Do you know what you'd give?

What would you pay?

To see them live,

For one more day?

The thoughts it caused its unbearable choice,

Out rang his sickening, challenging voice.

Never would I survive the pain,

If I allowed Devil's continued rein.

Do you know what you'd give?

What would you pay?

To see them live,

For one more day?

It was then I took up my fighting stance,

Justice and Evil in their deathly dance.

Dreading the thoughts of loss and love,

My time had come to live above.

Do you know what you'd give?

What would you pay?

To see them live,

For one more day?

Sacrifices are a simple thing,

Nothing to dread on a prayer and a wing.

Do you know what you'd give?

What would you pay?

To see them live,

For one more day?

Well um that was okay I suppose. Flames welcome, but please know this is the first poem I have published and I know it kinda sucks but my other poems are A LOT better. I personally recommend 'He Died Tonight' By far the best I have ever written poetry wise. Thanks for reading!
