2Hi everyone! I know I should be updating my other story Mischief never managed but I don't know where to go from there so... This fic came out of a friend writing a creepy short story in class and we got into a competition and this was my best one. Let me clarify a few things
Lily's parents have just died
She and James are dating but Lily has sunk into a deep depression that even the love of her life can't bring her out of.
It is in their seventh year
So without further ado...
"Sshh" James gently comforted Lily by the common room fire.
"Its okay Lily. It'll all end up okay." James rocked her back and forth slowly Lily looked up at him her usually mischievous warm green eyes were now dull and void of life. "James your so good to me. You don't have to stay with me."
"I know Lils I want to. Now please smile I haven't seen you smile or laugh in such a long time." Lily just turned back t he crackling fire.
"At least come out side with me. You look so pale and sickly. You need some sunlight." Lily let James pull her up and lead her outside to the dock on the Great lake(A/N: I know there isn't really one but this is just the one that fits into the story.) He sat her down until the sun was low on the horizon.
"Lily we should go inside." James suggested in a gentle tone
"Thats okay James I'll stay out here for a while."
"Okay" James sighed but left her sitting there. After awhile Lily stood up and Walked over to the sandy beach writing a
note in the sand to James. Then she walked back over to the dock and discarded her shoes. For a few moments Lily just stared into the dark deep water, waves lapping against the rocks. Then without a moments hesitation Lily jumped, never to be seen again. The waves soon erased her message and as Lily's life ebbed away so did James heart. He wanted t go and save her as her watched her jump but he knew she would hate him for it. Forever burned in his mind were the words she wrote in the sand but had never spoken, 'I love you'.
Yes I know its incredibly short but I just wanted to get this out and see what people thought. If you like it and people ask maybe I'll do James' and the rest of the marauder's death's too but they won't necessarily be suicide.
