THE WALL BY LEAHK80

He is a rock, a stone cold rock. A wall surrounds him, protecting him and anyone he chooses. But the rock has little fissures, cracks winding their way around and thru the stone.

One by one they fracture, widen and deepen at each little hurt that assails him. He pretends that they don't hurt under that smartass attitiude he shows the world, but they do. He stuffs them down and locks them away, those hurts that are not stopped by the wall.
