A/N: So yeah, this is my first story and it might be a bit bad but bear with me please :)
Havent seen many stories with this pairing so i figured i'd give it a go, its Fem!Naru-Chouji

Sitting in his garden Chouji watched as the night went away and made room for the morning and the sky went from the blackest of black and instead got a reddish tint orange at the edge of the horizon.
But none of that fazed him as he sat deep in thought, he thought over his life and all that had happened.

He thought of his academy days where he at start didnt have a friend and felt lonely, to the meeting of Shikamaru and later the gang of 'Dead-lasts'
They seemed like a odd group at the time, Chouji the fa-AHEM!- Pleasently Plump and shy kid,
Shikamaru the lazy genius with a near cataconic view of life, Kiba the shaggy boy who brought his dog Akamaru ( a unofficial part of the group)
And a later addition of Naruto, the girl who defied all kunoichi standards and prefered training over flower arrangement.
They were really the outcasts at the time as the other students picked on them a lot, though they retaliated with pranks.

But as time went on and the time came for the graduation exams, and the team selection had come the group knew they would be split.
Shikamaru and Chouji were lucky enough to get on the same team, though they had to bear with a ferocious banshee.
Kiba, being a Inuzuka, went to a tracker team under the command of Kurenai, and got himself a steady team that even now did missions together from time to time.

No the unlucky one was Naruto who ended up with the emo-bastard of Konoha and the biggest fan-girl in Konoha, Though they were under the command of the Copy-Nin.
And somehow, through her sheer persistence, Naruto had gotten stronger and stronger as time went, something Sasuke and the council did not like.

In hindsight it would have been better for all of Konoha if they had not allowed the hatred within Sasuke to fester.

He had started a fall of dominos that was felt even now when he left the village and joined the snake.

It was during the retrieval that Chouji truly understood the meaning of being a shinobi of Konoha and he learned a valuable lesson in life when he nearly lost his life, and that of his friends.
He learned to never take anything for granted and decided to truly live life.

And now years later, he somehow felt that he should feel gratitude for sasuke, for had he not left, Chouji may not have had the courage to do what he had wanted since graduation.

Staring at him for a while, Naruto suddenly grinned as a idea came to her mind.
The cold and wet grass tickled her feet as she walked as quietly as she could to her target, her face lighting up at the prospects of her plan.
She was right behind him ready to pounce, hailing down on him without mercy.

The sound of laughter tore through the district as her rain of tickling hit him with a fearsome force.
But then he retaliated with as much ferocity as herself.

Several minutes later, gasping for breath Naruto had ended up under Chouji, face flushed from all the laughing and her hair and robe disheveled from rolling in the grass.
She couldnt stop staring up at his face, equally flushed and disheveled, and she blushed.

«What were you thinking about?» she asked him, staring into his brown eyes, watching as a bead of sweat trickled down his face and eyes stopping at his lips.

«Just about how lucky i am» he answered, causing her to blush even harder, before smashing his lips to hers

Yes, he owed a bit to Sasuke for departing, for had he not done that, Chouji may never had the guts to ask out drop-dead gorgeous Uzumaki Naruto, and thus he may never have achieved the level of happiness that she gave him.
