Dumbledore gazed at the two twin boys, Damian and Harry, who were sleeping. Harry had a lightning shape scar on his forehead, while his twin had a scar that looked like a rune. Albus wasn't sure who the boy-who-lived was and just chose one.

"Damian is the boy who lived" he told the Potters. But he was wrong. Damian's scar was accidental, caused by glass that cut his forehead, during the attack. Both boys had bleeding foreheads.

That night everyone in the wizarding world lifted their wine glasses and praised the supposed boy who lived.

** Seven years later**

"Mummy," Damian wailed "Harry took my bear!" pointing at his twin.

"It's mine" Harry argued. "Uncle Remus gave it to me for my birthday"

Lily sighed, and tried to explain to Damian that the bear was Harry's, but her son just wailed harder.

*Smack*

"Oww... That's not fair. I'm the boy-who-lived. Daddy said I was special" Damian cried out.

"Special or not, I will not be allowing this sort of behaviour under my roof. That bear is Harry's. Remember our rules of not stealing and arguing. But if you ask nicely, I'm sure Harry will let you play with his bear." Lily told her son sternly.

Damian sulked and did as his mother complied. Lily poured herself a glass of wine. Looking after Damian and Harry were a lot of hard work, especially since James drilled into Damian's head that he was the boy-who-lived.

The next morning, Harry was outside playing in the grass

'Stupid human, sitting in my very spot. Pathetic the lot of them. I wonder if I should bite him' a voice said in the grass.

Harry looked down and saw the snake. 'Please don't bite me. I'm sorry I didn't know this was your spot' Harry told the snake.

'A speaker?' The snake said surprised.

Lily saw what happened and told him to go inside immediately, "Harry, why don't you come inside and play your blocks with your brother?" she asked, more like said.

"Good bye snake. Mummy wants me to go inside" Harry told the snake before running inside the house.

Lily knew then, that Damian was not the boy who lived. Dumbledore had told the Potters his suspicions that Voldemort must have transferred some of his powers to Damian during the attack, as he could feel magic surrounding the room that night

When her husband came home from work she told him the news. James paled. Lily saw her husbands' reaction and glared at him.

"Don't tell me you mistreated Harry" she snarled at him. "I thought you knew better"

"I'm sorry Lily. I just believed Damian sometimes….i didn't know. I thought he was…Dumbledore said…" James stuttered, felling ashamed.

"Don't saw sorry to me. And Albus is getting old James, and who said he was always right? I expect you to apologise to Harry later. It's a good thing Damian's still young so he can lose the attitude before Hogwarts. You have much to explain when we get home." Lily warned him.

"Yes dear." James murmured.

They then flooed Dumbledore and showed him her memory of what he saw.
