Theme:Summer

Prompt: Ice cream

Ichigo hardly even liked the summer weather. It was way too hot, and it was boring around town. All of his friends were gone during summer, so he had no where to go. Now that Rukia was around, summer wasn't so bad.

He took her out to see fireworks with his family, and even took her out on picnics. Today, he was planning to take her out to buy ice cream. Ichigo just hoped that there were no hollows running about. He was tired of destroying hollows left and right, but that was his job.

Ichigo couldn't complain if they showed up. He had promised to protect both Earth and the Soul Society.

"Ichigo! Ichigo!" Rukia shouted, trying to get his attention. And, it eventually worked.

"Huh? What is it Rukia?" Ichigo asked, turning to the raven-haired girl.

"What're we doing today?"

"Hmmm… I thought that we'd go get ice cream."

"What's ice cream?" Rukia asked, giving Ichigo a confused look.

"It's a frozen treat, that contains sweetened cream. It's more commonly known as sweet snow."

And, with that—Ichigo took Rukia to the local ice cream parlor. Now, the only thing that he was going to have to worry about was how to teach her to eat the delicious treat.
