It seemed like ever since we freed Angel from the School our whole life has been based off of running.
Running from,
Running to,
Running with.
Now the last one was easy. Running with: the Flock. It will always be the Flock. Because they were the people I grew up with, that I raised, the only people I ever trusted and still do trust.
The first two were the ones that were harder. We are never sure who we can trust and who we can't. Which is basically why we stick to only trusting each other.
Without the Flock, I would have nothing. No matter what the Voice says about them being a distraction, I will never leave them. If the Voice, the School, and whoever else really want me to save the world, I'm doing it on my terms.
Not theirs.
