Discalimer: NOT MINE (Had to say it...wish it was though!)
A/N: Set post-hogwarts...but before Harry was even a twinkle in his fathers eye! Well...maybe he was a twinkle at that point...

Remus awoke to a strange noise, well it wasn't strange in that he had never heard it before, however it was strange in the fact that it seemed to be coming from his bed. "Pa'foo'?" He murmured sleepily reaching over to where he believed his lover was sleeping, but it was empty. Suddenly, there was a flash of light through the curtains followed by a deep resounding crack of thunder. Although Moony didnt jump he felt the vibrations reverberate through his entire being. This noise was quickly accompanied by that noise again, accept now he released it was a whimper. And it wasnt coming from his bed but under his bed.

Rubbing the last of remnants of sleep from his eyes Remus slid off the bed and crouched down on the floor, peering underneath. With a quick bit of wandless, wordless magic a ball of light lit up the small space where a shaking Padfoot could be seen. "Hey, shhh Sirius, it's okay...come out." But just as it looked as though Padfoot was about to make his way out another bout of thunder and lightning shook the room and he cowered even further into his sanctuary.

"The things I do for love," Remus mumbled under his breath, although he was quite aware that with his highly tuned ears Padfoot could hear him easily. With a deep breath and a small groan Remus managed to wiggle himself under their bed and get close enough to Padfoot to stroke his fur, just behind his ears. "Come on, with all the wards around this place it's amazing we can even see the lightning, I promise it's no threat." Comforting words didn't seem to be doing the trick, so with another sigh he changed tactics.

"Well, if you can't sleep, we could find something else to do? Something distracting? You know with both of us doing so much work for the Order we deserve a little playtime." Remus said his voice deep and husky, normally something Sirius couldn't resist. It didn't seem to be helping much as he just continued to whimper as the storm continued, and it seemed to be approaching. Damn! Moony was running out of ideas. "I'm not staying under here all night y'know." Racking his brain, Remus came up with another tactic, and it bloody well better work before he broke his back.

"I'm pretty sure there's an uneaten chocolate cream pie in the fridge, and if I'm not mistaken there's a Werewolf movie marathon on the telly." No sooner had the words left his mouth then Padfoot dashed from under the bed and down the stairs. For some unknown reason Sirius seemed to have a soft spot for muggle movies, especially bad muggle horror movies. The chocolate was just a bonus. With a grown, Remus managed to manoeuvre his way out from under the bed, and with a quick stop in the kitchen to grab the pie he made his way into the living room.

He was a little surprised to see 'Sirius' and not 'Padfoot' as he usually preferred to be comforted in his dog form, but there he sat looking disturbingly un-Sirius like as he gave Remus the most pathetic look. "Can you silence the noise though? Please?"

Remus shook his head while performing the simple spell, as if Sirius couldn't have done that himself. And come to think of it, why hadn't he done that instead of hiding under the bed and waking him up? Turning to glare at Sirius he saw him attempt to look innocent, not missing the glint in his silver eyes. The prat had known the marathon was on! Couldn't he just ask Remus to watch it with him like any normal person? While, he wouldn't quite be Sirius if he had.
