TAILS OF THE CLOWN

A man sprinted down a wet road, it was raining, and he almost fell to the ground. He was panicking as he could feel the clown still following him. He owed him a lot of money. The man collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.

"Aha, ha, ha, did you really think … you would … get away without me … playing a little game?" he sniggered, with humor in his voice.

"You're a sick freak!" the man shouted back at him, spitting at his face.

"Now…that's not nice. Is it because of the scars? Do they scare ya?"

The man lay crying, dreading to think the pain he was going to have to deal with later, the sick and twisted horror that he would have to face.

"Do you wanna know how I got them? Okay, well… when I was a kid … I always behind… with all the ... hmm, what do you call it? School work, and I was always miserable, I never really had many friends, apart from my doll, what was his name? Smiley. I wanted to be like Smiley. He was always… smiling! So I… me… I found a knife… from my mothers… what do you call it? Kitchen. And I slit my cheeks from my mouth… so then… I was always smiling just like... Smiley!"

"You really must have been a lonely little child," the man said.

The Joker then suddenly shoved a knife in to the man's leg.

"Do you like the pain?! Haaha! I love it, you see… that's why … I … me … never use guns… they're just too quick! You cant savor all the little… pieces," he said, over the screams of the man.

"You see, you … yes…you, you messed with the wrong guy…you see… like me… you're a criminal… except you're a…hmm, what do you call it…fugitive. Me, they're never… never, going to get me… I'm a professional… criminal… combined with a … clown,"

"Why don't you just kill me!" the man screamed, in the pouring rain.

"Kill you?! Ha! Kill you! I'm not going to kill you! Your going to be like these," the joker stated, pointing behind him.

Behind him stood five strange looking men, all dressed like clowns, freaky looking people.

"I'll never! Never become one of you!" the man shouted.

"Fair enough," the joker said, then suddenly shoving a knife into his throat.

The Joker giggled as blood came gushing out of the man's throat.

"Lets go, boys, shame about that, I thought me and him… could be… friends," the Joker said, as him and his team of clowns walked into the darkness.
