I do not own Death NOte or L, though I really really want L for myself... =(
It was hard sometimes, watching him go out into the cold, hard world to protect people who didn't care or tended to throw away their lives. He solved so many problems, put away so many terrible, horrible criminals, and yet she still felt like she owed him all and more than what she had to offer. Hardly anybody knew where her allegiances lie, and at this point in the world's history, it was best. Except for a small gothic L on her necklace, behind a locket, no one would ever be able to tell that she, Andria Montrose was a supporter of L.
Did she know him or him her? No, but in her heart of hearts, Andria knew that she would always love him, no matter what he looked like or how he acted towards others, for it was his actions that made her love him without cause or thought. Thus, Andria went through her day, doing all that she could to abide by the law and to help others when those around them would turn their heads away from the scene. She would do everything to protect those who her own personal Jesus couldn't reach directly. It was a hard blow for her to see him fall in the people's eyes before Kira, as Kira rose towards God status in the world. It made her heart ache for the one man who could save the unsuspecting from the terrible.
It was one, rainy day that she was walking along the damp streets of Tokyo, when she looked up into the sky. Bells, bells were ringing in the distance, which was odd because it was not Sunday, nor were any weddings being held any longer in those churches. People in their mania over Kira, had begun to conduct their religious business in his name. Churches were sad, lonely places now, where only the poor and the destitute haunted their lonesome halls and rooms. Andria did her best to avoid those places. However, bells had been ringing and she looked up to see a lone figure standing on the roof of one of the fancier buildings, alone in the pouring rain.
I hope that they are alright, or that they will be.
It seemed as if the figure was a guardian watching over her, looking out for those who wished her harm. Andria smiled to herself and wished the stranger luck as she continued on her way.
