4The Son of Neptune
Annabeth POV
We were in a cave in a mountain near San Francisco. Everyone was asleep when me and Thalia were talking about what we are going to do next. When we were talking we heard fighting and talking coming from outside the cave.
"Everyone quiet" I said. "What was that?"
"I don't know let's check it out" said Thalia.
Thalia and I quietly walked to the entrance of the cave. We saw a boy about 17 and a gorgon fighting.
"Stay back" Thalia said
"We should help..." I said.
Then we stood still in our tracks then I heard it.
"You better give up now Percy Jackson" said the gorgon.
"I will never give up you are dead" said Percy.
"You'll never kill me I would just come back and hunt you down all over again" said the gorgon.
"Is that who I think it is" I said.
"I don't know but let's go and find out for sure" said Thalia.
I watched while Percy fighted the gorgon after a while I heard a shrilling screech the next thing I knew was that the gorgon turned into dust. After that Percy fell down. We ran to him and it was really him! Thalia and I brought him into the cave.
Percy POV
I was just fighting a gorgon that has been chasing for about 2 months I think. Then I think I killed it then I was on the ground everything was getting blurry when I saw to girls standing over me.
"It is him" the blond girl said who looked very familiar.
"I think it is him" said the Goth girl.
Then everything went black.
I had a dream that I was at place that looked like a camp that looked familiar maybe near New York because I could hear lots of cars beeping in the background. There were a lot of people who looked the age between about 7-18. They all looked I don't know why but sad. Then the scene changed I was underwater at a place that looked like a palace but it was crushed to pieces I'm guessing it was in a battle. Then I woke up because I felt water fall on me!
