Disclaimer: Let me see... last time I checked I was a girl with a normal life. I don't own Hannah Montana. Obviously.
My birthday was today. No not was, my bithday is today. Looking at all my guests, I hope for one of them to arrive, Jake Ryan. I really do hope he comes because he is the only one that can give me a birthday present I really want.
"Do you really think he'll come?" I ask, still keeping my face looking straight at the front door. Lilly rolls her eyes, I can see it from the corner of my eyes. She puts her hand on my right cheek and pushes it so my face is facing her face.
"Miley, get a grip, stop worrying!" Lilly scolds me like I am a baby. I really wish I can think of a comeback right now but I'm too worried to think about anything. I snap out of my trance and stare hard at Lilly.
"Where's the cake Jackson was supposed to pick up. Weren't you supposed to go with him?" Lilly blinks innocently and smiles. Wow, she is bad at this.
"Weeellll..." She stalls to think of a plan. I roll my eyes and smile. I never should have trusted Jackson with the cake. I mean cm'on, it's my fourteenth birthday, you'd think he learns. I walk to my dad and I still keep my mind straight about Jake. I can't stop thinking. I try to push the thoughts out of my head but it won't go away.
"Daddy, I need my list. Danny just arrived. Dandruff Danny, I mean." I hold my hand out paitently, waiting for the white paper. I don't understand how I can pretend to be so patient but I am so anxious to see him inside. Just thinking about it makes my head hurt!
"How many people are here?" My dad asks. He takes out a thick peice of white paper from his pocket and unfolds it. Then he hands it to me. I snatch it from him quickly and scan the words until I see the words Dandruff Danny and I cross it out with my 'autograph pen'. Jake Ryan, the last person that needs to arrive.
"Everyone is here except for one." I say and I look up from the list. "There are twenty-four people here to be exact. So what's the cake delay?"
My dad sighs and points to the kitchen.
"Oh no he didn't!" I start to say but I stop once I see a big pink vanilla cake move out of the door.
"He baked a CAKE?" I exclaim. 'Why that boy is so dumb, he doesn't understand how two plus two equals four.' I say in my mind. I see Oliver kissing Lilly, woah wait, REWIND! Oliver is kissing Lilly? I better go check that out. I smile innocently when I get there. They pull apart and Lilly and Oliver blush crismon red.
"It's-" Lilly start to say but I cut her off.
"Seee told ya, you guys would make a great couple!" I taunt. I keep my mind of my most wanted birthday present. At least Lilly gets her kiss. I hope my kiss comes soon.
"Okay fine." Lilly says. "Is Jake here yet?"
I shake my head dissapointly and sigh.
"Oh yeah, Jake told me to tell you that he couldn't make it." Oliver remembers. I slap him on the arm. "OW!"
"Why didn't you tell me you donut! I've been waiting for him!" I slap him again. I'm just so angered. I'll never get my kiss.
"Sorry." Lilly says. When I hear the door burst open, I know it's not him. But I turn around anyway and I'm wrong. It is him.
"Jake!" I exclaim, running to him.
"Hey, I made it." Jake says and he smiles cockingly. I can't say anything right now and I am lucky, because I needed my lips for something else. I finally got my birthday present and it's a present I will never forget. My kiss with Jake Ryan.
