"Don't Cry"
TsukasaXMana oneshot
I've never seen Mana cry before. I've been meaning to ask her how she feels about me—but I'm too shy to even ask. Everytime that I've seen her hurt (like from love! ) or crying—I've been too shy to even do anything. But, today would change.
I gathered up all the courage I could muster, and made my way towards her. She noticed me coming, which really caught me by surprise. I blushed a little—noticing that she was coming right towards me.
"Tsukasa…would you keep me company?"
"Of course Mana. I'll keep you company…"
She blushed a little, which caught me by surprise. She had a crush on me?! But—I've had a crush on her for…years! But, during the war, she was in love with Kaname. Wh-why would she change her mind all of a sudden?
"Tsukasa—I just wanted you to know—that I've loved you since the first time we've met."
I couldn't help, but blush though she knew how I felt about her. Before I could say anything, Tomonori-san walked up to us. I wonder what he wanted? I hope he wasn't here to tease me about my feelings towards Mana. I don't know what drew me towards her, but it could've been her personality.
"Amou," Tomonori replied, "what're you doing out here in the middle of the night?"
"I didn't want Mana to be alone, Tomonori-san. She seemed upset, so I stayed here to keep her company."
Mana blushed, realizing what I had just said. You know, when I saw her blush, I really wanted to say something that would keep her smiling for the longest time. Though, before I turned to leave, I noticed a couple of tears fall down her face.
"Don't cry, Mana-san. I don't like seeing you upset."
"I-I'll try, Tsukasa-kun…" Mana replied, wiping the tears from her eyes.
"Don't try. Promise me." I replied, with a small smile playing on my lips.
"Okay, Tsukasa-kun. I promise."
And with that, I walked home with a huge smile on my face. Though, all I could hear was the "pitter-patter" of Tomonori-san's shoes hitting the concrete as he hurried after me.
