May came and Cree came home. She was back to her old ways.
"Come on, Crabigail," she said. "Don't be a baby. You are meant to do great things."
"Cree, I hope you never find someone to be with you," Abby said with a determined frowned. "No one wants someone who hates children."
Cree glared at her kid sister.
"Kids are scum," she said.
"Without them there is no future," Abby argued. "Without children humanity will die. And I am done with this."
She left the house, slamming the door. She headed to the park where her friends were meeting her. To her surprise, Stephanie was there.
"How did this happen?" she asked with a frown as she saw Hoagie holding Stephanie's hand.
"I called her and talked to her," Hoagie answered with his head held high. "We made up. It turned out the real reason why she broke up with me was her father's new job. Her family was supposed to move away and she didn't want a long distance relationship, but her dad decided that he wanted to commute."
Abby stared at Stephanie who blushed fiercely.
"Okay," she said.
Nigel walked up to her and kissed her.
"So, why are we here?" Abby said.
"To discuss our summer plans," Nigel answered.
"I'm staying in the states," Wally said.
"Me too," Kuki said before kissing him intensely.
"I'm planning to go to the beach," Nigel said.
"You're not going to the UK," Abby asked.
"Nope, I'm staying here," he smiled proudly at her.
"So, we're all going to be here this summer," Stephanie said with a wide smile.
"Looks like it," Hoagie said.
"This is going to be so mush fun," Kuki giggled.
To be together, that was all any of them ever wanted.
