I sat as still as a statue, not even breathing, starring at the mahogany coffin holding my beloved. No I reminded myself she's not mind: hasn't been for nearly eighty years. As if god was proving my point I heard one of her daughters let out a sob and a man, her husband comfort her. I knew this because I searched, or as my family put it mind raped, the people at the funeral. Speaking of my family they to had come too. To my right sat Carlisle, Emmett, and then Rosalie. To my left sat Esme, Alice then Jasper. I knew that they missed her, as much I as I did, so I was not surprised to see that even Rosa was dry sobbing. I sat through her family and friends tell stories about Bella. Or Izzie, as they had know her.
I guessed she changed her name when she moved from Forks to Dog River in Canada (A/N I don't know if that really is a place I just heard about it in a show I watch). A small town, smaller that Forks even. I could tell that my family was even surprised that Bella who complained about the cold and how small Forks was would move there. I also found out that Bella met her husband in collage. Her major was English and his Criminal Justice (A/N I don't know how collage works so if that's not what majors mean sorry). And that she met all her friends when she became a famous author. I also found out Bella never moved on. Always living with my families and I memory.
When her daughter came up she told a story of how her dad, Andy and Bella met.
(Flashback)
Bella was sitting on a bench starring at a blank sheet of paper alone. Andy had always liked her from the moment she stepped foot into the campus, but never had the courage to talk to her. That changed that day. With his friends watching and laughing at him he slowly walked up to her and sat down. She didn't notice until he let out a shaky "Hi". Her head flew up and only calmed down when she realized it was only Andy. She smiled but didn't say anything. He started to ramble out of nervousness and though she only talked to shut him up. That started the relationship that lasted for more than 60 years. They date for two years and got married a week after graduation and had already been living together for a couple months. They had their first kid, twins, Sam and Lucas. They had their second kid, William or Will six years later. Then two years later they had their third and last son Kevin. They were a happy family and did everything together. But Bella always talked about adoption. She never mentioned names, but said this one family she knew had all adopted kids and loved how their family was made up of people who weren't even close to being related. So a couple months later at ages 30 and 32 they adopted two little girls.
Years passed by, all the kids graduated and some had kids of their own and before anyone knew it Bella was 76 years old. That year Andy had a heart attack leaving the world one less husband and father. Bella stayed strong and lived life like Andy would have wanted her to be, but after five years god had other plans. And hear we all are, three months until her 81 birthday.
I had decided to stay back as every one said their goodbyes, but I did stay while they buried her in the ground. As soon as the first pile of dirt hit the solid oak coffin with a resounding 'plop', I took off running.
I don't know what I was running from. Possibly the memories, but its not like it helped. The trees, which unfortunally were coved in "green stuff", flew by me. All the while reminding how the running scared the crap out of Bella. The wet soft mud squishing as my shoes barley touched the ground didn't help at all. I don't know how long I ran, all I know is I finally collapsed in a heap of white sparkling snow, weeping for my lost love.
