she looks deep into his
he had tried to hide his lies
she knew the truth wouldn't be bliss
he told her what she needed to know
she didn't know which hurt more
he'd never felt so low
she was loosing the man she adore
he had made a promise to his first love
she knew he had to keep it
he would have to leave his true love
it hurt more than any hit
their love would always be
even if he had to leave
