'And I just wanna show you
She don't even know you
She's never gonna love you like I want to
You just see right through me but if you only knew me
We could be a beautiful miracle unbelievable instead of just invisible'
Later, when I regain consciousness, we (The Grimms, 'Mr Canis' the Big bad wolf, 'Mr Hamstead' one of the three little pigs and 'Bess' the cow who jumped over the moon) go to the abandoned subway station, where the six dwarves make their home. 'Creepy.' says Daphne. I like her. She's so innocent, but she's funny and nice. Mostly. 'Just be patient, liebling. You eyes will adjust' says Relda, as it is quite dark down here. 'Man, it smells foul' says 'Bess'. 'I believe that is the girl' says 'Canis'. 'Uh, Hello? I'm standing right here!' says Sabrina, annoyed.
Mr Hamstead leads us along a damp concrete passageway lined with huge pipes and electrical wiring. 'We are close' says Canis, sniffing the air, 'I smell them' The tunnel opens up into a huge station with an arched ceiling held up by elegant columns and cut through with skylights that allowed rays of light to shine down on the gold tiled walls and floor. The room looked like the lost tomb of a pharaoh. At the centre was a single train track, where a lone subway car was parked. 'Hello?' calls Relda, 'Is anybody there?'
I zone out for awhile, but keep walking. I just can't believe that it's really true. She's got him, but she doesn't want him. I don't have him, But I want him. And he wants her.
Well. I'll just have to change that.
