4A/N: I've been wanting to do more fanfictions for a while now, but hadn't really had the time to post any.. Well, this is really just a writing exersize, I thought a mild oneshot might help to get the juices flowin . SO this isn't it folks! I actually have a few longer stories on the side, and should get around to posting them soon.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, obviously. If I did, i'd tie Naruto, Sasuke and or Neji down with twizzlers and have them ravish each other. ^-^ I'm serious.

"Naruto-kun, can I talk to you?" asked the hyuga heir.
"About what neji-san?" Asked the blond kitsune.
"There's…something I need to tell you, and ask you." Neji said.
"Ok, sure.
They walked to a little pond, just outside the Kohana borders. It was dark, and the only thing to be heard was their footsteps. Suddenly, neji stopped, right beside a cherry blossom tree.
Neji gulped, and turned to naruto. He was very nervous, and didn't know how naruto would react to what he was about to say.
"Naruto," he started. "I've known you for a long time, and, you are a very special person to me, and…"
Neji looked at naruto's confused face. How am I going to do this? He thought. Then, he took a deep breath.
"Naruto…I-I love you. I always have, and I would like to know if you felt the same way." He said, and sighed when the confused look on naruto's face turned to utter shock. He doesn't feel the same way, does he. he thought to himself, now feeling depressed. He was about to turn around and walk away, when naruto grabbed him by the arm, head down and his hair covering his face in a shadow.
"N-neji, please tell me this is not some joke." Naruto said, almost to tears now.
"No, I would never do something like that to you, I'm very serious." He said, and lightly took his hand out of naruto's grasp.
"Neji…why would you love a monster?" naruto asked, now crying.
Neji sighed. He never thought naruto to be a monster, and to hear him say that, it almost made him angry. Almost.
"Naruto, you are not a monster, so don't ever say that again," he said in a stern, but soft voice. "And I love you because you are strong willed and kind, and beautiful."
Naruto's heart softened at his words. No one had ever said things like this to him, and he didn't know how to react. So he closed the distance between him and neji, in a warming hug. Still crying, but now they were happy tears.
"Naruto…."
" I love you too neji!" Naruto said, pouncing on the young ninja
Neji was astounded, he never thought this would happen; he had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
Neji embraced naruto, then he pulled his face up to meet his.
"Naruto, kiss me." He said. it wasn't a demand, or a question, and naruto knew this. He had a choice or not if he wanted to kiss him…so he did.
