1Avatarjasmin- Yeah, it pretty late at night, and I was thinking about Kingdom Hearts as usual, and...this came into mind.
Disclaimer: If I did own this series, Riku and Sora would be canon, hey, I held myself and made then bff, and akuroku would be canon too.
Are You Sure?
Sora was confused. It has been awhile since the events of Kingdom hearts happened, and now Sora, our resident keyblade wielder, had just thought up the question
He looked toward his best friend, Riku, who was leaning against the tree, while he himself was sitting on it beside him.
"Hey Riku, what did darkness feel like?" Riku's head snapped towards him in surprise.
"Why would you ask that Sora?" Riku pushed off the tree and went to sit next beside him.
"Well, Roxas has been opening up, and talked about the darkness, he said it felt good, but in a wrong way, like cheating on someone. He said it felt warm, and that it talked to him, urging him to give in. But he said the voice was full of malice, so he refused, but it did give him some samples of it. Roxas said he felt powerful, he could destroy any heartless, shadow, anything, it gave him abilities too, like, levitation, and new clothing too! So I guess I was just curious to ask why you didn't stay with the darkness. I mean, you would have been an all-powerful, levitating dude with awesome threads!" Sora explained to him, oblivious to the consequences using it.
"You know, now that I think about it, it does give you loads of advantages..." Riku trailed off.
"Yeah! And the light just leaves you with hope, which we all need, but, we could use more than that." Sora agreed.
"You know, maybe I should've stayed and tried to kill you..." Riku smirked at the angry expression he got.
"Riku! That's not fair!" Sora whined while waving his arms up and down.
Riku jumped down in front of Sora and patted his head, "It's alright Sora, I would've left anyway, the clothes they gave me were sooo girly, I mean, they gave me a skirt..." Riku winced as he remember wearing that white thing the flowed around his waist
"Oh yeah! I remember!" Sora realized.
"So, Sora, if you were given the chance at darkness, would you take it?" Riku questioned him.
"Well-" Sora was cut off by a yell.
"Sora! Riku! Come on! Tidus and the others are waiting for you!" Kairi's head popped up from behind the tree.
"Right! Come on Riku! Race ya there!" Sora laughed as Kairi protested as she ran with him, forgetting the question and leaving Riku to walk there himself.
As Riku walked to them, he though, 'You know, I might not ever find out the answer if Sora would ever leave us for darkness...nah..he'stoo sweet, but, if he does, I'll repay him, by saving him as he did too me...' He started to run to them and catch up with the others at there reunion.
Though the whole reunion, Riku kept discreetly looking at Sora, to see if there were any hints. But none. As they got ready to leave, Riku finally made a conclusion.
'No...the darkness can try, but they'll never get the boy with underwear on his head being carried by his best friend *cough me cough* because he couldn't hold at least 2 glasses of beer...oh Sora, you'll never change.' Riku smiled and chuckled as he made his way to their shared house on Destiny Islands,
