"Remember us...dream of us..."
He was standing on a stone porch begging her to step back. She was standing on a wooden plank off the porch, poised to jump.
"Can your conscience carry the weight of another dead race?"
She shifts her weight forward and falls into the water, to be devoured by her children. He runs forward, screaming, and collapses to the ground, yelling "No, no, no, no, not another one, I could've helped them!"
The scene changes to a large dark room with a giant hole running to the center of the Earth. He looks different. This time a different red haired woman is with him. He's holding a handful of chrome balls over the hole.
"I warned you. You did this." The Doctor throws several handfuls of the balls into the air. Some surround the Empress and some smash into the walls of the corridor, destroying them and letting the water from the Thames rush in torrents. Another bauble explodes at the Racnoss Empress' feet. She wails as water floods into the chamber and down the hole, flooding it. He watches, stony faced and silent as the Racnoss Empress screams.
"My children! No! My children! My children!
The red haired woman with him raises her voice and tells him to stop. But he can't. He wants the Empress to feel what he feels. To be the last of her kind. He watches as she transports herself back to her web ship.
"Come on. Time I got you out." He and the red head climbed up to the street and saw the Empress' ship had been shot down.
He woke up in a cold sweat. The woman next to him sensed his distress and woke up as well.
"What's the matter, Sweetie?" she asked him. He sat up, pushed the hair and sweat out of his eyes. "Nothing, just a dream. Go back to sleep. Big day tomorrow." He looked her in the eye and smirked. Of course tomorrow was a big day. Every day was a big day when you're with the Doctor.
