Dunno where this came from. Only Angel and Collins could pull it off.
With the cheer of "Viva la vie boheme!" still ringing in Angel's ears, she guided her lover to her own apartment. She looked up into his fatigued face and could not resist giving him a quick kiss. It wasn't her fault it deepened to a full French kiss in the middle of the street. Well, it was Christmas Eve, so no one seemed to mind all that much.
"Let's get you home."
Home… Collins thought. His home was with this beautiful Angel… he could hardly believe it. His feel plopped along the street, and still smiling, he entered the door of Angel's apartment. He could hardly see where Angel was leading him, but by the feeling of the comforter and sheet beneath him, he guessed he was on a bed. The warmth next to him let him know Angel was there, too. He smiled contently and slipped into slumber.
Angel woke first, kissed her lover on the cheek, and then went to the kitchen to make hot cocoa. She sipped the brown liquid and smiled, wrapping a spare blanket around her shoulders and curling up on the couch, pondering.
Collins barely noted the warmth leaving, he was so tired. But when he got cold, he rolled over and found himself on top of Angel's bed. He smiled, remembering the previous night. Swinging his feet over the side of the bed, he rubbed his eyes, and walked out of the bedroom and down the hall.
Angel heard the footsteps of- who else- Collins, and smiled.
I love him… where did that come from? Angel curled up tighter, afraid of what might come out of her mouth if she tried to talk.
Collins walked over to the couch and sat down beside Angel. He wrapped his arms around her, but she still seemed… not quite as into it as the previous day.
"Angel-baby… what's wrong?"
"I'm… I'm scared, Collins."
"What's to be afraid of?"
You… no. myself.
"Collins… I'm afraid… I'm scared that…" Angel looked a bit pale. Collins kissed her.
"I'm afraid that I love you." Collins smailed, and nearly laughed.
"What is there to be afraid of? Angel, I love you."
Angel's eyes softened immediately. A smile crept onto her face as she leaned against Collins, and received another kiss.
This time, it was her fault they did more than kiss.
