This one-shot had been the hardest for me to upload because it's very personal to me, because I'm running for head girl at the moment. It's a mixture of my feelings and how I think Lily would have felt. Hope you enjoy it and maybe can relate to it to. Review please

Her whole life had been leading to this.
This moment, right now, decided everything.
This letter, this measly piece of parchment contained the power to break her heart. This letter decided whether her six years of dedication, of perseverance and struggle, of working her ass off had, paid off. This letter determined whether all she'd sacrificed, all the times she had stayed in her dormitory working to achieve perfect grades, instead of going out and having fun had been for something. This letter decided if she was good enough.
If she was worthy.
And if she wasn't...then Lily didn't know what she'd do. This was all she had left. She wanted this more than anything else, she wanted this like a child wants its' mother when it's scared, she wanted this like a person wants the one they love, the one that makes it all better. She needed this. Needed to prove herself; to everyone. She needed this like she needed air; she needed this like the blood that her heart pumped around her body.
Fingers trembling. Breath gasping.
Could she do it? Open it...
The seal was broken, her heart might be too.
Her heart was beating to hard it might break out of her chest. Blood was rushing in her ears, roaring; she couldn't hear anything else.
She couldn't breathe.
Fighting her clenched eyes to open them. Read it.
Courage.
Eyes skimmed the page. Legs gave way. Letter fluttered out of her hand.
She'd done it.
She was Head Girl.
Her life had purpose now.
She was worthy.
To all those who thought she'd never make it, that they were better than her, who hated her, she'd triumphed.
They were the losers now.
