Teddy Lupin walks to his dormitory for the last time. Tomorrow, he will be graduating from Hogwarts, to leave this place forever. In truth, he thinks, he will be back, but not for himself.
As the tall boy with teal hair crosses the Entrance Hall, he spares himself a glance to the tall monument in the center of the grand room.
The marble slab that has too many names etched into it. There are names of the living and the dead, the heroes and the fallen. The single warriors and the people that grouped together to fight for what was right.
Teddy Lupin turns to the memorial and gives it a slight nod, just like he does every time he passes by, as a silent expression of gratitude for the lives given in return for the peaceful existence now.
