Hello everyone, I'm sorry this isn't an actual chapter but more of an update for those still following this story or just found this story and reached this point. I'm writing this to show that I do still care about my readers and that I did not fall off the edge of the world, though it might feel like I did.

I know that it has been a very long time since I've been here and I know that I promised that I wouldn't abandon the story and that I would update more often... but unfortunately life changed my plans again.

After I had Liam, my third son, I developed Postpartum Depression and wasn't very interested in writing anything anymore.

Then a few months later my grandmother got sick. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, which shows no symptoms until it is too late and after that I spent most my time with her. Helping her and just spending time with her while she fought and then while she was on hospice. After her death I moved in with my grandfather to help him out with general life as he mourned as well as my six year old cousin who he and my grandmother had custody of. Between all of that—the depression, the grief and the overwhelming amount of duties I had—I lost all interest in writing.

And though I felt guilty whenever I received a new review, I just... couldn't... if that makes any sense.

However, life has changed for me again, my grandfather is okay and my husband and I bought a house a few blocks away from him so I'm still able to take care of him but he has his own space and we have ours.

I'm starting to finally truly feeling like me again. And because I found myself, I've also found what I left behind so I bought a computer so I can write again. There are a lot of things I wanted to change as my style has changed over the years and there are a few things in the story that I'd like to completely overhaul. But I realize it would be unfair to just take it down and start over, especially since my life is still hectic. So I'm just going to move forward.

I've learned my lesson on promises though. So I won't make any promises other than the one that I will not quit writing. I can't guarantee how often I'll update—being a mother of three boys aged two, four and six leaves me pretty busy—but know that I will update as often as I can.

Thank you all for your patience and thank you for reading.
