Pillow Thief

Ron sighed as he watched his boyfriend mumble in his sleep and turn over. He really didn't feel like dealing with a tired and stubborn Draco Malfoy. He already had to deal with his very hung-over Chudley Cannons captain, his irate mother (who still doesn't understand why Ron just doesn't settle down with a nice girl instead of Draco), an annoying crowd of giggling girls who would not leave him alone until he signed everything they had, and now Ron had to try to get his only pillow back from his sleeping boyfriend.

In all, today was not one of Ron's best days.

"Draco, come on! Give me back my pillow. I'm tired!" Ron attempted to take back the stolen pillow, but the blonde pulled it out of his grasp and buried his head into it. The redhead sighed and sat on the bed. Silently, he counted the various pillows that his boyfriend was using. Five. Six, including mine. "Merlin, Dray. I can't believe that you really need six pillows to sleep." Ron chuckled as he gently stroked the sleeping blonde's hair.

"Shut up. I only use six pillows because I don't like it when my head is parallel with my body." Draco's sluggish voice mumbled, startling Ron. He quickly removed his hand away from the blonde's head, causing Draco to whine. "Don't stop. That felt good."

"Tough luck, Dray. Now give me back my pillow."

Draco pouted and turned to look at Ron. With his sleep-ruffled hair and his crumpled satin pajamas, Ron couldn't help but to place a light kiss on his boyfriend's head. Draco made a noise and swatted the redhead away. "I like using your pillow. I don't think I want to give it back."

"And why don't you want to give it back? I would really like to have it so I can get some rest some time tonight." There was a slight edge in Ron's voice as he leaned in toward Draco, who only grinned and snuggled deeper into the pillow.

"It smells like you."

"Pardon?" Ron tilted his head, causing Draco to blush.

"I like the fact that I can feel so close to you when you're not around, when if it is just through your pillow." Ron smiled. He loved it when Draco became sentimental. It was so unlike the blonde, and it was a nice break from the usual sarcastic smartass that was Draco.

He thought over what his boyfriend had said and sighed. "Alright, fine. Draco, I have a deal for you." The blonde's eyes stared at Ron, silently telling him to continue. "I will let you lay on me—not your whole body though—as long as I can have my pillow back." Draco considered Ron's deal before swiftly sitting up in the bed.

"I accept your deal. Now lay down."

And that was how Ron found himself lying on his back with one hand underneath his pillow, and the other resting on a sleeping Draco's waist. The blonde was almost completely lying on Ron, but it didn't bother him. Draco wasn't heavy, and Ron was too comfortable to move him anyway. Looking down, the redhead watched as his boyfriend slept, and, soon, he felt his own eyelids droop. It wasn't long before Ron was sound asleep, curled up with his lover.

And that was perfectly fine with the redhead.

:cringes at the ending: I don't know. I don't really like the ending, but I couldn't think of anything else. I hope you like the story though anyway!
