She had lost the man that she has loved.
He had died earlier that day by himself.
She wondered now what she was going to do now.
Without him, she did not want to live.
Hermione would continue living, but living without his love.

As Severus lay dying
He thought of the love he had for Hermione.
For he was never going to see her again
She was the love of his life.
It made it harder to accept that he was dying.
And could not do anything about it.
Severus was dying by himself.

A light shone down on Severus
He felt, warm all over
Was this a taste of heaven that he felt?
He saw a person smiling at him.
It was an angel.
She told him it was not his time to die.
That he would be completely healed.
He would be free to love Hermione again.

The light dimmed, and disappeared.
He realized that he was totally healed.
Severus would be free to love Hermione.
That love was alive and free.

Hermione was crying as she walked along the lake by the castle.
She saw Severus standing there, straight and tall.
Hermione started to run towards him.
Severus saw Hermione running towards him.
He had his arms open wide to receive her.

Hermione cried with joy for she had her love back.
Never to be separated again.
The two of them walked back to the castle hand in hand.
