed out" Ron responded quickly. His voice seemed a little shaky and higher than usual, clearly he was nervous.
"Ron I'm getting tired. I'm going to bed," I said.
"Harry, wait! Do you think I should tell Hermione how I feel about her?" Ron asked me. I had to admit, I knew this question would came eventually I just didn't expect it so soon, I was a little caught off guard.
"Well mate," I thought about this question for a second or two, "I think you should. I mean what do you have to lose right?"
"Yeah, thanks mate" he said a little unsure of himself.
"You'll do fine, trust me! Good night and good luck Ron!"
Ron's POV:

I leaned in a gently kissed her on the forehead. Then suddenly her eyes flicked open.
"Hermione" I said in a high squeaky tone.
"Ron" she said looking me in the eyes as if she was about to cry. Then in happened, my worst nightmare, I saw a tear rolling down her cheek. She looked down breaking eye contact with me.
I quickly blurted out "Oh no, how much did you hear?"
"Everything" was all she could say.
"Look Hermione, I'm sorry. You were never supposed to hear any of that!" I said after looking down at my knee.
"It's ok" she lifted up my chin and pressed her lips up against mine. As we pulled apart she said "I love you too." It was music to my ears. Turns out those tears weren't of sadness, they were tears of joy.
I wasn't sure what to do next, so I just followed my instincts. I kissed her, I was the most passionate kiss ever. It meant so much more then kissing Lavender, so much more.
