A merman on a chariot pulled by two dolphins goes into a stadium-like place where other merpeople are waiting for him. His name was King Brock and he was waiting for his daughters' performance to begin. A small Kingler named Sebastian waved his conducting instrument to begin the song and at once the orchestra began. When 4 clams opened 2 reveal mermaids who began singing:

We are the daughters of Brock

Great father who loves us and named us well

Jenny(ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

Ivy (ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

Jessie (ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

May(ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

Joy(ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

Cassidy(ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)

And there the youngest in her musical debut

A sentimental sister, we're presenting her to you

To sing a song Sebastian wrote her voice is like a bell

She's our sister, Mi-i

Upon realizing their sister Misty was gone, they gasped and King Brock became angry and said, "Misty!"

Meanwhile Misty was swimming with her friend the flounder Dawn exploring for treasure and forgetting she had a performance today. She and Dawn swam to an abandoned shipwreck and Misty began looking around. What fascinated her was the pipe and the fork she found in one part. She showed the fork to Dawn and Dawn said, "Cool, what is it?" Misty says, "I don't know, but I'll bet Scuttle will." She put the two items in her yellow bag. After being chased by a shark, they get to Scuttle's nest on a rock. Misty said, Scuttle, "I found some human stuff." Misty first shows him the fork and he says, "Oh my goodness!" Mist gets excited and says, "What? What is it?" Scuttle says, "It's a dinglehopper. Humans use these to style their hair." Then she shows him the pipe and he says, "This is a snarfblat, humans use this to make fine music." It was then that Misty remembered the performance. Misty said, "Music? Oh no the concert my father is gonna kill me." Dawn says, "The concert was today?" She puts the pipe and fork back in her yellow bag and says, "Bye Scuttle." She then swims away with Dawn.
