Another CSI Fan Fiction
It's been a month since Sara Sidle was brutally beaten. Of course since she is part of the CSI team, they caught the guy in a matter of days. The only problem was she has been in a coma ever since that day and the doctors are insisting they pull the plug, but they keep telling that she's stubborn and will wake up. One-Day passes then another and another and no luck. No one gives up especially Greg Sanders. He has loved her almost the minute he saw her but never had the courage to tell her. Heck Grissom, Nick and even David like's her so in his mind he doesn't stand a chance. Now she's in a coma. Considering they were fighting before…it…. happened he thinks she hates him. So he sits with her when ever he can telling her what's been going on in the lab, how everyone there needs her to wake up and that he especially needs her to wake up so he can tell her he loves her and spend the rest of his life with her. And mostly he's Sorry forever yelling at her and that he hopes she doesn't hate him.
Little does he know she can hear him and desperately wants to scream out that she loves him to and that she could never hate him. She wanted to wake but part her was being selfish and didn't want to join the outside world where anything could happen instead she wanted to stay here where it was always peaceful and nothing bad happens. But day after day people telling her how she needs to wake up and that they know she can was slowly tearing at her heart. Knowing she was causing all these people, her friends, pain. Mostly she just wanted to hold Greg, make love, tell him she loves him, kiss him every day, and never leave his side. But again her other half was wishing they'd stop hoping and pull the plug already.
This game went on. Greg poring his heart out and hoping she wakes up and Sara pretending she can't hear him and not waking up. That is until a year had passed and the CSI team had finally pulled the plug on their friend and coworker. Many hearts were broken that day and no ones eyes were dry the day they put her in the ground. The only good thing that came out of that is they not only did they charge Tom Austin with assault but now murder so he got life in prison with no parole. Every Day Greg would visit her grave and read the inscription over and over again running his hands over the rough gray tombstone.
