Well, it's certainly been a while.
I have no idea if anyone is still reading this, but I hope so. Some of you may be wondering where I've been all these years. Most of you probably don't care. But for those of you who do, I'm really sorry for dropping off the face of the planet. I never meant to just disappear, but my real life just got very, very busy and sacrifices had to be made. I let my work life take over and I very stupidly gave up on my writing. I genuinely forgot how much I loved writing stories, particularly this story. It was my escape from the real world. And I don't know about all of you, but right now, I could really use a break from reality.
So, I'm back. Or at least I'm going to try to be back. It's been a very long time and I have no idea if I can still do this. Writing is hard work. I used to be able to pump out a 10K word chapter over a weekend. It took me six hours to write the first 804 words of this chapter. And I think only a third of those original 804 words actually made it into this version. Very discouraging.
There are a few things I need you all to understand. First, I was young and pretty naïve when I started writing this story, which by the way, was ten years ago! Second, I had a lot more time on my hands. Obviously. And third, back then (again, ten years ago!) writing was just something I did for fun. I'm older now. The real world has smacked me in the face a few times. I have a very demanding, high-pressure job that requires me to do a lot of very serious, very technical, non-fun writing. For that reason, writing for fun is infinitely more challenging. But I'm going to try. I can't guarantee I'll be able to deliver the same fluffy tone. And I genuinely have no idea if I can write smutty scenes the way I used to. Seriously, I reread all of those scenes and not gonna lie, there were times I couldn't believe those words came from me. Again, I'm going to try. And hopefully some of you will forgive my absence and stick with me and this ridiculously naïve fantasy world I created based on a TV show that very recently broke my heart for a second time. Or was it the third time. I've lost count.
Thanks to everyone who continued to read and review. And a really big thanks to everyone who sent me encouraging messages over the years—sorry for not responding.
Enough about that. Enough about me. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Just remember I'm a bit rusty so be gentle.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Chapter 30 – Privileged Existence
Logan Huntzberger led a truly privileged existence. He was born into a wealthy and well-respected family. He was blessed with remarkable good looks and more charm than necessary for any one human being. And while his grades could always have been better, no one could deny Logan's intelligence. He was smart and funny, possessing a quick wit that, had he not been rich and handsome, would have guaranteed him a spot in any social circle. Again, Logan Huntzberger led a truly privileged existence.
However, at this moment, Logan didn't feel very privileged. Right now, he was experiencing the bizarre combination of anxiety, euphoria, nausea and confusion that comes with being in love for the first time. He was not prepared for this. Love was not something he was very familiar with. He supposed his parents loved him, at least in their own twisted and self-serving way. He and his sister loved each other, and growing up, Honor was his only ally in the Huntzberger home. But while Honor was comfortable telling her brother she loved him, Logan typically responded with a "me too" or other such acknowledgement. He had no memory of actually saying it back. His friends were a different story entirely. The were as close as brothers and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them, but in typical bro fashion, Logan, Kevin, Colin and Finn did not talk about loving each other. Such sentiments were not expressed in words, but rather with actions like paying for a round of drinks, jumping into a drunken brawl that Finn likely caused, or keeping your inebriated friend from hooking up with girl he wouldn't approach if he was sober.
Over the years, many women had professed their love for Logan—he was after all very charming. Such declarations often occurred immediately before, during or after sex. And while Logan reveled in these professions, as they were generally part of the conquest process, he was not stupid or cruel enough to say the words back. Women often equate sex with love. Men are less sentimental—especially college aged men. To the typical teenaged or twenty something year old male, sex is just sex. And this was just the case with Logan, at least it was until a certain brunette walked back into his life and changed the way he looked at the world.
"Rory," he whispered to himself. He smiled. Just saying her name made him happy. In the 21 minutes since his father had left him alone with his thoughts, Logan could think of nothing but Rory and what he felt for her. He loved her and he wanted to tell her that he loved her, but sadly, he wasn't quite sure how to do that. He considered some kind of grand gesture—expensive jewelry, sky writing, flash mob musical number. His mind immediately started planning a perfect date and with any luck, it would actually be perfect—unlike last time. And then at the end of that perfect date, he would unleash the grandest of grand gestures letting Rory know exactly how he felt. He thought about which restaurant to buy out for the night, which pop star he could hire to sing a love song, which song he should choose, and how quickly he could pull it all together—being wealthy definitely had its advantages. And then he thought about Rory and he smiled. And then he just burst out laughing, a little at the situation he was in, but mostly at himself.
Without another thought, Logan got up walked out of his hotel suite. He was waiting for the elevator for exactly seven seconds before his impatience got the best of him and he very impulsively made a beeline for nearest stairwell. He didn't even notice the "Emergency Exit Only" sign or pay attention to the alarm he set off when entering the stairwell. It felt good to be running. He was a man on a mission. It was many flights of stairs down to Rory's floor and when he arrived, he discovered emergency only stairwells didn't open back into the hallways. They were strictly one way. Logan pounded on the door hoping to get someone's attention, but no one was around.
"Shit." It was all he could say.
But Logan would not be deterred. With more determination, he made his way down the remaining flights of stairs—all 33 of them—before exiting the building into a pretty grungy alley. Logan laugh at himself again as he made his way into the hotel lobby and back to the elevator bank. This time, he just waited for the elevator. The ride back up to the 34th floor was eternal. He knew it was useless, but he kept pushing the button to Rory's floor willing the elevator to get there quicker. By the time he was knocking on her door, Logan was decidedly anxious and a little sweaty. That was a lot of stairs.
Rory answered the door immediately and ushered him in. She'd taken her shoes off, but was still in her business attire. "Logan. Oh my God! Are you okay?" she asked taking in his slightly disheveled appearance. "What happened? What did Mitchum say?" Panic and concern were etched on her lovely face. "Tell me what he said. How much trouble are we in? What are we going do?"
Logan looked at her and just smiled. Any and all anxieties were gone. At that moment, there was only her. There was only Rory. And he just smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" she wondered. "What's going on, Logan?"
Logan pulled her into his arms and just held her, breathing her in. He wanted to remember this moment forever—the way she looked, the way she smelled, the way she felt in his arms. This was his perfect moment. He held her tighter and lost himself for just a little bit longer.
While Logan was savoring the moment, Rory was panicking. Logan hadn't said a single a word. And he was smiling, which was not the typical reaction following what she imagined was a fairly unpleasant conversation with Mitchum. And he was eerily calm. Again, not Logan's usual post-Mitchum state of mind.
"Logan, please talk to me. Tell me what happened with your dad," she pleaded as he continued to hold her close.
Logan pulled just far enough out of her embrace to look into her eyes. He smiled and despite her growing anxiety, she smiled back.
"What is going on, Logan? And why are you smiling? Aren't we in pretty big trouble?"
Logan took a deep breath and said it. "I love you, Rory." He was surprised at how easy it was to say. "I'm in love with you."
Rory was speechless. She was preparing to hear the worst. She was not at all expecting that.
"I love you," he repeated. "And really that's all that matters right now. Whatever fall out may come of my father knowing about us—and trust me, there will be fall out—I don't care. As long as I have you, I know I'll be all right. We'll be all right. I will endure any brand of torture my father comes up with because all that matters to me is you. Just you. I never thought I could feel this way about anyone."
"Logan," she managed to whisper. She didn't know what to say.
"You make me so happy, Ace." Logan hadn't thought about what to say beyond those three words, but it all came pouring out. "I'm so happy I kissed you under that mistletoe all those years ago." They both laughed a bit at the memory. "I'm so happy I asked you to dance with me that first night you were back. I'm so happy you let me kiss you that night. And I'm so incredibly happy you've let me do a lot of things to you since that night," he added in a husky tone. He pulled her back into an embrace and kissed along her neck. "In my dorm room, in your bedroom, in your shower, in my car, on my boat, in the library, in the rain—thanks to you I'll never look at the rain in quite the same way again." Logan found her lips and kissed her until they were both a bit breathless. "And last night, being with you. Last night was the greatest night of my life."
"And even though it took four years of separation, I'm so happy we found each other. I'm so happy you chose me, Ace." Logan found her lips once more pouring all his emotion into that kiss.
Rory responded with stunned enthusiasm. She could hardly believe what Logan had just confessed. His words were so unexpected and beautiful, and despite priding herself in being a writer, she couldn't seem to find words of her own. So instead, she put all of herself into that kiss. Kissing Logan was like breathing—she needed it to live.
Logan very gently, but very purposefully moved them toward the waiting bed. His intent was very clear as his hands began undoing the buttons on Rory's blouse. He was pushing the material off her shoulders just as they reached the bed. Logan moved his lips to her neck as he lowered them onto the mattress. Rory was more than willing to let him take the lead. Still reeling from his declaration, and still too stunned to respond properly, Rory was all too willing to express her feelings physically. Logan had managed to undress her almost completely before the rational part of her brain realized how truly significant the last few minutes of her life had been. Just as Logan was about to unclasp her bra, Rory put her hands on his chest to stop him.
"Wait." She looked into his hungry, lust-filled eyes and tried to catch her breath. "Wait."
"What's wrong?" Logan asked. His emotions were running high and all he could think about doing was showing his girl how much he meant what he'd just said. And the sight of her in just her bra and barely there panties was almost more than he could handle.
"Say it again," said Rory.
It took him a half second to realize what she meant. Logan smiled and gently stroked her cheek before happily granting her request. "I love you, Ace."
A smile exploded onto her face. "One more time," she begged.
Logan laughed. "I love you." He was more than happy to comply.
He couldn't help but laugh. Only his Rory could make the situation turn playful. "I love you. I love you. I love you," he repeated.
Rory giggled and pulled him in for kiss, and just as their lips were about to touch she finally found the words. "I love you too," she whispered before kissing him soundly.
Logan hardly had time to let the words sink in before he was lost in a passionate kiss. He tried desperately to regain control of the situation, but couldn't find the strength to tell his body to stop. He was in bed with his beautiful, nearly naked girlfriend and all he wanted was to lose himself in the pleasure he knew her body would provide. How he managed to stop them, he'll never know.
"You say it again," he demanded of her.
Rory was half lost to her own lust, but coherent enough to laugh at his request. "Say what again?" she asked feigning innocence.
"You know what," said Logan. "Say it again."
"I...don't know what you mean," she continued to tease him.
"Come on," he demanded and began tickling her sides. "Say it."
Rory laughed uncontrollably and made halfhearted attempts to push Logan's hands off her. "No," stated defiantly.
"Rory," he tried to sound annoyed, but the expression of pure joy on his face betrayed him.
"Logan," she mimicked his tone.
Logan laughed again. He didn't think it was possible to be this happy. He could literally feel it coming out of his pores and it was all because of the amazing woman in his arms. "I love you, Ace."
That's all she needed to hear before surrendering their little game. "I love you too, Logan."
"See, was that so hard?" he asked.
"No," she replied with a playful smile. "It really rolls of the tongue. I love you, Logan." The two lay there in a happy, comfortable silence. After a few minutes, Logan wiggled out of his shirt and pants, which were both halfway off anyway thanks to the amorous activities they were engaged in just minutes before. Now much more comfortable in just his boxers, he pulled Rory into a comfortable embrace.
"Do you remember that fancy dollhouse you used to have?" he asked her suddenly.
"I think Richard and Emily brought it back from Europe," he continued.
"What?" she asked genuinely perplexed at the sudden turn in the topic of conversation. "Why are you asking about a dollhouse?"
"You don't remember?"
Rory wasn't sure where he was going with this. "My dollhouse? Yeah. It was a gift from my grandparents for my seventh birthday. It was really beautiful," she recalled. "Lots of tiny details—furniture, books, the doors and windows opened and shut. And it even had working lights in all the rooms and a chandelier. Why are you asking about that thing?"
"Do you remember what happened to it?"
Still confused, she thought for a moment and replied, "Kevin happened to it. I think I was nine or ten at the time and I don't remember the exact details, but somehow he accidentally set it on fire. I remember my mom and I spent the morning in Stars Hallow and when we got home, there was a pile of ashes in the middle of the family room and Kevin was grounded. My dad was furious—like scary furious. I mean he could have burned the whole house down. Kevin was only allowed out of his room for school. And I was so angry I wouldn't speak to him for weeks. I remember loving that dollhouse." Rory hadn't thought about that in years. "What on earth made you ask about that?"
"Ummm….well, what happened that day wasn't exactly Kevin's fault," he stated.
"What do you mean?"
"Ummm….well, it's possible that it was me who burned down your dollhouse," he confessed. Logan had the decency to look ashamed at that admission. "Sorry."
"What? How? Why?" Rory was perplexed.
"It was an accident," said Logan. "It was the middle of winter and freezing so me and Kevin decided to get a fire going. In hindsight, we probably should have asked your dad to do it for us, but I figured how hard could it be?"
"You set that fire," said Rory, "not Kevin."
"Yeah….again, sorry. I know I should have been honest back then, but I had just gotten suspended from school the week before and my parents would have killed me so Kevin took the blame."
"Why exactly are you telling me this now?" she wondered.
"Well, you just told me you loved me," he said with that famous smirk. "I figured if there was ever a moment you'd be majorly forgiving, it would be now."
Rory stared at him with a blank expression for a few seconds before bursting into laughter. "Are you serious?"
"Yeah. You still love me right?"
She laughed even harder.
"Yes," she assured him, "I still love you."
"See. It worked." He kissed her head and settled her back into his arms.
"You're ridiculous," she admonished. "Anything else you'd like to confess?"
Logan paused for a moment to gauge Rory's expression. "Ummm…yeah. There's more."
"Do you remember your illustrated copy of A Christmas Carol that went missing about six or seven years ago?"
Rory sat up and glared at him. "Seriously?"
"The book was on Kevin's desk so I figured it was his. I was bored so picked it up and started reading it. It's a good book," he commented.
"I know!" shouted Rory. She'd been looking for that book for years.
"I was just going to borrow it."
"Borrow implies asking first," she pointed out.
"I didn't think it would be a big deal and I swear I was going to give it back. When I came over the next day, you were so angry with Kevin, accusing him of taking it and losing it. And Kev was all flustered trying to find it and I thought that was funny," he said somewhat sheepishly. "So I figured I'd hold onto it for a few days—as a joke. But then I forgot about it and you didn't bring it up again until Christmas the next year. And you were still blaming Kevin and it was still funny, so I kept it."
"You still have it?"
"Yeah, it's in my room."
Rory, ever protective of her books, was annoyed, but amused. "I want it back, Logan."
"No problem, Ace," he said as he pulled her back into his embrace. "But would mind continuing to accuse your brother of losing it? It really would be a shame to let this gag die after I've kept it going for all these years."
"You are seriously ridiculous." Rory tried not to find humor in his request, but failed. "I'll think about it," she said laughing with him. "You and Kevin really do enjoy torturing each other, don't you?"
Logan laughed in response and then found her lips, kissing her thoroughly. He made sure she was breathless and full of desire before he moved on to his next confession. "Do you remember the fall dance when you were in sixth grade?"
Rory was completely disarmed by that kiss. "What?"
"Your sixth grade dance?"
"I didn't go to that sixth grade dance," she recalled almost painfully. "I was supposed to go. My friend Danny asked me, but he got sick and cancelled the day before the dance."
"Yeah….about that," started Logan.
Rory sat up again and this time, the glare she gave him was much more pronounced. "What did you do?"
"It wasn't all me," defended Logan. "It was actually Kevin's idea. And besides that Danny kid was a loser, so really we did you a favor."
"What did you do?" repeated Rory.
"We may have threatened him," said Logan, "but just a little bit."
"Why would you do that?"
"Well, when Kevin found out he asked you, he wasn't too happy about it, so he and I had a chat with your friend Danny." Logan remembered Danny as a shy, bookish kid with a huge crush on Rory—not that she noticed. However, Kevin certainly took notice of the way the younger boy would look at his sister and he didn't like that one bit. "We only meant to scare him—make sure his intentions were honorable," said Logan. "We just wanted to make sure he didn't try anything. Honestly, we didn't mean to scare him enough to fake being sick and stand you up."
"I can't believe you did that."
"Sorry, Ace." Logan really was sorry. He was sorry then and he was sorry now. He remembered that night distinctly. He and Kevin were sick to their stomachs with guilt when they heard Danny cancelled on Rory. They didn't feel bad enough to confess their sins, nor did their guilt stop them from going to that dance themselves—but they still felt bad that Rory ended up staying home that night.
"I was so humiliated," she recalled. "You realize that would have been my first school dance and Danny only asked me as a friend."
Logan shook his head and looked at her in disbelief. He knew Rory was pretty naïve back then, but he figured by now she would realize Danny was interested in more than just being her friend.
"Mom bought me a new dress and everything. And Danny was not a loser—he was my friend and he was a really nice boy."
"Are you mad?" asked Logan.
"I knew there was a reason he suddenly stopped talking to me," she said ignoring his question. "I can't believe you threatened him."
Logan paused for a moment before speaking again. "In the interest of full disclosure, our threatening him was why he cancelled on you. There's a whole other reason why he completely stopped talking to you."
Rory stared at him with wide eyes. "What else did you and my brother do?"
"Like I said, initially, we just wanted to scare him," insisted Logan. "But Kevin was pretty pissed off that he cancelled on you."
"He cancelled because of you and Kevin," Rory pointed out.
"I know that," he admitted "But he hurt your feelings and that wasn't cool, so we kind of, maybe, possibly, pushed him around a little bit."
"You beat him up?" she asked in disbelief.
"No," insisted Logan. "We just pushed him. To the ground. A few times. And your brother yelled at him. A lot. And we may have made him swear never to go near you again. That's all."
"That's all? You traumatized that poor boy. No wonder he ran off every time I tried talking to him."
Logan chuckled and attempted to pull her back into his arms, but she resisted. "Still love me?" he asked with a playful smirk.
Rory never could resist that smirk. "A little bit less now than I did a few minutes ago," she teased.
"Come on, Ace. You don't mean that," said Logan. He started kissing her neck in that way he knew she loved.
Rory made a half-hearted attempt to resist him. She really couldn't be angry with him for things that happened so many years ago—especially not tonight. "You really are ridiculous," she repeated in a throaty whisper. Logan had moved his lips form her neck to her right shoulder and was easing her bra strap down with his teeth.
"I know. I was a thoughtless, inconsiderate, stupid kid," he whispered against her skin. Logan's lips continued to move south. With every kiss and every touch he was forcing her to forgive and forget his silly childhood indiscretions.
Logan laughed at her teasing question as he continued his assault on her senses. He very skillfully used his lips, his teeth and his tongue to stimulate her breasts and his hands seemed to be everywhere at once. "I like to think I've grown up a bit since then," he responded. Logan unclasped her bra and tossed it aside. He paused for a moment to pay visual homage to her naked breasts before happily burying his face between them.
Rory's mind was becoming foggier by the second. "Well, I can definitely feel you growing right now," she uttered between moans.
Rory felt Logan chuckling at that comment before he bit down on her nipple and then swirled his tongue to sooth it. That move elicited a loud groan from Rory. He repeated that action over and over and over, switching from one breast to the other. Logan was relentless leaving Rory breathless and begging for more. She wrapped her legs around him silently pleading for satisfaction. Logan gave each of her breasts one last bite before climbing back up her body to find her lips.
Rory kissed him with a desperate hunger. She loved the way his lips felt on hers, the way his tongue moved against hers, the way their breathing was in perfect sync. They were so good together. Rory reached over to the bedside table and fumbled to open the drawer.
"What are you doing over there, Ace?" he asked taking his mouth momentarily off hers.
Rory pulled out a strip of condoms in response. "Please," was all she could say.
Logan flashed her a sexy smile as he happily accepted the condoms. He pushed himself off her and sat up. He gave her another teasing smile before unwinding her legs from his waist only to hoist them up against his shoulders. He began to kiss her inner thighs as he slowly eased her panties off her hips and then torturously inched them up her legs and off her body.
"Logan, please," she panted.
"Not yet, Ace." Logan was in absolutely no rush. He slowly and very deliberately kissed his way up her thighs making Rory squirm more and more. When his lips were millimeters from her center, he paused, purposely delaying her gratification, and blew against her wet and waiting folds.
Rory screamed his name in anger, frustration and anticipated ecstasy. "Please!"
Logan waited one more breath before running the flat of his tongue along her opening causing Rory to cry out and involuntarily arc her back off the bed. She nearly came apart right then. Logan loved her reaction to him. He knew she was desperate for any kind of release. He surprised her by suddenly taking his mouth off her after that one perfect sweep of his tongue. Rory only had time to let out a small whimper before that tongue was in her mouth and two long fingers pushed into her. Rory very eagerly moved against his hand, pushing and grinding and swirling her hips. She was quickly losing herself to the perfect pleasure she only knew with Logan. When he felt her start to tighten around his fingers, he surprised her again by removing those fingers and denying her satisfaction.
"Logan," she cried out as if in pain. And to be fair, he was making it deliciously painful for her.
Logan responded by finally stripping off his boxers and setting a world speed record at rolling a condom on himself. Seconds after Rory's cry of pain, she cried out in pleasure as he pushed into her with one thrust. They both groaned at the feeling of completeness they could only experience when they were together like this. Logan paused to savor the moment for a millisecond before he began moving with amazing precision to give his girl the release she'd been begging for.
Rory loved the feeling of his strong, beautiful body over hers. The sensation of having him inside her was more powerful than anything she ever imagined. She felt the pressure of her orgasm start to build once more and she knew by look in his eyes that the foreplay was over and he would not deny her again.
Logan began to move more quickly—he could see Rory was close to her end. Without breaking his rhythm, Logan lifted her hips to change the angle ever so slightly. Her reaction was a thing of beauty. Logan smiled in satisfaction at her obvious satisfaction. He then lifted her right leg and positioned her ankle against his shoulder changing the angle again and causing Rory to call out his name. With great determination, he began to pump his hips even faster. Rory clutched at his shoulders, digging her fingernails into his skin.
"Harder," she begged.
Logan almost lost it right then. Hearing his Ace say that one word literally made his cock throb. He was all too happy to comply with her request and moved against her wildly, almost violently. Within seconds, he felt Rory's body clench and convulse around him. She called out his name as she rode wave after wave of euphoric bliss. Logan slowed his movement allowing her a few seconds to catch her breath. But he wasn't quite done with her. Just as she was coming to the tail end of her high, Logan began moving his hips with a renewed enthusiasm. Rory's hypersensitive body reacted immediately. Without any warning or effort on her part, she began to feel the slow build of another orgasm. The surprise of that unexpected sensation must have registered on her face because Logan flashed her a knowing smile while looking exceptionally pleased with himself. He then took hold of her left leg and positioned it like her right so that her body was now at a ninety-degree angle against his. With a firm grip on her hips, Logan turned his head to kiss her right then her left ankle before he began to thrust into her with a determined force. In that position, it didn't take long for Rory's eyes to roll to the back of her head as she experienced the most powerful orgasm of her life. She couldn't even scream as all the energy in her body pooled at her core in a perfectly choreographed explosion that spread throughout her entire nervous system. Logan was watching her carefully and when he felt her muscles constrict around him once more, he let go of what was left of his self control and with a few hard, erratic pumps he lost himself in the pleasure only her body could give him.
Logan released her hips letting them drop to the mattress. He kissed each of her ankles again before lowering her legs and collapsing on top of her. He counted to ten in his head as he tried to regain control of his breathing. He had to count to ten four times before he felt stable enough to move. Logan gently rolled off Rory, got out of bed and limped to the bathroom to dispose of the condom.
Rory waited for him to return and couldn't help but smile as he approached the bed. The expression on Logan's face was smug to say the least. Rory snuggled into his side as soon as climbed back into the bed. "Wow," she whispered. It was all she could come with.
If it was possible, Logan managed to look even more smug. He repositioned them so they were facing each other. Logan kissed her forehead, her lips and the tip of her nose. "Wow indeed."
"That was…" she tried to find a more eloquent word. "That was…wow, Logan!" Apparently, despite her vast vocabulary, 'wow' was all she had.
Logan was just fine with that since it was pretty 'wow' for him too.
"If that's what I can expect from you after you confess to some stupid thing you did when we were kids, please feel free to unburden yourself anytime."
"Maybe tomorrow," he joked. "Trust me, there's plenty more. We haven't even touched the Finn years yet." They both laughed and Logan pulled her closer. He couldn't remember ever being this happy. "Please say it again," he asked.
Rory didn't hesitate. "I love you, Logan."
"I love you too."
Logan had no idea what tomorrow would bring. His father's knowledge of the true nature of his relationship with Rory would present a challenge—of that he was sure. He knew his father well enough to expect some form of punishment or retribution. Tomorrow was so uncertain. But at the moment, tomorrow was the furthest thing from Logan's mind. At the moment, he was only focused on tonight. And tonight, he was young, handsome, charming, wealthy and in love with the most wonderful girl in the world. More importantly, she was in love with him too.
Again, Logan Huntzberger led a truly privileged existence.
