Town Zero

I am tired of

telling lies.

I am tired of

everyone blaming me

for everything.

I am tired of

getting hurt everyday.

Now is the time

to tell you the bitter

truth.

I am a

hero,

not town

zero.

I am saving

you,

fighting for

you,

risking my life,

everyday

just so you could just walk through

the streets with no fear

of getting hurt.

Not me,

I am out there,

fighting,

taking every punch

and every kick for you.

And what do I get

in return?

Nothing.

Not even a simple

thank you.

You just blame me

for everything

I didn't do.

And I bet you don't care,

You have no

clue

what I've been through, and

what I have given up

so you could

live out your tedious

lives.

You have no clue.

I have been

injured and almost killed

so many times that

I lost count,

because I was

protecting you.

I am

a hero.

Can't you

figure that out?
