Just to be clear I DO NOT OWN Sons of Anarchy! Oh how I wish I did, At least Jax, maybe Happy. I don't ask for much. NO PROFIT IS BEING MADE FROM THIS.
Ladies of SAMCRO-Donna Part 1
Donna heard the minister pronounce her and Opie husband and wife, but it felt more like a dream. As she looked around the church she thought maybe a nightmare because it was mostly
SOA at her wedding. Of course they had to wear their cuts. She wasn't surprised, just disappointed. After all that was the only family she had left. Her parents disowned her when they
found out she was going to marry in their words" That grimy, worthless hoodlum". The last words her mother told her before she slammed the door in her face was "Mark my words
Donna, one day that man will get you killed". She took a deep breath and put on a smile. No turning back now. She knew she had made the right decision and just prayed that one day
her parents would come around. As they walked down the isle together for the first time as husband and wife she squeezed his hand to let him know she was happy. He knew she had
doubts before, but not now. They were together for better or worse and to hell with whoever didn't think they would make it. At the reception Jax danced with her and said "You look
beautiful Donna. You and Ope will have a good life together. And if you ever need anything you know the Sons have your back. Your permanent family now". She just smiled and nodded
her head. He meant well however she wasn't worried about herself. She was worried about Opie. She knew the Sons were getting into some dangerous stuff and she was afraid it would
get Opie killed. If that happened she would be alone. Well not totally alone. She would have their baby. She had just told Opie he was going to be a father yesterday. She was 8 weeks
pregnant. He was so happy. Finally she had a real family that would love her no matter what. All she ever wanted. The only thing that would make this day perfect was if her best friend
Tara was there, but she had left charming 7 months ago. She had escaped to find a life of her own away from the small town mentality and the Sons. Donna knew she would never have
that kind of courage. At heart she was a homemaker who just wanted kids, a husband that loved her, was faithful and earned an honest paycheck. Well she had 2 out of 3. Maybe she
would make it if she didn't ask what he was doing for the Sons. Don't ask, don't tell. Why not? It worked for the military. She was determined to make good home for her family and maybe
Opie would see that that was better than taking so many chances with the Sons doing things that could get him put in prison or worse. But to be fair she had known from day one that he
wanted to join SOA. His father was one of the founding nine and to Opie and Jax it was a birthright. After all everyone knew that one day Jax would become president and Opie would be
his sergeant at arms. She was hoping to avoid that day but deep down in her heart she knew it would happen no matter what. She just prayed that Opie would survive and not make her
a widow before she was 30. Life sure was funny. One day her and Tara were sitting in class and she got hit in the back of the head with a rubber band. When she turned around Opie was
grinning at her and he said "Hi. Want to sit with us at lunch"? One hell of a pick up line for a ten year old and look at her now. She was married to him. Oh well like her nanna used to say
"Life is what happens when you are making other plans". She put on another smile and went to dance with her new husband again. This was her life and she would make the best of it.
Well this is part 1 of Donna's story. Please review and let me know what you think. Good or bad. P. S. Thanks go out to Valentina Fontaine for all of her awesome ideas.
