ok people here is the intro to my story, yeah i know not much info but i have to start somewhere. also i am almost done with the first chapter, i just need to adjust it. so please don't be to harsh
brief summary of what this story will be about:
basically there was a profecy stating the one with the power to vanquish the dark lord... well ok you know it so no need to write it all, will be the same. so voldemort tries to kill harry, harry survives and link between voldemort and harry is created, now just how this link will interfer with things is unknown, you'll find out by second chapter. anyways harry is going to be dark, so i'm warning you now. time fic. harry and tom, no slash between them maybe with other characters but haven't decided yet. oh and ofcoarse you all know i don't own harry potter. enjoy!
On the 31st of October a tragic yet fascinating event took place. You see in the wizarding world a war was going on, and the leader of the "dark" side also known as Lord Voldemort, You-Know-Who, or the Dark Lord had targeted the Potters. To be specific he was after Harry Potter. Now even to this day people will wonder why a powerful dark lord would want to destroy an infant, and while a select few think they know only two people would ever truly know the truth. During war it is common knowledge that there will be deaths, but it is still a sad event, even more so when a young couple recently wed and with a child is murdered. The truly incredible fact in this is that said child lived, even after being struck with a killing curse. You see no one has ever survived a killing curse, thus dubbing the child The-Boy-Who-Lived. Even more so fascinating is the fact that the caster of the killing curse is the one who died. And so the war in the wizarding world came to a temporary end.
In another part of the country a very old man dressed in lavender robes was making the second biggest mistake in his very long existence. For you see while this certain old man, also known as Albus Dumbledore, thought that he could protect little harry only he went about it the wrong way. It is often said that people have destinies, and while there are certain events that seem to be set, the course and choices we make as we pass these events are so delicate that ones choice or action can often create a whole new path for others to follow. It is like a pond causing rippling effects and one cannot see which course it will take when multiple ripples collide. And so Albus Dumbledore sent Harry to live with the Dursleys. The Dursleys of course being the worst sort of muggles, non magic folk, you'd ever meet. It is said when one grows old you don't hear or see as well as you would when you are younger. And while some gain wisdom, some also are blinded by any number of factors that they cannot see people for who they really are. So is the case in one Albus Dumbledore. He is blinded by trusting in others when they haven't proven to be trustworthy.
